Nancy McKeon was absent during two episodes of Season 6 of the Facts of Life. Apparently she was striking some sort of protest because she deserved more money than she was being paid. After two days she returned to set. This is because NBC claimed she was in breach of contract. However, they were able to talk things out and Nancy was given a significant pay raise. She also helped the other cast members get a raise as well.
1:54 Blair just LOVES doing that to Jo when she’s “insulting” her did the same thing in that episode where Blair’s guy “friend” tried to take advantage of Jo. (Season 2)
Ahhh, thank you so much! I found your compilations recently and I’ve been eagerly awaiting the one for season 6! That scene from Cruisin’ specifically is so insane, every time I watch it I can’t believe they’re not canon 😭
Season 6 also has a lot of my favorite moments between them in general, mostly because it’s the era I think Jo was at her most handsome, especially with her hair down 🥰

Lisa Welchel was a born-again Christian in this episode (and in fact in EVERY episode), and am very POSITIVE that even if they did those kind of shows back then, that wouldn't have even CONSIDERED it! And by the way, Nacy Mceon is almost a Christian (well, Catholic), and I'm positive she wouldn't have considered it either, so maybe you should GROW UP!!!!

🤩 fun fact, IRL Mindy and Nancy are the same age. Lisa is 3 yrs older than them, but on the show Nancy played Lisa’s age group.
