Have you thought about a wooden ladder hanging from the ceiling acting as both a shelf and place to place/hang plants from? I am planning this as an extension of my growing space.
It's what being space challenged, and seeing my husbands wooden ladder collection in the shed got me thinking, and although new to indoor plants and following you on Instagram, I really love them.

Elizabeth Duecker Thanks. I only have a south facing window. My windows are floor to ceiling so it’s enough to reach all the way to the back of my place. South facing does give me a lot of options on the plants I can have. 😊 although I wish I had a skylight window. Haha

We have a lot of plants, white walls are the backdrop, but no matter how many, we think we always need 'more plants'! I love tending to them and telling them how beautiful and clever they are :-) It's so good for the soul!
Luv ur collection! Try to get the pencil cactus...Also, I would hang individual plant shelves from the ceiling or a home made ( pipe) curtain rod and thick rope on your bedroom windows, it will add a rustic touch to your modern style, maybe using glass shelves if possible. You can try covering the side windows only if you want to have bare window in the middle. I prefer the light filtering through the plants for a forest feel. Just an idea. Great to see you got the Neon Pothos Christian. Your new plant collection is awesome! I do have a question. I have a large hanging Pothos with heart shaped leaves. Its hanging near a wall. I noticed that it started to climb up the wall!! It started growing these odd "feelers" for lack of a better word. It literally attaches itself to the wall, so far it has reached the ceiling!! Have you ever seen that? I had no idea that Pothos did that. lol
Patricia Grant I’ve never seen it, but it sounds so cool. And I’m not surprised because Pothos trail and they have aerial roots so they will latch and can be trained to climb up on walls. 😊

Quick question for you - my monstera has been getting brown spots on new leaf growths and it has been growing very slowly. Any ideas why? I think it may be due to the lack of lighting.

Ashley Marquez Thank you. I actually don’t use fertilizer in most of my plants. If you will use one, use it only during the growing season, once a mont. a well balance liquid plant food is good. But do research as some plants require different mix. Good luck. 🌿💚

I give mine all go bright light. Some direct sun light as well. I use well draining soil and water him when he’s 100% dry. You can grow them taller by separating them and have them in bigger pot.

Nad I find these two are the easiest ones for me. The Calathea ornata on the other hand is giving me issues. Get a humidifier or take them in the shower when you have hot showers once a week. 😊
omg,...I so loved this tour of your beautiful home with your healthy wonderful plants! I think I stopped breathing when you showed the Calathea table with that amazing art. What a relief they are all thriving! I was afraid it was yet another plant tour with half dead plants to only make me feel awful! lol I actually group my humidity loving plants together and use a humidifier. I hardly ever use my AC, because it gets so humid in NYC my plants love it. You have such lovely windows to let all the light bathe them. I wanted to add,...a shelving unit adjacent to your bed would be an ideal location. The TV wall probably gets less light that your bed wall? One or two floating shelves on the left side of the TV with the shelving unit on the left side of your bed to balance the room? Can’t wait for the next tour! IKEA shelves they look really nice and you can also get two BESTA UNIT one in each side of the TV so you only have to drill two holes in the wall and you can put multiple shelves and it would match your apartment perfectly sort of inexpensive I say sort of because it depends on the ones you get I got my in the AS IS SECTION and I love them love your channel

Hi Nick. Beautiful plants. I love the string of hearts. I bought 2 and 1 completely died because it was infested with bugs. The other one I bought from a different nursery and I keep it in a hanging container very close to a south facing window. I noticed the leaves at the top where very lush, but most have turned yellow and mushy. The strings themselves have the heart shaped leaves but the longer the vine gets the tinier the leaves appear. It does however grow the flower bulbs. Just wanted to know if you could offer any advice on care. I don't water it that often, not sure what to do. I love her and I want her to survive. Help! And where did you say you purchased yours? Thanks so much.

