Saw Yes 53 yrs ago I was 16 in 1971 they opened for Jethro Tull & too see Jon Anderson now is so emotional for me but it's tears of joy😊...timeless music and it's so exciting to see the current generation enjoying this in their youth like I did ❤💕💞💖❤
Meu querido ancião cantando como eu conheci no auge de seus vinte e poucos anos! Força 💪 🏋️♂️ não é tempo de parar! Continue encantando os anciãos de sua geração e deixe a istória para os jovens de hoje 🎉🎉🎉
People take for granted Jons incredible lung capacity which has it significantly diminished throughout the years he can still sustained notes that individuals and their twenties cant hold. No one will ever sound like him ever if we haven't destroyed ourselves in 500 years they'll be watching videos of him, he was the heart and soul of yes totally he was the total package a songwriter a singer and really the soul of yes
When Steve and Jon wrote this - 60 years ago now - little did they think they'd still be performing it in their 80s, surrounded by young musicians who loved and cherished their music!! I wonder what those two young women with acoustic guitars, coming forward at the end, were going to perform...?
The greatest tribute I can pay Jon Anderson is that I'm emotionally choked out. God bless you and thanks for all the beautiful moments inside out, outside in.👑🙏🍁
Love to see Jon work with the kids , passing these classic songs to future generations. Listening to these songs reminds me of my younger days ! Thank you for posting .
Watching Jon smile and hearing his voice on a classic surrounded by youngsters carrying the torch is sooooooooooooooooooo uplifting and spiritual. One word "Beautiful"
Beautiful. The Wondrous One sharing his talent and brilliance with an entirely different generation who are engaged and grateful. Music transcends time. And Jon is in his own league.
Seen Jon so many times, he has never failed to impress, you can just feel the passion he has for the music, have tickets to see him in June, can't wait
Jon Anderson, this is what love is all about. Transporting it to everyone, and you just do that - actually, it seems that is what you always did our entire life, and you always wanted just to do that ever since. This is so amazingly outstanding
Saw this show in London at the end of June and loved every minute. The energy and joy coming off the stage from Jon and the young musicians was absolutely phenomenal.
Great to see Mr Anderson playing with a new generation of musicians. And it’s really great to see female musicians involved. That is something Yes never did despite all their incarnations.
I"m in Northern California - it's 10 months after this gig happened and I'm literally feeling the hair on the back of my neck rising with joy at this performance......
I met John and his wife in Monterey California. They were getting something to drink at a quick stop! I couldn’t believe how sweet and kind they both were . He was on his way down the coast to play a show ! Anyone who has ever met him probably has the same impression. So positive and inspiring and seeing this is the cherry on top! 👽✌️🙏
YES! He and Janie are the sweetest human beings... Jon (not "John") is a dee-Light -- so glad you got to meet him, you'll never forget, for I have never forgotten that special moment after a YESShow backstage when my wife and I told him we only played his music at our wedding, he went "Weeeee!" -- I asked her to take care of him and she has: the Andersons are angels on earth. God bless them!
What a challenge. Yes - that incredible, complex tapestry of sound and the cosmic lyrical dance of Jon's lyrics. These young musicians are amazing, hard to believe they would take this on and do it this well.
It's mindblowing how great Jon sounds at age 78! How does his voice still perform at this level? It's like he's still in his 20s or 30s. I love how he interacts with these kids and how they react when he hits those notes! Thank You for posting this! It made my day!
I truly believe it's due to clean living. The proof is here, even though Genesis is my all time favorite band, Collins lost much due to certain events in his due to his own hand, whereas Jon sounds like he's in his 30's.
78 and his voice is still the same, or I should say even better, than the first time I saw them live in the 70's back in the Ahoy in Rotterdam. There's no band today (except for some others from the same era) that are on this level.
Steve Howe may be the trademark owner of the Yes name, be a great composer and an ace on slide-guitar, but the ones that made Yes stand out are Jon Anderson, Chris Squire and Rick Wakeman. They are unreplaceable.Jon's voice, Chris's riffs and the shear impressive way Rick plays keyboards and church organs are just out of this world. These youngsters are a doing a great tribute to that.
@@simduino Well Steve and Jon wrote most of the hits so you have to give Steve credit for that, but I think we all agree its sad Steve (for reasons we may never know) has put the stop to their collaboration.
I don’t know whether this was Jon’s idea, or his manager’s, or whoever. It really works, for me. The youthful, party atmosphere they create, is the perfect showcase for Jon’s exceptional material and unbelievable vocal prowess.
Dear Jon... Hello from Long Island... If you are OUT there somewhere on this wonderful planet... All I can say is THANK YOU! This was truly heartwarming to see you playing with these kids... Just fantastic Jon... I can't get the smile off of my face... > : , )
Like me, Jon looks so old. But oh my, is voice is still as good as it was in the early 70's. Thank you Jon for bringing so much wonderful music to me and the world. 😃
It does my heart good to see this type of stuff revived by younger folks.... who seem to be into it as well. Saw "The School of Rock" with Jon a few years ago locally and even though it took two guys to pull off "Clap" it was sensational. Not only were they into it, but they also added a bit of their own flare to bring it up a notch. (and Jon giving it a nod from the side lines) A simplified explanation would be a "call and reply" style like dueling banjoes. It put the hair up on my neck too.
JON THE BEST FOREVER
My favorite vocalist of all time...and he still has it.
Amazing!!!
78 and still sounds amazing 👏👏👏🥰

At the Yale Bowl?
Jon doing this with these kids is magical. Life is a circle.

