The MDA Labor Day Telethon was an enchanting yearly variety show that ran for half a century. Hosted for many years by Jerry Lewis, the telethon featured top stars from the world of music, comedy, and Broadway and was like no other show on earth.
The telethon was created to help support the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which is leading the fight against muscular dystrophy. MDA dedicates itself to strength, independence and life. To learn more about MDA and to donate, please visit www.MDA.org.

I’m so glad all four of the girls grew up to be intelligent, mature, respectable, and classy women and didn’t have their lives ruined by drugs, drama, and alcohol like so many other child stars have. I'm glad the girls are skating for a great cause. But, this reminds me of skating in the 80s ice skating/roller skating was really popular. My class used to always skate around Christmas break. And, I never could go..I can't skate, I have CP. So unfortunately, I always got/& felt left out on these trips..I just remember skating being really popular back then..
