    The shift boot in the Z and these side pillars are definite projects that can easily be done, following ur steps. Thanks for another great video, I really want to do this in my Frontier because the interior is just so blan and gray. Small touches can make a big difference, Your Q looks even nicer now 👍🏽💯

    Grab the tether clip in the center with pliers and twist. Once you turn in roughly 90 degrees the clip will slip out of the trim. You turn it until it pops in or out of the pillar trim.

      Should have used the needle nose and done that!

    • @jayram31

    came out nice man. dope! seeing the pillars from outside bothers me with my car too. I honestly dont even think you need to do the whole headliner but wouldnt hurt to continue the theme if you feel like pulling the whole thing out.

    • @SpeedCultureStudios
      @SpeedCultureStudios  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The headliner is pretty complex with lots of plastic to tape off and paint so I’m not sure I want to tackle that! I’d need a couple days off work I think 😂

    I think manufacturers do a light colored roof so the interior of the car doesn’t feel cramped if you have a dark colored interior… or at least that’s what I heard

    • @SpeedCultureStudios
      @SpeedCultureStudios  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s exactly right. I talked about that when doing my z headliner. Supposed to make the cabin feel bigger…it just looks so bad lol

    • @Lethal.G37
      @Lethal.G37 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@SpeedCultureStudios I agree it really does look bad… I think manufacturers should just color match it to the rest of the interior

    Is there a difference with using a suede fabric that has a foam backing or not? I noticed you had suede that didn’t have foam backing others recommend using suede fabric with foam backing

    • @SpeedCultureStudios
      @SpeedCultureStudios  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes there is a difference. The foam backing makes it quite a bit thicker and would make wrapping the pillars more difficult. The foam backing would be best for headliners

    • @SpeedCultureStudios
      @SpeedCultureStudios  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I definitely think so-it’s just a difficult headliner to do with a lot of plastic!

  • @alexandrratkovich4469
    @alexandrratkovich4469 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    i would use "Fabric self adhesive" such a fabric glued to the plastic of the automatic transmission on the left and right sides of the seats.
    By the way, the Korean manufacturer!
