Thank you for your assistance in the matter regardless, and I appreciate the shout out to the original one who created a guide for those of us trying to play this game again. Despite the fact that it doesn’t work for me, others seem to be in operational condition - it’s good to see the community helping each other dust off their boots.
Just as an update May 2023. Was having this server issue. Did the full tutorial and… it still works! What I will say is I had to restart the game 4 times and eventually it worked - each time make sure to select ‘No’ on the Uplay prompt so it does not relink your account. As I said I tried to connect 3 times and got the same server issue as before but my advice is to follow the video and keep restarting if it’s not working

for those asking, only thing you’ll lose is all the Uplay items you’ve redeemed over the years, but these are simply reinstated once you link your account back! Edit: only thing I’ve noticed that’s kinda weird when relinking is sometimes it doesn’t let me through the website, and I have to do it through a Ubisoft game that has Uplay.

Thanks, recently my brother and I tried to play together, it made me so mad that error, even the game shows you a Message that says “online, all the online functions available” and it wasn’t, my brother had the same error with Valhalla, he couldn’t play the game
so here’s my problem, i just can’t claim any of the ubisoft club rewards. it says they’re claimed on the ubisoft club app but in the game they’re not claimed. i think that’s because i’ve never gone online on the account before. so if i do everything you just showed me, will i automatically get my club rewards?

Is this for ps4 only? because i am playing on ps5 and i still have the error code. Edit: it worked after reclosing application. I recommend closing it 3 times bc thats when it worked for me. Restart process if needed.

It worked for me for one mission and then it kicked me out again, if this is a problem on ubisofts end why arent they fixing it? Furthermore what should i do, try reinstalling the game? Edit: after restarting the game multiple times i finally got it to work and im not linking it back together cuz its not worth the uplay items.. i dont understand why isn't ubi fixing this? It doesn’t fix the matchmaking issue. I know there’s still several players playing this game yet I can never match with anybody. My gf and I can’t even join the achiever because it will always say “failed to join session”.

I unlinked my account but that didn’t work. I ended up linking my account back and that still didn’t work. The Solution I found was simply walking into one of the social clubs. I walked right in one and it just said all online actions were restored. So give it a try if this video doesn’t work for you. Just simply fast travel to a social club and walk around inside until it gives a message saying “online has been restored”. I hope this helps someone!
I'm stuck in account management I'm sure my stuff is right and I rather not get locked out or have to reset it again when chances of connecting to their servers is low in the end. This game is not worth it..
It could be just me, but whenever I disconnect my Ubisoft account and then go into the game, I get the same screen/message as if I never disconnected my account. I do however still get the question asking If I want to connect my account when I click the “Continue” button
I'd say restart the game until it works and if it doesn't then just leave the game open for a while cos that sometimes helps, if not then just try again another day, it just doesn't work some days

Yeah, that sometimes happens, what I find works is just stay in the game for a little while and hopefully it'll connect in a little while, if that doesn't work, try reopening the game a few times or just try again another day

It doesn't work like that! Indeed, the only way you can play co-op, in Unity, is to unlink the Ubisoft account from the console, but ... that's it. If you try to link it back, the error will reappear. And, of course, you can't benefit from the Uplay rewards!

When it asks you if you want to connect just say no
I unlinked my account but that didn’t work. I ended up linking my account back and that still didn’t work. The Solution I found was simply walking into one of the social clubs. I walked right in one and it just said all online actions were restored. So give it a try if this video doesn’t work for you. Just simply fast travel to a social club and walk around inside until it gives a message saying “online has been restored”. I hope this helps someone!

I'm stuck in account management I'm sure my stuff is right and I rather not get locked out or have to reset it again when chances of connecting to their servers is low in the end. This game is not worth it..

@@thedankside9954 I made it through their servers, but there's only 3 missions that players are active on I was going after the Visited once trophy

August 2024, PS5, doesn't work.
It could be just me, but whenever I disconnect my Ubisoft account and then go into the game, I get the same screen/message as if I never disconnected my account. I do however still get the question asking If I want to connect my account when I click the “Continue” button
You don't need it to show up, it will still work either way

I tried this and it’s still saying Ubisoft services are unreachable with the error code [0x70000006] I’ve made sure I unlinked and still nothing
I'd say restart the game until it works and if it doesn't then just leave the game open for a while cos that sometimes helps, if not then just try again another day, it just doesn't work some days

Whatever update they did to Uplay, it screw up everything up for older games.
Idk why but for some reason it try and play multiplayer and it doesn’t work because it just loads for ever and it says it can’t find anyone Ubisoft is shit

Y’all for my AC Unity I am not able to connect to the Shell so contact list for my contacts to go online it says it’s currently off-line and he keeps giving me an error signal when I click on it I wanted to know if the online services have been shut down

Uh, ubisoft is unlinked from my AC Unity, but Im still having difficulty. Its still giving me errors.
Yeah, that sometimes happens, what I find works is just stay in the game for a little while and hopefully it'll connect in a little while, if that doesn't work, try reopening the game a few times or just try again another day
@@thedankside9954 Got it! It works, thank you so much, I appreciate it! I love AC Unity, and I thought they shut it down all this time. I wish Ubisoft will fix this problem, it'll be a hassle to link and unlink Uplay.

Make sure the accounts are always unlinked and then restart the game until it works
It doesn't work like that! Indeed, the only way you can play co-op, in Unity, is to unlink the Ubisoft account from the console, but ... that's it. If you try to link it back, the error will reappear. And, of course, you can't benefit from the Uplay rewards!
