This guy that Dracula's spirit becomes enhanced to (in Smash Ultimate) starts out with a lot of hit points in this game. I'm impressed So Muh Cruise is that strong from the get to.
Soma would have been an interesting character in Smash, imagine after taking a stock it's neutral B becomes a new move based in the character he took a stock
It's always been on TH-cam. Just the first time it's been re-encoded and uploaded to the Official channel. Recent rule revisions allowed this to come back reclassified as "inbounds".
@Ryan Musthofa (OP) To expand on Smolselene's answer, a TAS allows the "player" to progress the game one frame at a time, allowing for deliberation on whether to add an input on that frame, subtract an active input (releasing a held input for example), or to simply advance as is to the next frame. This makes it possible to do tricks and executions that a real-time player (aka "a human") would either struggle with, or be unable to accomplish, be it consistently or at all. Going back to tweak inputs is what the Rerecord count is for, which also includes going back to manipulate luck-based factors such as soul-drops. For more, I went and found this video that explains it rather well: th-cam.com/video/Ietk1-Wb7oY/w-d-xo.html
None, it's rng manip. Basically, the game decides whether or not he gets a soul/item from an enemy based off a random number that changes based on a variety of things (button presses, particles, etc.) So at points, he'll press a button or perform an action to progress, or manipulate, the rng of the game. Sometimes the movement becomes "not optimal" because of it, however losing a frame in movement in those cases saves 5 minutes of grinding.
@Joseph Edge (OP) Also calling it a "cheat" or calling what the runner is doing "cheating" tends to be a bit of a trigger with most who are familiar with TAS running. This video will tell you more about it: th-cam.com/video/Ietk1-Wb7oY/w-d-xo.html
I think I spent more time farming for a Peeping Eye soul than the entire run time of this video.
Same but for Maneater and Ectoplasm
For me it was the Zombie soul
Peeping Eye soul was so time-consuming to get. I got the soul for 2 hrs.
Imagine being a monster and this guy starts annihilating your friends by moonwalking
OMG he took Jerry's soul! JERRY NOOOOO!

Ah yes, Soma channeling his inner Mathias
Graham: Start the car! I said "Get in the f***ing car!"
Soma: *goes berserk chasing Graham with Mina*
Fleaman Soul "Hops around madly" After hopping around madly for 3 and a half minutes before even getting the soul.

So what mod or cheat do you have active to make the enemies drop souls more often?
