Why pay gold for any tank anymore? It will be given away free in an op or certainly will be on discount relatively soon.
Yeah I've bought a few and been enraged when they gave them out for free. It's no a cheap game when you start chucking gold around. I used to platoon with a guy who said he'd paid over 2 grand in real money over the years. They should also let your premium days stack when you don't log in.

Don't get me wrong... I enjoy a delightful romp in a derp tank as much as the next guy. But, the brief moments of fun are *not* worth being forced to endure pure drudgery for *most* of every game you play!

I like it because it's a derp tank (derp is love, derp is lyf) but it's not a good tank, can have massive games because of the alpha and of RNG is on your side... But that isn't often

Looks like I’ll spend my gold on the season US light tank (T41E2?). I am happy with the GSOR as well, which I believe was your suggestion as well.

what best tier 8 heavy british tank in ur opinion many thanks im returning player so been out for while new sub plus one like
i don't play it all the time; but i really like the Eradicator.........seldom do i have a bad match with it. 3 shot autoloader - not a terribly long reload and is very good on ridgelines. it also has enough speed to flank slower heavies. edit: just like most british heavies - don't expose it's lower plate.
Eradicator is very good as pointed out, it's definitely up there.
As a Heavy the Charlemagne isn't too bad, just have to get used to the bad Shell velocity.
Paladin Is good aswell because of the great DPM but wouldn't say as good as Eradicator.
@@Petty360 agree on all your thoughts. i got the charlemagne a couple months ago on special offer (4550). i love using it on ridgelines for short to mid-range shots. what i like the most is, when top tier, how much block damage i can get with i! most tier 8 matches i usually end up with 2000-4000 block with it (it almost feels like a troll tank in that regard) just the other day, i used a ridgeline on great wall. i had 5 tanks shooting at me - i ended up killing 3 with 2900 damage and 5200 block before i was finally finished off! i've used the paladin when i got it for free -ended up selling it because it's similar to the eradicator and i liked the autoloader better. i do think the charlemagne is a solid tank; but, i never tell people to buy it. it's not for the average player. i think the eradicator is a little more "user friendly" for most people. hey, thanks for the reply - love the conversation!
it is basically like the type 5 heavy but the shells are different it's British and has an auto reloading system.or the exact opposite of the gsor 1008

I have the tank on PC. Three-marked it because I am insane... But I would love to do it over again with a single-shot option. Kv2 type feel to it
It can be so many memes.
And with pc it's easier to pen peeps with the HE aswell because of the HE changes which makes it even memeier
@@Petty360 it really can be 😂 I just wish LC didn’t get rid of the splash mechanics. There was totally a viable middle ground between what we had (broken HE) vs now (small buff but major nerf in other ways)

When I tested the tank, I absolutely, utterly hated it. They did not release it as tested, they pampered it a bit; still I did not get any fun from it. And I am eclectic in my choices 🙂
It's the same as tested, horrid for the most part but memeworthily derpy
Last night I rebought this tank, no equipment or crew and managed to swing a mastery badge and top gun 4k damage 2k assist if I could share my replay, I think there's some good tips in there

It's not good on PC but it has an easier time penning it's HESH because of their HE mechanics not caring about spaced armour
Its literally more expensive then most tier 8 super heavies... Sheesh... Like I love derp here and there but there's a line wargaming. There's a line. (Not to mention terrible gun reload and aiming etc)
Also since I've now maxed out my current heavy tank lines to tier 8 (the highest tier I usually go comfortably due to silver loss rate with 9 and 10 and premium spam)
What do you recommend if I want a tank that's hard to kill (atleast frontally) and hits relatively hard? (Preferably tier 8 or lower)
Keep in mind I've played some of the slowest tanks in game so I don't mind it aslong as it's basically impenetrable from the front
There is no such tank but the mutant 8 sounds like what you are looking for, has pref match making too
For a tier 8, the O-HO after the buffs is solid for blocking and it's a derp! The VK 100.01P Is also good for blocking damage too and hits hard with 440.
Problem with 8s is 9s+10s will possibly bounce on the good armour with standard but Prem spam destroys well armoured tanks
I love this tank, I average over 3.5k and love bullying tier 10s 😂

Not sure about that, in very certain circumstances it can be deadly but they don't arise all that often, they've just removed the ammo swapper from it too which hurts it
