The only caveat about going into the Burned Forest biome, even early game, is that it is only a matter of time before a Dire Wolf spawns. New players are going to have a tough time dealing with zombie dogs. They aren't going to stand a chance against a giant demon wolf.
This is why stealth builds are better for new players. They will die more often but will learn the zombie AI triggers and more importantly how to spot them when you haven't triggered them. With the new clothing items stealth actually becomes more viable to even though on a multiplayer server everyone now looks the same since dyes and customisation went out the window with the new gears.

Well that used to be a thing. A lot of a things used to be a thing like lootable zombies (not random drop bags) Or clothing customisation with 8 clothing slots that could all be modded. (you now have 4 and the set bonuses are kinda single purpose) The list goes on.
Most important lesson of the series "TFP actively hate the average player" - checks out after playing since A14. If new players try understanding why some things are how they are in the game, just assume TFP ignored common sense and only listened to the feedback in their own little echo chamber.
Nice. I got a couple of crucibles in Trader‘s forges but that was right after 1.0 came out and the fixed it so that won’t happen I believe. I’d rather have the tarp because it helps quicker
For that grill (and any other workstation tool): You can simply put it into its slot on the campfire, you can place a full stack there. This has no effect, but doesn't need extra space in a chest and you know where to find it if you want to make a second campfire one day.
Wait people don't make 2 campfires? I always make two : 1 grill and one with grill and pot. I might put in a pot on the food only campfire if i need glue but waiting for either food or water to get done so you can get food or water is silly to me.

That is because TFP made it so the treasure hunter mod multiplies your looting persk/skill x rogue armor. It will be patched later down the line to the point it probably devides instead of multiplies though.

The super savage country POIs have been giving me around 6 legendary parts mid-game (day 25ish, level 50ish) with the 7/7 book completion bonus. The T6 completion legendary part seems a bit irrelevant to me. That change in 1.0 does mean that savage countries should always get looted. Similarly, with the high amount of parts that you need for making tier 6 guns now means actually needing to loot shotgun messiah after putting points into the gun you want. Previously I always skipped looting those POIs.

That's because grilled meat and most canned food only restore 10 hunger apiece. That one bacon and eggs was about equal to those three canned food combined. With how often you need to regen health and stamina, you basically have to keep food on you at all times and eat as soon as you get hungry. The longer you neglect it, the harder it is to dig yourself out of that hunger debt, so it's much better to carry bacon and eggs and eat one as soon as you get hungry.
