I have been trying since my son was 1 year old but still he doesn't use the potty. He is 6 now still wearing pull up and doesn't potty yet . I tried everything 😪 but still struggling with it but as a mom will keep teaching him and be patient with him . Will try this and see how it will work with him . Thank you.

It takes time, have patience mummies and daddies. This is by far the most simple easiest step by step I have come across. My son is 3 years old and struggles to use the toilet but his starting to understand what it’s for because everytime I see his trying to do a poop, I immediately take him to the toilet and he let it’s out. Even though he is non verbal and can’t say when he wants too. We have to always be their voice too. Hope it goes well. Autistic children are awesome and very very special !! 💕
My son is 41/2 , he pee when I bring him to bathroom...but he never poop , he hold his poop for long time..
Hello mom's. Being that ur son's aren't potty trained did they still let them start kindergarten? Does someone change them? Is the child in a special school or regular public school in a special education room? Curious

Thank you so much for sharing this important steps, as my 6 yrs old is going to pee but he fears to do potty, he feels comfortable to do it in diaper,when I force him to do it in washroom, he stop going to washroom for pee also, he sit once a time for potty, but he didn't feel easy and stop to pressure and come out. I use grind flex seeds powder for his regular motion otherwise it is hard for him to pass stool.

First of all stop using dipers wo kabhi nahi sikhega. He has developed a fixed routine you have to break it. Make him clran on his own dont clean after him make him throw the potty by himself dont loose patience keep some reinforcement time lagega but he will learn.
Laxatives at night will not make them go potty at night? Also when we start do we put diapers at night?
These are good tips.. but my son who has autism... doesn't like warm or hot water.. he NEEDS cold water.. we struggled alpt cause I just assumed warm water is best and he hated it.. until a couple of years later when he started talking at the age of 4.. he asked for cold water.. for washing up or even for his bath.. just wanted to add this.. incase another parent finds this issue..

@@shaygabby2338 hey.. sorry I took so long to reply.. honestly didn't realise.. my son used to go for speech therapy... and that helped a little I guess.. but I do his speech therapy at home myself now because I know exactly where he is at...according to his development....I would suggest going to a speech therapist.. but if you can't afford it.. try to go for a couple of session so that you can understand some things. Like how to talk to make them talk.. another useful thing I found was speech therapy courses on udemy.. and alot of youtube videos.. my son is doing so much better now but we have a long way to go.. but first I would suggest educating yourself on the speech and language development chart by age.. i bought one off of a website called

You are better off taking advise for potty training from therapists and parents of autistic kids. Doctors/ people working in clinical side do not have experience working with autistic kids 24 hours a day. This rhetoric speaking sounds nice from doctors who basically advise or prescribe but don’t work with autistic kids all day all night.

Hi there, so I got my son to sit on the potty and I even give him water so he can urinate faster, however he didn't. My sister is saying he's probably not comfortable with me sitting next to him but if I don't he'll get up. If I leave him with the phone or tablet he'll just keep tapping the screen and it'll come off. Any solution?

Still pooping in diaper or good now? If not that follow the approach of ShakriKakyan potty training it will take 2-3 weeks but eventually it will work

Pretty sure it aint. Kids get dehydrated reallly quickly

My issue is my 2 year old wants to do 3 different things at once. She wants to pee, flush and wash her hands. And she fights every time she changes her mind and doesn't want her pull ups to go back on
I'm not trying to diagnose your child off of one comment but I'd like to suggest testing her for ADHD. Task prioritization is a HUGE problem for people with ADHD and will literally have me walking in circles sometimes bc ny brain wants to do all the things at once. This sounds similar to her decision making that you described.
And to piggyback off that a little, ADHD is very common in Autistic people too so even if she's already been diagnosed on the spectrum, it still never hurts to check. Also, I'm sorry for being annoying if you already knew all this lol.

It’s not easy it need patience and consistency child won’t sit for 10-15 min they try to run and can get nervous, crying etc
