Brett, if you put a buffing wheel in place of the wire wheel, you can get those tail pipes very close to chrome. As you know, we have S/S window trims. 😁
Well done on the Porsche Brett. Just back to basic checks. Happy Christmas to you and your family. Good that you reduced the fleet a bit. I have my cars farmed out too and shuffle them around.
Really enjoyable video, thank you. I’m kinda hoping now you’ve cleared out a couple of cars and made some room we might be treated to a new purchase/project in the new year maybe? Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Good to move on a couple of cars you have rescued and revived.. hope the new Rover 75 owner spends what's needed on it. You still have a great XJ-S fleet, the Gold one is lovely though the steering wheel is just wrong !
Hi mate great channel..Just bought (2 months ago) a pretty decent XJ6 1981 in Melbourne, all the rear IRS was removed and rebuilt, few other jobs sorted. Went straight through the roadworthy which is a miracle in Victoria. But unfortunately Im going to have to sell her as Im stuck for parking after losing the lock up garage I had her in... If anyone reading the comments is looking for a decent Jag in Melbourne let me know.. I can get another roadworthy if required. Thanks.
Hi there tjm I also love 70s jags and have several 2 × xj12c 2 × xj12l 1× vanderplas 1× xk8 1× xjs I would love to chat I do all the work myself and are based at Taree Love the channel Thanks rob
I hope you didn't use a steel wire wheel on the stainless. I'm not a metallurgist, but I think you have to re-passivate stainless steel if you use ferrous tools on it.
Hi Brett what a great video cudos on the Porsche how the mechanic missed such basic stuff I don't know there is a free PDF all about XJS if you Google Jag Help you should find it by a man named Kirby full of great tip and how to's and it's free I hope you and wifey have a great Christmas and a Happy new year I understand why you parted with some of your cars still sad to see them go as always best wishes Andy Allen & Sue Koenig my wifey
Every petrolhead needs a mate like you Brett...... Top work on your mates Porsche.👍
Thanks 👍
Thanks for the shout out! Nice update. I also love getting into a car I haven't driven for months, feels like a new car.
We havent seen Anna in ages... I knew she would fire up straight away!
So you're back then , we can call off the search crew. Nothing wrong with a bit of Porsche or such-like, it's all good viewing. Love all your stuff.
Thank you for the chirping birds in the background, those of us far away miss those noises.
Great update of the fleet. Happy new year, look forward to future videos.
My guess is Pete played with the Porsche after getting it back from the mechanic!
😁 Could possibly the case. Never thought of that!

Two xjc’s are not enough. I only have two of them.

Thanks for the tip!
