Nicely done. I didn’t think the GT-1 gave such endless possibilities at its price point. You’re video tutorials are always great. I’ve Learned so much.

      Thanks, I greatly appreciate that!
I think the intro tone got decently close to the original Cuts Like A Knife tone.
      Have a great day, Antonio!

Bro, excellent tutorial, I loved it. My only question is, where did you get all your tone references? How do you know what preamp od/ds, delays, reverb to combine and sound good.

      Hi there,
Thanks for your comment and question, I greatly appreciate it.
I've been a Boss MFX user for many, many years so I'm well familiar with the different preamp and effect combinations, and over the years I've found some really nice and good ones. My best advice is to experiment and play around with all the different options.
But, if you use your own amplifier with the GT-1, then you should always turn OFF the GT-1's preamp button, just to be clear.
Please let me know if you have further questions, I'd be happy to assist.
      Best regards.

@@GuitarNTabs thank you for replying. I'm looking for a nice and clean metal lead tone. Can you point me out in the right direction?

      @@guitar1690 - Hi again,
Nice and clean metal lead tone? I believe those words do not mix, haha!
How do you use the GT-1 - with your own amp, or?
      Thanks.

Could you make a video of how to do it but from the pedal board?

Hi , I see my gt1 as you show in the video . Quick question the volume on the clean is good but when I turn on the ctl1 the rise in volume is too great . I I tried reducing the volume on the distorted sound . What that does is also reduce the clean . Basically I want the clean a nice volume and when I switch the os /ds not to be over whelming . How do I do that and save it . ?

    Hey Kenni,
Is Tone Studio the software that comes with the unit, and where we initially upload all the extra presets?
Can these adjustments also be made directly onto the BOSS unit?
And instead of Cubase, is there a way to go directly into my iPhone or iPad to use GarageBand. I guess I will just need an adapter, quarter inch to USB.
    Thank you? 👍🏻🎸😝

      Hello, Parra.
Thanks for your comment and question.
Yes, Tone Studio is designed for the GT-1, and is the main platform.
Also yes, the patches created, can be stored in LiveSets and then exported and imported.
Regular adjustments and changes can be made on the GT-1 itself, yes, but organizing, importing and exporting is done in Tone Studio.
I have very little knowledge in that department, but I believe you're right, in getting an adapter, so it can be connected to an IPad and then into GarageBand.
      I hope this helps.
      All the best.

I seem to really have not even broken in my gt1 I never plugged it up to PC USB. I've heard so many tones that sound perfect that I have not been able to get manually. On hardware alone. Unless I'm just lost. Hahah

      Hello, Robert.
Thanks for your comment and for watching my video - I greatly appreciate it!
Using it with a PC is excellent, and often easier to handle and create patches.
Please do let me know, if there's anything I can do to assist. I'd be more than happy to help.
The GT-1 is a wonderful piece of equipment, and I wouldn't trade it for anything at the moment!
      Best regards.

Greetings. Amazing clean, chorused, overdriven and distortion tone. May I ask what amp and speakers you are coming through?

    • @GuitarNTabs
      @GuitarNTabs  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Haden Cluno.
Thanks for your kind words, and for watching! I really appreciate it.
I'm using the GT-1 for all, both effects and preamp/speaker.
If I remember correctly, the preamp model is the Match Drive, either with the Original speaker or changed to 1x12" or 2x12".
All of this is recorded via USB, into Cubase.
Let me know if you need anything else.
      All the best.

Hi, I can see that you organize the patches by song... Is this for live use or just that you found a good tone for a particular song and you want to keep it? Thanks...

    • @GuitarNTabs
      @GuitarNTabs  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Antonio,
Thanks for your comment and question.
A bit of both, actually. I have several LiveSets with dedicated patch songs for when I play live, but also some patches with a certain tone for a cover og similar, when I record.
Then I can always go back and find them.
Let me know if you need anything else.
      Have a splendid day, Antonio.
      Cheers.

Unfortunately, the plugin software doesn't work on M1/Big Sur. Works on my Intel iMac 10.14.6