Can't get over how much his voice hasn't changed in the last 50+ years
I am crying really...
Holy moly Jon’s voice is still amazing! What a guy!
you reached the goal! playing this amazing tune with the creator of this pieace of art, amazing!
Whoever the bass player is absolutely nailed Chris Squire’s tone. It sounds like Chris is playing. Amazing!
Jon Anderson is and will always be the best voice of YES
The one and only
ALWAYS WAS AND ALWAYS WILL BE.
I was very lucky that I lived at the same time as John Anderson!!!!!!!!!
Jon’s voice and lyrical approach defined the music of Yes. I wish Jon, Steve, and Rick could put out just one more album!
I would buy it, I have no choice.
restoring my faith in humanity
I can’t believe how good Jon’s voice sounds at his age. Truly remarkable!!❤❤❤
When Steve and Jon wrote this - 60 years ago now - little did they think they'd still be performing it in their 80s, surrounded by young musicians who loved and cherished their music!!
I wonder what those two young women with acoustic guitars, coming forward at the end, were going to perform...?
I don't know how Jon Anderson manages to look both old and young at the same time.
78 years old! Still as brilliant as in 1969!!!
The Original Anderson still continues, brilliant as ever, Oh Yes!
God bless! After all this time his wonderful voice remains the same. Unbelievable.
He is 78. He is old. But his voice !!!! Sounds like a record , still !!!
79 now as of Oct 25th
Still looks good too.
The greatest tribute I can pay Jon Anderson is that I'm emotionally choked out. God bless you and thanks for all the beautiful moments inside out, outside in.👑🙏🍁
OMG, you are so right. He still has it and is having fun ❤
Here here !! 👏👏🙏
Love to see Jon work with the kids , passing these classic songs to future generations. Listening to these songs reminds me of my younger days ! Thank you for posting .
Exactly. Jon is very spiritual, and you can see his joy as he shares his gift with Gen Z rockers.
Jon's voice is still excellent. good for him.
Watching Jon smile and hearing his voice on a classic surrounded by youngsters carrying the torch is sooooooooooooooooooo uplifting and spiritual. One word "Beautiful"
I'm thrilled with the new Yes album Mirror to the Sky, but I have to confess Jon approaching 80 sounds light years beyond the current Yes' abilities.
Wow!! He’s still brilliant at almost 80!! I loved Jon in the ‘70s’. ….and just as much now!!!
So great to see all those young musicians playing a classic & doing such a good job.
Beautiful. The Wondrous One sharing his talent and brilliance with an entirely different generation who are engaged and grateful. Music transcends time. And Jon is in his own league.
Almost 80 and he can still bring it .
Seen Jon so many times, he has never failed to impress, you can just feel the passion he has for the music, have tickets to see him in June, can't wait
I seen yes at least 10 times in Philly, and Jon Anderson bye himself, always great shows, makes me wish for the old days of rock
That Gibson buddy is playing at 4:16 sounds sweet, he nailed it! 👍
Jon, superb. I’ve just listened to much of “True”. Outstanding.
I was there. Rick played the night before.
Agreed I was there too.
I wish I had been there.
So much love for this man. The Yes Album had permanent residence in my car stereo for a very long time.
Great to see Mr Anderson playing with a new generation of musicians. And it’s really great to see female musicians involved. That is something Yes never did despite all their incarnations.
I love you Jon! You are my biggest music hero.
Shamanic sublime.

LOVE
YES is still alive!!
How lucky are those young people can perform lively with the legend.
What a challenge. Yes - that incredible, complex tapestry of sound and the cosmic lyrical dance of Jon's lyrics. These young musicians are amazing, hard to believe they would take this on and do it this well.
Totally agree. What talent to play this music so well. Tapestry of sound and cosmic lyrical dance of John's lyrics. Brilliantly said @usturnuranus.🥰

I would so prefer this over the Steve Howe solo project currently touring under the name Yes. Beautiful.
Steve Howe may be the trademark owner of the Yes name, be a great composer and an ace on slide-guitar, but the ones that made Yes stand out are Jon Anderson, Chris Squire and Rick Wakeman. @@lastdaysguitar which I did "be a great composer" and you're right it's sad to see things ending this way.

Jons been working with the kids program at Rock School for many years.

Fantastic Jon. Anderson + friends.
His voice is epic.
Un cariño desde Buenos Aires, Argentina para nuestro querido JON y para todos esos jóvenes talentos que lo acompañaron.
I saw Jon on this tour in the UK. It was a great night and bought back memories of the 1970’s when Yes ruled supreme.
tu voz me transporta al infinito..
That voice
Het was verrassend goed, ik was erbij.
WOW! 🎉 OMG... this is such a wonderful romp thru one of my favorite classic Yes pieces. ❤

Seeing Jon joyful and bringing in a new generation of yes fans is great. I'm jealous. Would love to play with him.

Like me, Jon looks so old. But oh my, is voice is still as good as it was in the early 70's. Thank you Jon for bringing so much wonderful music to me and the world. 😃
What an experience for the Academy performers? Jon would easily be the age of a grand father for them.
❤❤Owner of a lonely heart. Jon and Vangelis. What a performance. Greetings Dirk Belgium
A truly giving artist and visionary. God bless him with great health and long life.
This is so awesome of jon to work with these young musicians...they did awfully good job...

You can replace the band, but you can’t replace Jon.
Wow.

Wow still has a very powerful voice! I guess he’s never stopped using his amazing instrument
