I'm finding that they start popping up after you can craft your first tier 6 item. Right after I got the ability to make t6 stone tools I found my first part. Maybe it's a coincidence.
Nerdy armor and Nomad helmet makes you look like Darth Researcher. As for acid, break the medical cabinets, and I had good luck finding acid in janitor carts.
Now that you have finished the harvest challenges, we get B312 with - Removed required held item from harvest challenges Tagged more harvestable props for some harvest challenges
I was suffering the same the other day. Then yesterday they (fun) pimp slapped my shitty rural internet's balls with a 7GB update and that was one of the things they fixed. 5 hours of downloading a single update well spent I guess?
That ensemble was looking rather chic before you put on the raider outfit, I fully expect to see something similar on the Paris or Milan catwalks next season.
I think the "AI-enabled" mods are kinda silly. Who uses AI in the damn apocalypse? Unless we're gonna start making 7 Days futuristic and in that case give me a damn laser minigun before you give me AI, unless it's an actual sci-fi fully sapient AI that can run my junk drone so it can carry a gun while also being a sarcastic jerk. EDI, probe Uranus and kill that zombie with the Normandy's main gun!
I dont get why TFP had to make ALL the zombies look like theyre drenched in mud, they have a perfect overlooked character creation system that they could just plug into the zombies with parameters. I dont think you can count on anything from the fun pimps it seems, though
It was me! I told you you couldn’t do it!!! My bad. I think there was a conflict with a different mod. Maybe the looting/exp/radius reduction goggles? Either way, I am happy to see that it worked for you and you made a correction. Great episode!
It’s worth carrying a nerdy outfit in your inventory to put on anytime you read a book. Carrying books home will always cost more inventory than just keeping the nerdy outfit with you during the day.
for the zombie killing challenge I got to pick from legendary weapon bundles and in case anyone didnt know if you go full daring adventurer you can pick 2 from the challenge rewards as well.
Genuinely I think that Farming is insanely valuable if you can get it setup earlier on in your playthrough. I went and make a farm for cotton and was able to get so much cloth by just playing the game and normal and then harvesting it when it was done. If you have higher quality Farming Chestplate and Boots it makes it even better as you get more harvest per plant as well as a way higher chance of getting the seed back
Rekt was selling a water filter for the dew collectors in my game from the start but it's 7500 dukes. I was also given it as a reward option for finishing tier 4.
Once I find someplace I'm going to live for a while or on a route I travel a lot, I tend to wrench down all the vehicles in the way, whether or not they'd give me fuel. Heck - at least you get iron and/or assorted bits from them. :D Er - might also be because I've a tendency to get distracted and run into stuff.
I have found the best source of cloth in 1.0 are teh wild cotton plants. Now that 1 cotton makes 1 cloth, with 1 point in living off the land each cotton plant is worth 2 cloth. Since the update each cloth bandage now scraps into 7 cloth.
For easy/fast POIs that have medical loot (and things like "meth labs"), I would suggest Morticians House (has a fair number of meth labs, medical cabinets, and also has a lot of bodies to get rotten flesh/bones), Judie Witch (which has meth labs in the first room along with mushrooms to harvest in 2 areas so you can start growing those too), and I think Johnnytown has a bunch of meth labs at the end, just before the end loot room (I could be wrong about this one). Also remember to check your trader to see if they have these POIs in the offers (also check for infested version in the next tier if you have access) so you can easily double loot a portion that has the meth labs.
The Judy Witch house ( the one with all the mushrooms in the basement has a lot of the chemistry kits...thats where I go for acid...also can confirm sinks can drop acid.
In my experience, the best way of finding acid is from medical cabinets as long as you have the wasteland treasures Vol 3 book. Go to any "full'" medical cabinet, interact with it but leave at least one item in it so it's NOT updated to the empty version of it and use any salvage tool. It's insane how well it works!! Plus by interacting with it first you get to keep any medical items it may contain. This works on ANY medical item but cabinets have the best chance. IMPORTANT NOTE: i haven't tested it in 1.0 and don't know if it still works!!
