Hello there. What would be the best optional tires fitment for the 2021 Q50s with OEM wheels? I would like a more flush looking without rubbing issues, I’m also considering lowering suspension for a little more stiffness but nothing crazy. Current OEM size Front 245/40ZR19 and Rear 265/35ZR19. Thank you in advance for your advice.

What's the best sizes for fat tires rear and front, clean look, and not putting uneven wear and stress on tires/suspension. Pretty much only improve on the look, tire width, and performance by being lighter than the original rims... I only care about positive performance aspects not the whole lowered stance or static look

19x10 +40 square with a 295/30/19. this is slightly shorter than stock by 3/4". your speedo will read 2 mph slow. 70mph indicated, 72mph actual. or 19x9.5 +40 with a 275/30/19 front and 19x11 +55 with a 325/30/19 rear. this is stock tire height and this fits without mods. oem 19x8.5 wheels are right at 30lbs and the red sport front wheels are 31.Xlbs, the rears are about 32/33lbs. a moderately priced forged 19.9.5 wheel should weight in right at 20lbs. an avg non-run flat 275 tire is about 6lbs lighter than the oem dunlop run-flats. a good set of wheels and tires would save you about 66-72lbs depending on tire combo and rwd/awd for a Q50. add in 2 piece rotors front and rear to that and you can save 96-102lbs off the rotating assembly of the car.

Say get the 19x10 +40 in thr front for a 295/30/19 and due 19x11 +55 in the back to have the 325/30/19? Will that work? And my mph will still be 2mph slower on the speedometer?
@@ericinfante1885 The setup you mention will only be possible on a RWD car (and maybe not even then) because those 295/30/19 is .75" shorter than a stock height equivalent 325/30/19. ABS sensors sometimes get mad if tires are too far apart. in order to use 295s up front on a 19" wheel, you'll need to use 295/30/19 squared. again, that tire is a little shorter than stock. 275/35/19F - 325/30/19R keeps both tires at stock diameter and equal sidewall heights between the tires, they wont look mismatched. imo, the best setup is going to be a 19x9.5 +40 squared setup with 275s. this is going to give you more neutral handling near the limit compared to stock and is the lightest way to go. if you want more grip, you change the tire compound, not the width. using a wider tire results in less pressure across the tread surface. you will gain a very slight amount of lateral cornering grip but tradeoff forward bite. in other words, itll be a little more squirrelly on corner entry and exit but mid corner set will be a little better. the reason you see very wide tires on racecars is due to downforce. more downward force on the tire results in more pressure on tires so you can run a wider tire without loss of traction at speed. since youre inquiring about the lightest and probably best performing setup, if you have a non Sport/Red Sport Q50, you can run 18s instead. 18x.95+38 Enkei RPF1s weigh 17.5lbs each. 275/40/18s weigh the same as a 275/30/19 so no savings there. but, overall, you would save an additional 10lbs over the numbers i gave earlier.
@@OxBlitzkriegxO yea rwd is the way to go for me. I always hear about square vs staggered, where the square isn't the best compared to staggered? Not sure of it is true or if the difference is really big enough to tell? I want to have starlight like traction and improved handling with tire setup as much as possible before I eventually add improves suspension and supporting mods for suspension 😉. Yes stickier tires go a long way which is what I will have to get regardless but ik tire patch width and less unsprung weight goes a long way too

It depends how yours works. Typically, you would put your preferred pressures in the tires, and then "reset" your TPMS in the infotainment. Sometimes this is dealer only.
