Vaseline is just like adding a layer of oil on your lips to help lock in the moisture. It doesn't hydrate lips at all and I don't like it's texture at all. I use Maybelline lip balm. It is good it hydrates the lips.

I don't even know how I ended up searching that stuff. Oh- I remember now, but it's really unrelated.
I saw some articles where burt bees is being accused of 'harmful chemicals'. I didn't dig into the whole thing so if you're interested then you should search for it yourself

I wonder if you two might like the are Revlon Lustrous Lipsticks? I have a nude one. It’s not as full punch pigment as a lipstick, but more pigment than a tinted lip balm, and kinda feels like one!

I tend to lean grungier in my overall personal style, so for summer that’s like ripped shorts and band tees. I like long lasting lip products the most, especially lip stains. since I don’t do much eye shadow because of my eye shape I don’t mind a bold color.
Tinted lip balms can be pretty and good for dry and light lips but never apply it when you eat because it has some chemicals all tho it is less worse then lipstick I recommend using a little or a little extra if you want if ypur lips are dry and need some color try looking for tinted lip balms that are good for dry lips if your finding good ones under 10 $ try honests, tinted lim balm or e.l.f also has good tinted ones or Clinique but always do research and make sure you check if there ok for your age or lips but if you just want regular lip balm try Vaseline, Burt’s bee, bioderma,Nivea,sun bum,laneige’s lip sleeping mask also if you lips are dry try lip scrubs and exfoliate a little but I recommend not to do it on skin it could really damage your skin barrier and you’ll break out your skin won’t be healthy so I recommend to never exfoliate a lot or the best thing is not to do it at all but if you do only do it once a week and be very gentle and drink a lot of water it’s good for lips and your body hoped this helped :)
the burt’s bees tinted lip balm is heaven! it gives off such a dewy sheen and also has amazing colour coverage. it also comes in many different shades, it’s one of my favorite carry-on’s!!
The Shiseido lipstick balm is also great. I use it alternately with my Tarte Juicy lip. Hope you can feature some OG Japanese cosmetics like Shiseido and Koh gen do on your channel too as I think they’re pretty underrated.

There are darker shades that will definitely work on you

What I do is apply vaseline to my lip and get a red lip sticks and blend the two