Lucky looter effects your chance to get honey from stumps. Acid tier 1 poi is the one you looked at. Tier 3 is the one with the pig boss under the cage. Tier 2 the cartel house. All hospital poi
P, you haven’t seen any water filters? Rekt in my game has sold them every reset since day one. They cost 6000 dukes so wasn’t really worth the cost early game.
still blows my mind that they removed all the clothes from the game, and completely rendered 1 of the main survival mechanics completly dead. weather cold/heat.
idk if it still does it but you used to get acid by taking a wrench to an unsearched wall-mounted white medicine chests and those counter top chemistry sets. It might have been you'd get it by using an ax on it - I'd have to test on it to see what it does now.
I feel that after harvesting trees completely, it should have a chance to leave a tree stump behind, thus a chance for honey. The problem, however, is that that makes too much sense and that's a big no no for the funpimps.
you only need the gloves/head of the miner set, the chest is nice but not worth it. For harvest you only need chest/gloves miner gloves/had and lumberjack you need EVERYTHING tier 6. (for max. efficiency)
I was one and that said couldn't do the mod with cigar but i didnt check if the treasure hunter mod effected it saw what you did and checked all the mods and it worked when i took that off sorry for the misinformation but that will effect if people dont want the 10% exp and loot stage instead of plus 1 to a attribute
Im finding its cloth... sooooo much cloth.. ive 500 glue from 8 dew collectors and bones ... its the cloth .. i refuse to punch grass or punch cotton looking for a tall apartment building lol but im at t6 items that need so much duct tape
Can you turn the challenge completes into any of the traders? If so, do you think you might be getting the food-based skill books because you are turning them into Rekt specifically?
Each challenge just has its own pool it can draw from, just rng. Similar to how trader quests used to work with fetch giving you a tool and clears giving you weapon options
@@Slim_Sumo I'd figure the challenge completes of those would still give magazines. I'm just curious that if he were to turn them into Jen he'd get medical journals in there more often, or if he turned them into Bob he'd get more vehicle/scrapping, ect.
@@HavartiCamembertI saved most of my challenges til I got to Bob and it wasn't much different (i was hoping for car books or a minibike part), but it would be interesting to test if the pool changes based on the trader, you'd have to complete like 4 rows of challenges at least 10 times at each trader to make a fair assessment of it though and I'm not sure I have that in me :D , guess I could console command challenge completions... maybe I'll try it after work 🤔
@@Slim_Sumo yeah, that does sound like a lot of work. It was just a thought given the two we saw him turn in both had food related books. It could be a complete coincidence too.
@@HavartiCamembert I got cooking and farming from Bob for the first 3 rows of challenges, not sure how much that says overall tho. Will definitely be doing some testing over the holiday weekend.
You mentioned previously you were delaying the experience gain of horde night by not participating in it. By the same thinking, would it be a good idea to not cash in your challenges for XP until you wanted the boost?
That's just because the cigar was a different slot before this version. It was a neck/face slot, where all the others were Eyewear. It was always like that, you could wear strength goggles with cigar, or int gogs with cigar, or xp gogs with cigar. I do wish the xp+loot mod and cigar shared the same mod slot in this one though since nothing else conflicts with the cigar.
i had to scrap alot of cars too for that challenge. also my challenges kept breaking. unless you can only get the challenge for the cars with cars that are lootable. meaning the broken cars dont work. because ive gotten like 6 or 7 radiators on the broken down non lootable cars and it wouldnt progress
I started playing this new season of 7days to die and... damn the whole focus on questing to progress is horrible, this used to be a fun voxel survival, now its sad.

I can confirm legendary parts are found in clothing containers. I’ve found one in a dresser and another in a washing machine.
Also in any container that had the chance for armors.
finding a Savage Country is a freaking gold mine for armor parts, sewing kits, and legendary parts
