Hi m8. Iv seen the negative reviews about the tank but if you notice it's from players that are used to playing a tank that controls the game.
I find a decent heavy team mate ,work with it and it's been a lot of fun concidering I'm a solo player mainly.
I got 6 kills today 🤣😂 which was hilarious and bullied a fv215b.
Is eclipse actually a super unicum? Either way he does make it look good. Don't let being old hold you back, I'm nearly 40 and play with over 300ping from Australia and I have about 3400wn8 with 4-5k recents, 60percent wins.

Still, at my age and physical condition, the Caliban is not for me.
I only play WOTC for fun... and since I don't give a damn about winrate and other stats, I see no reason to play a tank that I gotta invest a lot of time and effort into just to make it kinda sorta work. Not my thing.

And, I certainly don't let "being old" hold me back. What holds me back is being terminally ill, physically impaired, legally blind, nearly deaf, and very, very sick most of the time.
Still, I have played this game for several hours a day, every day, for over five years now. I've played more than 43,000 battles. I own something like 400 tanks. I know how to play the game; being physically able to do so is another matter entirely.
I play this game for fun. Period. I couldn't possibly care less what my stats are, especially my winrate, because it isn't just me... there are 14 other players on my "team" who should be reasonably expected to do at least *something* to contribute to getting a win!
According to my doctors, I wasn't even expected to live to see the New Year (2022)... and here it is, late August, so I think I can safely say that my doctors were *wrong* in their "professional opinion."
I play this stupid little toy tank game to pass the time while I wait to die. It's not much, but it does relieve the boredom... somewhat. I don't take any of this "seriously." It's a *game* and nothing more.
I'm sure that you meant well, and that you were trying to cheer me up, or to give me confidence in my ability to improve my gameplay, or something of the like. Thank you. But my abilities are limited, and my time is short; I'm hyper aware of the gravity of my situation.
And now, so are you.

Iv seen some other CCS calling it garbage and a meme tank. I get the meme bit but it's a load of fun and makes players have to think.
Iv started playing with single shot as the temptation to fire both was to great and I ended up in trouble.
Iv tried a few different equipment set ups and opted for vents,gun layingdrive and stabiliser for single shot.

I'm 40k battles deep with 3200 win8. I have recently moved to cold war though as I had basically quit the game after years of ww2. ll Jackie Chan xbox if you want to tell me weather I'm real or not g? I'd be interested to hear your interpretation of my stats

You know yourself and don't need others to tell u, if players have got unicum status by being selective which times , amounts of games and limiting tanks played it's only you that they are fooling nobody else.
Myself iv played about 30k+ battles in 2 years on my main account. Even though I'd played before I didn't have a clue. This account was my first, I was 5k battles before I realised we could autolock/aim, it's got 800+ tanks Inc all my early tanks 100s . All the high tiers I skipped to and did absolutely shite, all the Prems I bought but couldn't play properly , all my mistakes are on this account and are a record of me playing and improving. I play multiple tanks daily, I only go for marks when a tank is about 1% away which can take a long time as I only play a couple games a day in each tank. I play tanks I'm useles in as it's fun, I test armour , I test tanks, I play varying times of day, I don't platoon often, everything I do is the opposite of what I should do to improve my stats. But
Even though my stats are purple daily,30, 90 majority my overall is blue as it should be, I know I'm not a s uni and it'll be another 10 -15k games at least untill my overall says I'm a s uni and I'll probably continue playing exactly as I do.
I bought the Caliban last night.. My only real beef with the Caliban is the shell speed(325mps)... I could of sworn I noticed enemy tanks moving out the way before the shell got there.
you weren't mistaken. thats actually what happens at certain distances. it for medium to close range if you want guaranteed hit.

@@BOX3DOUT to be honest with the reload time I'd be afraid to get to close... I've already had a few gang r*pe fights that didn't go well for me in it.
Nice review as always, shame that you have internet connenction issues though.
I use the advanced loader to swap shell types without incurring a penalty. The only caveat is that you must have both shells loaded if you are using the auto-reloader. Otherwise it doesn't work and you have to reload all over again. Being able to swap between AP and HESH is a big advantage. The single-shot doesn't have that limitation, and has overall better dpm (but not by a lot). Some people might prefer the single-shot for that reason, but I like having that second shell to use quickly for the finisher in a brawling situation. And, let's face it. the Caliban is a brawler-support tank.
My equipment is: Atgm ammo thing, vents and the aiming speed one.
Is mercenary tanks available to purchase with silver I bought the Jammer for 2.7 millon but went to get the cruncher and the option ain't available can anyone help

When you complete a contract then sell the tank you can buy it back for silver n you don’t have to complete the contract again 👍
Same with premium tanks … when you buy one or get one for free n sell it you can get it back for silver…
I noticed the option to buy using silver too. I'm going to finish the Cruncher contract today then try to buy the Caboose and Long Reach as I'm away for 2 weeks from Saturday. Will report back. I definitely have never bought or sold the Caboose and Long Reach though.
It doesn't allow you to purchase the contracts using silver. It looks like you can but then when you go to purchase it the option isn't there.

Well I have outsmarted several players in it. with my IS6 black but on the other hand some have been able to overmatch my IS6 I feel it’s overpowered compared to the other T8 tanks at least most the base ones. but also vary weak and pathetic to players that don’t know how to play it. It’s one of the tanks that when I’m up against becomes a priority target and try to work with my team to knock him out and send him back to the garage early

Are ghost town, Abby and mines still in the game and what tiers to play those maps?
Mate they are probably remaking them in HD.
They are in the game and updated, but they were removed at high tiers. They are doing an event sometime soon where it's only close quarters maps or something similar I've heard.

Played first time in months today had a light British tank run round me firing every 3 seconds so I thought fck wargaming destroyed the game introducing light tanks now a game for 5 year olds

Iv played 20 games so far, 85% wr, 1773 AV damage, 1.3 kills.
I do have some bad games but it's a support weapon. I stay with a good heavy and either reduce the target in front of him or finish it off. This has lead to 60% survival and usually the survival of the tank I work with. I don't play in platoons so it's encouraging me to work with my team .
You will only consistently do crap in any tank if you are bad. If you have a brain and any skill at this game every tank is easy to do well in.

There’s way more stinkers at tier 8 than this thing. If you’re actually good at the game you can do consistently well in the caliban. If you’re bad then of course you’re not going to do well because it requires some level of skill and using your brain. So that tells me what kind of player you are if you think this tank is bad
@@CrazyPanda688 It's not strictly true. At some point you enter the negative mm where most games are tier10, you are 6 tanks down within the 1st couple of mins and the 2 shots you do manage to fire bounce off the sides of meds.
Iv had several games today where iv only managed to pen 1 shot and only had enough time to fire 3 shots before the games are over.
I've won 3 games out of 12 today so far but this isn't a reflection on the tank itself i would have lost those games in any tank I played. Just gotta ride the algorithm untill it switches to positive.

You have to love the derp style of wot to warrant the price. If not then I wouldn't recommend it to the majority of players.
