When I do my reaction videos I don't press pause because I don't want to interrupt the natural flow of the music as it was originally intended by the artist. I try to vocalise my thoughts in real time as I listen to the song, and then summarise my reaction afterwards.

It's an instrumental -- Saiki's vocal chords make a great instrument. It started life as an instrumental, but Saiki wanted to sing along so Miku wrote some words. That's why a lot of the words are filler words (Yeah, yeah, and La-La and Wo-Wo). Saiki is just playing her vocal chords along with the other stringed instruments.
Even until the end, after Akane poked her tongue out at Saiki & made her vocals break into a small laugh she was still pulling faces at Kanami during the outro :)

Members were taking turns to distract Akane. You can see Miku go up briefly, and then soon after, with a jerk of her head, signalling Misa to go up and distract Akane. And of course Saiki has a go at distracting Saiki, only to be distracted by her.
Akane did rimshots on the Tom's as well as the Snare. You can see her when Saiki is trying to make her mess up, instead Akane made Saiki laugh. You can hear it in her voice as she bends down.
For Band Maid instrumentals, you should hear 'Without Holding Back'.
It's there ultimate instrumental in my opinion
MISA!!! MISA!!! MISA!!! 🥃🥃🥃 the real beauty of this song is that Miku has finally been able to keep up with her sisters MISA and Kanami. Starting with 0 guitar skills in 2013 to getting her own Signature Zemaitis guitar. That's impressive dedication 🤙🏼
The way the song rings out at the end continues into the beginning of Domination (Live).

You made some good points Steve. This was originally an instrumental but Saiki wanted in. And you see the result. Band-Maid doesn't showoff, they only show you what AWESOME Rock music sounds like when they integrate and compose music the way they do. All to the benefit of the listener and watcher. FUN. FUN. FUN. Miku’s guitar journey has given us SPECTACULAR songs in that Kanami will write her practice compositions to learn a new technique or riff style but then it’s so good that it becomes a Band Maid masterpiece.💪🏻🤘🏻
This segues into 'Domination' - and this was over 20 songs into the gig.
Without Holding Back is another great instrumental.

This song was originally an instrumental, in the plans, but Saiki heard it and really wanted to write lyrics for it. So, in the end became a regular song on the album.

This was originally written as an instrumental until Saiki heard it and said this would be a great song WITH vocals, so she set Miku out to write them and here we are....... and instrumental with vocals.....Lol!

DUDE, you have just started. LIVE ALWAYS..... ONSET, Moratorium, Manners, Matchless GUM (if you can find it), Alone, Blooming. I have been blasting these ladies for the last two years and about 80 songs on random.

This song was SUPPOSED to be an instrumental, but Saiki liked it so much that she asked Miku to add lyrics to it.
I've heard 3 different versions of this. The first is as you have said, the second was Kanami and Miku had this instrumental they wanted to put on the album but the record company balked, so Miku wrote some quick lyrics for it to get it approved. The third was it was an instrumental but Saiki as she heard it said "I'm hearing lyrics" or something to that effect, and a few parts were rewritten and Miku worked up some lyrics with Saiki and thus Play was brought forth. I'd prefer the third version, but I believe the second version most.
This song started out as an instrumental but they changed it to involve the crowd. Japanese audiences don’t usually sing along unless it’s a call and response. They are great musicians.
It was an instrumental , but Saiki liked it and wanted to be part of it , Saiki asked Miku to write lyrics for it , when you do Thrill do the original MV from 2014 .
Band-Maid instrumentals are classy but hey, they have Sai-chan....she trumps even a nuclear arsenal for impact, so it's a no-brainer to have her everywhere, every time.....or maybe now just confusing this with my dreams, still the Maids just simply....Play!

A performance like that is hard to beat. Hey if you want to listen to something interesting do "Isabel: a report to an academy" by Major Parkinson (if anything i'm sure it's great first impressions material), i discovered them 2 years ago and instantly become a fan.

It's strange to see your selection of music. At first I thought you started out on the main road with a lot of views, but gradually you started choosing songs with a bit of a twist and the views stopped growing. I think you have returned to the main road this time, so I hope the number of views will increase.
