Behringer has come such a long way. These synths they have coming out with are ultra incredible. I am looking at getting this Nuetron, and after seeing this video, I am sold. So far, I have the TD3, RD6, RD8, Crave, and waiting patiently for the RD9.
I would very much like an RD-9, behringer products make it very easy to get into minimal or early style techno and acid (of course you can use them in modern styles too)
Once again, your work is much appreciated. Just bought some baltic birch plywood. Going to be crafting a nice little shell for my Keystep and Neutron to live in.
Just got a Neutron to add to my Behringer bargain-box collection. Have trawled TH-cam for decent tutorial videos and yours are by far the most useful for a patching newbie like me. Many thanks!
Tremendous work! I love your videos, they’re ever so playful and fun but also really informative. I bought a TD-3 last week and sent the CV/Gate outs to my Neutron which works amazingly well. That enables me to tweak the 303 and crank up the resonance while keeping the bottom end from the Neutron... It’s a monster sound 🤘 You really do deserve a lot more followers, peace ✌️
I have a TD-3 arriving tomorrow ! so sequencing CV into the neutron was one of the things I wanted to make a video of, will have to see if I can come up with something neat. Also get to see how close my 303 patch was. Thanks for the kind words
I can't believe my Neutron does 303. Yes we could buy a 303 clone ,but this way you feel the reward of achieving a goal and far more creative options. Thanks very much for the video.Your videos are great by the way 👍
I love you bro, you just saved me $100 on buying a 303 clone. Great m8 videos too, never expected you to pop up after googling something about the neutron
PS. I have seen in a TH-cam video there is a possibility to sync the neutron through the sample and hold rate to the bpm in any measure you want.. I could not realize that with ableton because the guy was using a octatrack for that... He sent a "hidden" midi note via mod wheel (midi cc 1) and got a clock signal through the assignable out.. Habe you discovered that too?
@@avrilcadabra Here it is, the Neutron acid line is the supplementary line that runs through the track. The main lines are my Dreadbox Hysteria Oscillator. I will certainly be using your patch for more tracks. Thanks. soundcloud.com/naga78/burnt-eye?ref=clipboard
man, thanks a lot for that... so good !!! I have learn a lot, but i have an Octatrack to sequence my neutron, and velocity doesn't seems to work on my sequence, by any chance, could you help me ? Cheers, and very inspiring channel
Octatrak has no velocity setting.or its not doing anything to the neutron? . Been a few years since I made this patch so pretty much all forgotten sadly.
I love your TD-3 comment. It speaks to my question. I want a midi-controllable 303 sound and was debating the TD-3, but this seems to be able to cover the same ground and offer additional possibilities. Is that a fair assessment in your opinion?
Its a bit time consuming to dial in this patch everytime you want a 303 and while I think this is pretty close to a sound you could get from the 303 there are other sounds and behaviours the neutron can't really emulate. Like the decay on the 303 holding a charge. If I could only choose 1 it would be the neutron of course. But I think the midi implementation on the td3 is very good. You might find one super cheap right now on depending on your country. Think they are 89gbp on Amazon today.
Perhaps check in the software if anything is set oddly. Not heard of portamento being faulty before. Perhaps post a video of it unpatched and not working on one of the neutron Facebook groups. They are pretty helpful with ideas.

You channel is hands down the best Neutron patch work I've seen on TH-cam. thank you!
Thank you Uriah, youtube finding me lots of lost comments today
This is a great breakdown. I like the Neutrons Acid tones, nice work 👍🏻
Damn. You really nailed the sound.
I wore my Blade CD out back in the day. LOVED that stuff.
Love that track. Thanks means alot !
WOW.
Neutron really does pull off a decent 303 lead.

Thanks. That will look great. I think I will get the 3 tier stand after I settle on a 3rd unit. Hopefully their new semi modular is neutron sized

Thank you. And yes you are right it is fun to see how many different things can be done with the neutron
I love you bro, you just saved me $100 on buying a 303 clone. Great m8 videos too, never expected you to pop up after googling something about the neutron
Cheers , made tonnes of Neutron videos. Lot easier to share patches on the m8 though lol
Just picked up a Neutron. Your tuts are great! Really amazing job sharing these, thanks!
Thank you Augustine. Enjoy your new Neutron!
Impressive! Thanks for the video and breakdown!!
This patch is fabulous! Just squelchy goodness! Great job!
Thanks Brian! one of my faves this one
avrilcadabra you are super clever with the Neutron. Thanking you!
Thank you Alan, appreciated.
Good Neutron videos - lots of other videos just give an overview, or just play it, but you are pointing out some good insights and options.
The Neutron: 1st Synth I ever bought.....nice work on this one!
Last synth I bought :p you are doing very well then if you have only been anything that long!
Avrilcadabra yes only been into synths for about 18 months in so far as actually using them - never touched one before that.
Excellent work, and thank you for posting/sharing.
Sounds great Inty, reminds me of the Blade blood rave scene!
Thanks It definitely was the Blood Rave scene. You have gone way down the rabbit hole to end up on this video!
Love your tutorials, helping me a lot with learning how the neutron works and synthesis in general 🙂
Thanks Two Feathers, happy to hear the videos helped!
Great tutorial mate :)
Brilliant!
Very inspiring! Thanks for sharing!
I instantly thought Bass in the Place by Public Domain. Such a cool sound.
I have their operation blade cd. Which was a remix of the blade song. I'll check out bass in the place
@@avrilcadabra same song I think.
Great video!
That's something I waited for :)
Sorry it took a bit longer than expected!

Great track! Did it more justice than I could.
wow man sound very good. even i have the tb the sound in neutron my love its amazing. thank you
Thanks so glad to hear it
Mega Thnx!

Awesome job. Been hovering on either a TD3 or Nubass but shan't bother (for now😁) Subscribed.
Running the neutron through the td-3 filter is pretty cool though! Thanks for the sub Mark
@@avrilcadabra just snagged a black one from Juno for £109 delivered. Rude not to at that price!
Well done!

Nice, thx!
Sounds great you mention you didn't post the patch notes..if you where too were would you post do you have a link?
Thanks. www.patch-library.net
I'm actually considering buying a neutron such a big synth in a small package affordable too
Not a lot of reasons not to own one
Whoever thumbs downed this video is a real dingler
What's a dingler
Hi friend!, I can get the portamento work, is possible to deactivate it by mistake?
All the other patch things work properly, thanks for your help!
Hi. Portamento only works on overlapping notes. Make sure paraphonic mode isn't on
@@avrilcadabra Hi!,the paraphonic mode isn't on and still not working, another possibility?
Are you definitely playing legato?
@@avrilcadabra I programed it on my beatstep pro and in Ableton 🤔

Very close but not same
Your mum was close but not the same
That sounds great.
