Neutron can do so much. It’s great. If you have eurorack modules or another Neutron, you can send an LFO or 5v gate to alternate between the long and short snare and even use the snare as a high hat that opens up at a certain rate to create an even more complex rhythm pattern. Or just use some noise through a VCA that’s opened by the clock signal for a 1/16th note white noise high hat. Once you get really good with the Neutron, it really wakes up your appetite for more complex modular patches.
Good video 👍. I'm going to have to buy a second Neutron. I use mine as the core of an analogue sound engine for my Roland AE-30 wind synth. That makes me reluctant to use it for other things so clearly I need two! 😎
Amazing, I never thought it can be possible to do such a thing in the neutron, great Ollie, thank you.
excellent demo
sweet man. Now I want a neutron !

Totally lol
And am struggeling to stay away from buying other modules for my "more complex patches"
Awesome job. I've done a bunch of drum synthesis with the Neutron but I haven't tried it with a split patch like this
we want another complex algorithmic patch of Neutron)

One never have enough Neutrons 🤩
The ground noice , you have to use the connector which is in a kit with beatstep
Rookie mistake I did there indeed 😂
@@olliepsy good tut anyway
Is like cancelling my Rd-8 purchase every time you do drums on neutron ))
Hey man, I wondering is there a way to actually use a delay on snare now ? It’s affecting the kick too.
I don't think there's a way to do so without using external modules :(