May Chia That’s awesome. Glad to hear your Calatheas are doing well. My cat only eats the spider and ponytail palm. Which I don’t mind because they are safe for them. The rest she leaves alone. If you have a cat that bothers your plants use a spray bottle and spray your cat with water when they are doing things they shouldn’t be. They’ll learn not to bother certain plants.

I am about to make myself a galvanized pipe entertainment center. Specifically to really show case my plants. Would look great in your set up and show casing all your plants. Its cost effective too. I suggest looking on pinterest if you need ideas for layout but a floor to ceiling shelves around your t.v. will look awesome along wall where you already have existing t.v. in my opinion. Hope this helps.

how are you keeping your calathea stromanthe and lacinfolia humid? i have the very same two and mine are going through some rough times. Ive had them for four months and just recently they started to give me trouble. Much love to your plant babies.
Nad I find these two are the easiest ones for me. The Calathea ornata on the other hand is giving me issues. Get a humidifier or take them in the shower when you have hot showers once a week. 😊

omg,...I so loved this tour of your beautiful home with your healthy wonderful plants! I think I stopped breathing when you showed the Calathea table with that amazing art. What a relief they are all thriving! I was afraid it was yet another plant tour with half dead plants to only make me feel awful! lol I actually group my humidity loving plants together and use a humidifier. I hardly ever use my AC, because it gets so humid in NYC my plants love it. You have such lovely windows to let all the light bathe them. I’m so happy for you!!! 😄🤩

I wanted to add,...a shelving unit adjacent to your bed would be an ideal location. The TV wall probably gets less light that your bed wall? One or two floating shelves on the left side of the TV with the shelving unit on the left side of your bed to balance the room? Can’t wait for the next tour! I just bought a baby string of hearts, please do a care video.

Gloria Perez I usually will mix cacti soil and regular potting soil with perlite to help with drainage. 😊

IKEA shelves they look really nice and you can also get two BESTA UNIT one in each side of the TV so you only have to drill two holes in the wall and you can put multiple shelves and it would match your apartment perfectly sort of inexpensive I say sort of because it depends on the ones you get I got my in the AS IS SECTION and I love them love your channel

Hi Nick. Beautiful plants. I love the string of hearts. I bought 2 and 1 completely died because it was infested with bugs. The other one I bought from a different nursery and I keep it in a hanging container very close to a south facing window. I noticed the leaves at the top where very lush, but most have turned yellow and mushy. The strings themselves have the heart shaped leaves but the longer the vine gets the tinier the leaves appear. It does however grow the flower bulbs. Just wanted to know if you could offer any advice on care. I don't water it that often, not sure what to do. I love her and I want her to survive. Help! And where did you say you purchased yours? Thanks so much.

Thanks. I get most of my pots from either Ikea, CB2 , Plant World, Structube and sometimes Walmart.

Your home is a relaxing, inviting space, but I would live on your patio... love the outdoors. May I suggest you watch another You Tube channel called "Summer Rayne". Her apartment is wall-to-wall, floor to ceiling plants, over 600 plants. Oh, and she has a pet chicken instead of a cat. I would love to see a tour of your outdoors.

Wandy Gonzalez yes...sometimes your Walmart will surprise you. I use a liquid plant food 15-10-15 on my Monstera once a month.

May Chia That’s awesome. Glad to hear your Calatheas are doing well. My cat only eats the spider and ponytail palm. Which I don’t mind because they are safe for them. The rest she leaves alone. If you have a cat that bothers your plants use a spray bottle and spray your cat with water when they are doing things they shouldn’t be. They’ll learn not to bother certain plants.

I am about to make myself a galvanized pipe entertainment center. Specifically to really show case my plants. Would look great in your set up and show casing all your plants. Its cost effective too. I suggest looking on pinterest if you need ideas for layout but a floor to ceiling shelves around your t.v. will look awesome along wall where you already have existing t.v. in my opinion. Hope this helps.
