    The hobby requires videos like this, if one only watches "masters" work it can become daunting to start oneself.

      Yeah, I try to keep things as simple and realistic to achieve as possible.

    Thanks for the video. I've been kit bashing my Primaris Space Wolves for a little bit and am starting to learn these greenstuff techniques. I am really starting to enjoy how much of a blank canvas Primaris models are.

      Yeah I actually love the blandness of Primaris sometimes.. That's why I'm doing all my kitbash videos. It's a lot of fun.

    That is great. I am currently working on 4 1/35 scale figures and recreating a photo of my father from WW2. I have the figures for my father, he wears a cap in the photo, the other person has no hat or helmet so I need to sculpt the rest of his head. I've used Tamiya modeling putty and small files to get the shape. Next will be to sculpt the hair.

    Going to attempt a brush cut. The question of how to do sunglasses is going to be the really tricky part.

    • @JamsMiniMods
      @JamsMiniMods  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've never done sunglasses, but I'd imagine if you use the flat side of your knife to push in the edges and flatten the front it should help shape it up. If that even makes sense haha

    I just ordered some greenstuff. I‘m trying to do a mullet for the phobos lieutenant, turn him into Solid Snake. You said to make a little sausage for hair. My marine will have much longer hair, than your Space Wolf, so do I just roll a slightly longer sausage to apply it to the head?

    How Strong is this Stuff, and does it Dry Up Good Enough not to Break Easy???

    • @JamsMiniMods
      @JamsMiniMods  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Usually it's a bit rubbery when it dries.. So it will bend quite a bit before snapping. But of course, it just depends on what you're making.
      Also, if you put more blue into the mix it will be harder.. More yellow it will be softer.
