He wasn't kidding when he said he is they're guard dog but only 10 months. That puppy is a Caucasian Ovcharka which will turnout to be a massive dog and will do lethal damage.
That dog is just another extraction tool. When he's full-grown they can hook the winch cable to his harness and he'll pull them out of whatever hole they got stuck in (including the Labrea Tar Pits).

You are very correct , this is ultimate off grid camping a out 6 years ago i started to research this concept as a survival option. It took me 6 hours to realize not my option with these get it to the wilderness to unlikely parts yes you have a chase to survive be proficiant with weapons

B. If it hits the fan there are militia type groups , NOT MILITIA that see your multimillion dollar camper as a survival command vehicle....remember lawlessness will be evident

I was hoping it would be amphibious.
A lot of the cost is probably for the off road capability and durability of the overall components. A regular rv would be shredded trying to go down the forest service roads.

Foster Gray that pup will resemble a bear fully grown. They are starting to get popular in US . Beautiful and very smart and protective. Basically is like a super German Shepard on steroids .

Doug Evans They are called wolf killer because their primary job is to watch the Sheep 🐑. They are very loyal smart loving and protective. oh and they weight about 200 pound and suitable for ranch life style.

Spent a week at Overland Expo West in 2018 and a number of these type vehicles were there. I remember thinking how little interior space / comfort you get for your money. Maybe if you are travelling in elephant and rhino country regularly, massive size and high clearence off road capability is great to have, but for most places in North America it seems like overkill. As an aside, there was a new diesel Landcruiser expedition vehicle on display there that was set to hit the US market in the near future.
Exterior looks great.. Interior not so much, not for 500k
Well you habe to think about all the technology and suspension it needs for offroad and all that jazz yaknow so alot of cash goes into that

Agreed! Amazing doggo. Isn’t always about size though. During a break while rafting Glacier National Park a grizzly bear came out of the woods to investigate our noise I guess and a friends small grey poodle named Max wearing his little life vest charged the bear before we even knew it was there and after about a 3 second delay of the bear looking at its attacker the bear turned and ran! Max practically strutted back to us and we all got back in the rafts as fast as we could! Max was toasted many times that night by the campfire!

Lots of hype with these dogs though mate. I know this is just a puppy and its attitude will change as it matures but at 10 months, you would expect such a reputed bad ass dog breed to show some guarding instinct. All the ones i have seen have the same temperament as a labrador. Too much hype from breeders who breed these dogs for money... of course, some of these dogs are extremely bad ass but most are not what they are reported to be.
The best part of the van was this dog 😍

I ran into somebody who had one of these in Zion NP in Utah. He was a aristocratic chap who said this is what they have in Europe (if you're rich enough). It's the most amazing thing I ever saw! It is AWD, is highly off-road-able, and yet it's also a camper! And it REEKS of quality, military toughness and MONEY. I must admit I like it! But I could never spend $1/2M on a toy... Come to think of it, the guy I met had a big dog also! I don't think it was the same guy (what is the likelihood?), but his great truck was the same!

Somehow I think such expedition vehicles end up parked in someone's driveway most of the time. A good camper and a driver with lots of experience in it, modifying things as required, is the best expedition vehicle of all.

extreme integrated leveling jacks? i know a heavy duty truck like that probably has a transmission option with a pto, so hydraulic winch and 4 corner "leveling jacks" that are basically big ole hydraulic cylinders would be able to lift that thing is definitely possible and a great option
