    You just saved me hours of work, I couldn't get the "Pedal FX" to work" so now I've set it to (1) and it works perfectly, thank you, John from England.

    Two days into this pedal and love it! I feel like I’m missing something with the wah…I’m not seeing a “wah” patch when I scroll through. I’m assuming I need to be on the wah patch before setting it up for the pedal? Does the wah patch automatically come with the GT1? Or am I missing something else…?

      Hello there, Klaudio.
      Thanks for your comment and for watching, I greatly appreciate it.
      First of all, how do you want to use the GT-1? For its effects only, or, for both its effects and preamp models? Do you want your Peavey amp to be the main amplifier sound??
      I can see that the Peavey amp is a Modeling amp, also with effects and preamp models.. It's important that you figure out how you want to use the GT-1, and the Peavey.

    Do you know if you can set the expression pedal as a volume pedal with trails on the reverb? Meaning that the reverb keeps going after you put down the volume.

      Hello Peter.
      Thanks for your comment and question, I greatly appreciate it.
      As far as I know, there's no trail for the Delay and Reverb. It's something the GT-100 has, but not the GT-1, to my kowledge.

      Hi there.
      Thanks for your comment and question, I appreciate it.
      Hmm, that seems strange... Have you set the operation for the EXP1 to PDLFX/VOL? Or did you change it to something else.
      Start checking that, and if that doesn't help, I would recommend doing a Factory Reset, to see if that solves the problem.
      Let me know how it goes.
      Best regards.

    I absolutely hate pedals with that kind of switch, unfortunately it's pretty common now. I always end up switching them off accidentally while I'm playing. I'll try to put the sensitivity to 16 though, maybe it will kinda disable it for me

    • @GuitarNTabs
      @GuitarNTabs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi there.
      Thanks for your comment and question.
      There's the PDL effects block, where all the Wah types are located, as well as the Pedal Bend, but there's also a T. Wah (Touch Wah) in the FX1/FX2 effects block, so in theory you could use both the Wah and the Pedal Bend, at the same time.
      I hope this helps.

    How can you set it so when you swap from one patch to another
    It starts at the patch saved level of the foot pedal
    Say patch A is set to volume
    Patch B is Wah
    If I swap from patch B when wah is all the way down them swap to patch A the volume is down instead of as saved which is all the way up.
    Gt100 used to let me.do that then it would read the actual foot pedal amount when touched.

    Can the expression pedal be used for overdrive? Like to control the level of OD??

    • @GuitarNTabs
      @GuitarNTabs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there.
      Thanks for your comment and question, I appreciate it.
      Sure, the EXP1 can control a lot of things, for example the level of the OD/DS block.
      Use one of the available assigns (A1 through A6) and set it up.
      The MIN parameter is the current value of the od level, and the MAX parameter is the value you want it to sweep to, using the EXP1.
      I hope this helps.
      Best regards.

      One more question. I am considering of buying the boss fv-500h pedal. Does the boss gt1 expression pedal work the same as any other volume pedals on the market? I want use boss gt1 volume pedal to control the level OD and the boss fv-500h for volume. Do you happen to know which cable I need to connect the boss gt1 to the volume pedal? Looking forward to hearing from you!! Thank you once again :)

    • @GuitarNTabs
      @GuitarNTabs  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jieunlee6470 - Hi!
      Sure, ask away!
      I believe it does, yes. Like many other Volume/Expression pedals on the market, the GT-1's onboard EXP1 pedal can be used as volume/expression.
      What you're trying to achieve will surely be possible.
      What cable you need depends on how you're going to set up the FV-500 within your guitar rig.
      If you do not need the FV-500 as an expression pedal, but only volume, then you could simply connect the FV-500 after your guitar.
      Like this:
      Guitar ➡ FV-500 Input ➡ FV-500 Output ➡ GT-1 Input ➡ so on and so on...
      For this you only need a standard guitar cable, but for the expression part, if you want to use that at some point, then you need a TRS-jack - also known as a stereo jack.
      I hope this helps.
      Let me know if there's anything I can do.
      Best regards.

    I have an issue. It works either as a volume either as Wah, i can't manage to have both, meaning: Volume when switch is off and Wah when switch is on. I either get Volume only (not matter the switch) or Wah only (once switch is on). In BTS i have EXP1=FootVolume and EXPswitch=PedalFX. If you have any idea what i am doing wrong i would appreciate it!! Thank you!

    • @GuitarNTabs
      @GuitarNTabs  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Try going into the Signal Chain, by pressing the Memory Edit-button. Then scroll to the right, and find the EXP1-icon and press the Enter-button.
      Make sure the FUNCTION is set to "PDL FX/FV". This will allow the EXP1 to act as Volume, and then Wah, once the pedal is all the way forward and pressed down, so the Pedal FX led is turned on (red).
      I hope this helps.
      Cheers.

      Another thing - if you know- I'm trying to work with the pitch shifter in order to down tune 1 or two steps. I set it up as the first in chain and also set D. Level at 0, but still cannot play a chord without distortion. I think it is a limitation and you cannot successfully use GT1 for down tuning

      @@kachius2408 - Hi again!
      I'm very sorry for the late reply, I've been behind on answering comments...
      You're right, the drop tune isn't really a thing the GT-1 can do, not well atleast.
      Probably better off getting an external pedal for this, or an extra guitar, actually tuned down to the desired tuning.
      I hope this helps.

    But what does it actually mean to "engage" the expression pedal? It works right away, without any hard pressing or light on the indicator. What is there to engage other than the effect you allocate to it? There is something serious I do not understand here 🙂

    • @GuitarNTabs
      @GuitarNTabs  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi,
      Engaging the pedal means to activate it, whether that's with only the Wah-wah or other effects as well, that's mainly up to you, and how you use/want to use it.
      The calibration will determine how much pressure you'll have to apply, for the effect to engage.
      I hope this helps.
      Cheers.
