I actually use the pull up bar attachment from iron masters! I bought it along with their ironmaster adjustable dumbbells(their dumbbells are heavy duty as they allow me to go very heavy
One of the major advantages I can see of this fitting over the speediance is if you get the belt accessory you can do weighted pull ups utilizing the speediance.
I never thought of this...I wonder how that would go. The anchor point on the base platform might ruin it as the handles don't come that far out, but if there is a brand where it does, could be a pretty neat upgrade.
We don't know how long this computer is going to last. We don't know how long Speediance will be in business. What happens when the computer fails? They already have reviews of being difficult to reach and bad customer service. All computers have finite lifetimes. What happens when the power is out? If the computer fails, you cannot longer adjust the resistance. The advantages of a regular functional trainers is that it depends on no computer, if a cable fails, can be replaced. The weight stack will never fail or break. Considering Speediance monster costs $2700 which is a similar price to most functional trainers out there. Torque Anker 7 costs $1800 with their 225lbs stack and is compact and small, pull up attachment available. The Foldaway F9 costs $2700 for the 225lb stack.
All very legitimate concerns! hopefully that does not come to pass, but is something to think about (especially losing power). I would hope they would help in some way if the computer in the machine gave out or something else happens.
No. The Crossgrips do not fit on the Gym Monster. You will also hit the screen if you somehow did attach it. You need the handles to come out away from the bars for it to work.
Hmmmmm Gym Pal is good if you have the money for it, but if you want to keep things really simple and cheap, adjustable dumbbells are a good choice (also if you don't need a ton of weight/resistance).
This is so freaking cool!

Did you see the SogesPower dip station & pull up bar device? Only $90! Looks solid.
saving, thanks for the recommendation. If the pullup bars come forward enough, and if the speediance fits it in, it may work well!
@@GamerBody Welcome! I hope you get a chance to review it.

Can you use the pull-up accessories that you already have for use with door frames on the rack?

pull bar 2.0 is waiting for you
I am looking at it, but the price is high which turns me off of it.
Limited space for a gym. Do you recommend SPEEDIANCE GYM PAL...VOLTRA 1..or adjustable dumbbells? Thanks 👍
