I love the Revel, it's size, simplicity and versatility make it a perfect 2 person, go anywhere vehicle at a reasonable price.
If you truly wanna go off-road, then it doesn't matter what you put on it, as long as it's a Uni-Mog!
But honestly, there's not one of these I wouldn't love to own!
Of course, having room for a smaller vehicle is an extra bonus!
I would be glad to live full time in any of these...if I could afford them!

Number 3. Earthroamer vehicles caught my eye a year or two ago and I've been wanting one since.
Sports classic I loved it the most.

All of them look great. If I had the cash to buy them I'd rather stick with the pick-up or van based designs simply for familiarity & lower cost (for purchasing & refueling). Like I said before if I had the money I'd definitely get one of these but I'm probably better off getting a great truck bed camper because they're cheaper & I could always modify my truck separately if I choose
If I win the lottery, I'm set. Some of these were jaw dropping.
Half though had interiors that were pretty ghastly, very industrial worksite squared off look. Some were pretty nice but imagine trying to park any of these when venturing into the city, it would be pretty impossible to find a large enough parking space.

My favorite ALL IF THEM!
Earthroamer XV LTS is my choice but rather a Powerstroke 7.3 or cummins 5.9 conversion for reliability. The Sportsmobile is a close second. I would definitely spend more time off road then on. The old tent is too much for my old bones. Man have they come a long way with these. My dad made one on a 77 F-350, he removed the bed, stretched the frame a bit, reinforced it then built a camper with my uncle. They know how to do this as their trade was building Yachts. Truck is a neat classic.

Just think for that small space it's to expensive for the average people and not everyone has a driver license for so big Adventure Campers.
I was traveling mostly alone around the world just with about 20kg. That's included a sleeping bag, clothes, tent, cocking utility, two pairs of shoes, camping mattress, two aluminum water bottle, some survival parts, pocket Knife, compas, Map, gas choker, photo camera, a diary, and some small things for the daylies life. I was traveling by Airplane, by ship, by train, by bus, by VW -Bus, by motorcycle, by bicycle, by foot to for about one year. That's the biggest life time experience I ever had.
You guys make the most professional videos on TH-cam, always enjoy watching them.

I have an Earthroamer. Only got it a little over a month ago after having a few RVs. Love it so far! Easy to drive and even get around in towns. Live in Mountains in CO and have already been to many locations around the state and in UT. Leaving for WY and Tetons next week. Because they are made not far from me its great to be able to follow up with the manufacturers and they have great customer service. Love being able to camp without the need for electricity with the solar and large water and gas tanks.

The Dodge truck camper looks great but it needs better protection around the bottom (rock sliders) and a high clearance rear bumper to protect the box. Looks designed by non offroad guys.

Any lifted 4wd Tacoma (18mpg), with a shell topper, a shell over lumber rack, pop up canopy, tailgate chairs, foldable poly table, some backpacking gear. Done. Wait...., bugspray.
We have one of those! It will go ANYwhere. If you are able to bend like an origami puppet to slide into the canopy, you can camp for months on end ! Cheers!

For me having the Sports Mobile would be my dream camper
Should I say that my patio home here in Houston TX has a tax value less than the lowest priced camper in this video, yeah I should. Though it is nice to see these campers and take note of the details and I like some of the basic configurations, they are a little over the top so to say for a camper. You could live in them though and if you needed to feel luxury, these provide that. It seems that nobody builds a diesel 4x4 class B+ fully self contained, that is something like the Coachman Starflyte. Even the Sprinter van is more than the houses where I live. The used ones have over 200K miles on them. Still looking and it seems like that is all I will be doing is looking, lol. I did enjoy the video though, maybe a lot of these are sold and I can find one used for an affordable amount.
Sportmobile will suit my requirements fine and is reasonably priced. If I was doing adventures for months at a time I may consider the more robust high end units. (very nice if money is no object!)

The Ford Sportsmobile van is amazing! And not so space age looking. I owned an f550 4x4 diesel and loved it as a work truck always thought is would make a cool conversion truck
