The best deco farming method is the quest "Mew are Number 1!" assuming you can clear a furious rajang at a decent speed. It rewards tickets wich you can meld into high tier decos.
@4:16 after the first one, keep going left and there are 2 more gathering spots. So if you got the skills it will be done there, even if you dont have any special skills to gain more it ususally completes there anyway..if not you take the one he took in the video.
I had expected this to be new information as though something had changed with the Return To World campaign. This is definitely good and helpful information for new players, but if you've been at this for a while you will likely know most of it.
Unfortunately, and try as I might, I was not able to find a method that had yet to be discovered. Went through all the event questa and farmed dozens of investigations and these were simple theq (same) conclusions we came to.
I mean, short of using mods/cheating it's pretty much impossible to find better farming ways than people already have in Monster Hunter games. That's just how important efficient farming is in the franchise.
It is also of note that the arena Elders have an 8% chance of dropping an extra yellow and a 1% chance of dropping an extra 3. I can hear Toasters lamentations now, such beauty to the ears
Yeah, it only made sense for when the quest first came out before the release of Iceborne, as most people playing would've already grinded enough of the base World endgame to be at HR 50. But when you start a new game now it's easy to get to all the way to the endgame of Iceborne and still not be at HR50. Greatest Jagras should've been reduced to a HR 30 requirement, I think. That way you maybe have to grind just a bit to get to that HR 29 Double Tempered Bazel quest, but you will still be near the beginning of Iceborne and be able to take advantage of and enjoy those level one to three decos before the level four decos start to take over.
@@evolutiontheory1219Right? There’s zero point to grind anything in High Rank. Since something as simple as a Great Jagras weapon in master rank out classes nearly everything in high rank.. Just a waste of time to sit in high rank

Just an FYI for the Frostbloom quest. If you're starting at Camp 15 you only need to go left. There are 3 nodes within 10ft of eachother starting from the first node you showed off in the video. It's faster than running clear across the ice patch. You can also start at Camp 7 and hang a left and there is 1 by the path leading down to the underground. From there head right towards the area you are gathering in if you started at Camp 15 and there is one below the climbable wall and then one at the top (the last one you showed in the video).

To the Flora Frostbite Quest, especially for those who just reached Master Rank 3 an are new players: This is the single best beginner deco farm in low MR. All you really need to get going is the Master Gatherer skill (Fast gathering) and Geologist lvl 2 (One extra item per gathering point) -Take the Ghillie mantle with you, just in case Barioth bothers you -You won't have Camp 15 unlocked yet. Go to camp 7 and turn left. The area you are going to this way has 4 of the gathering points you need -As mentioned in the video, choose "Return to camp" during the twenty second timer after the questgoal is reached, but also return to Seliana every 5 - 8 times. This way you can send and receive safari, argosi and quickly fertilize/farm items like honey or bugs and use natural fuel for steamworks. - Since you don't ever engage in combat, you can use low and high rank gear comfortably to get a cheap and easy gathering set with all skills necessary. -Kirin Divinity is nice to have, but instead of farming Kirin for an hour at MR3, just farm Flora Frostbite in that time and you'll get every deco needet. You can get attack boost, crit, wex, crit boost decos from this quest and lvl4 decos rewarded here are everything you'll need to kill Fatalis but at least you'll get enough to comfortably fill out your slots as needed.

I wonder if by using the quest tickets you can get more feystones as rewards (have not yet tested it). Thank you very much for the video.
In the quest: Mew are Number One! you'll fight a Furious Rajang, and if you beat it you will get 2-5 astral tickets that you can use at Elder Melder, you'll get pretty strong jewels
I feel I should add that attack+ or expert+ cannot be gained from the tickets, nor can any two-skill jewels with attack or expert. Gems from the quest are fair game

Trying to get through all of Base World’s content before moving onto Iceborne. This’ll be helpful once I actually reach HR50… Can either of the two quests you mentioned drop a Guard Up jewel? That’s the one I need most
Check the wiki which feystone has the highest chance to drop it then match quests to feystones. On my main I only have one Guard Up... this is a severe RNG system ;)
How did you get the element weakness to show on the monsters when you're checking the quest board. Aswell as when I'm game to see the slinger drops and parts on the floor?
:( I was hoping for another method besides day of ruin. Its fast...but after 750 something teostras its so mind numbingly boring. I am still missing expert 4's and not a single attack 4 drop yet.
I guess a question I have is what decorations are the rarest? not like which ones are the best but which ones are hard to get? I wish I had a slot 4 power prolonger but don't have one yet
you don't need most of those skills, they simply help and there are many armors you can craft that come with those skills, even from low rank gear sets
The build recommendet is not very helpful for a MR3 newbie, thats right. Also camp 15 is not accessible at that point in the story but thats MH veterans blindness. I only saw it myself because i started a new playthrough. Get Master Gatherer (Either through low/high rank gear or the talisman) Get Geologist lvl 2 (Low/high rank equipment is easiest) Go to camp 7 and turn left when you exit it. That way you farm close to optimal, don't need to farm MR Kirin and you can even use low or high rank gear for a very cheap and potent gathering set.
Question, the special symbols that show where items drop from the monster. Is that a mod or a setting? It makes it much easier to notice when parks break.
Why is it with none of these gathering sets I hear about no one ever mentions the [Guildwork] set, it litteraly has EVERY thing without needing decos bar geologist and so many slots you'll struggle to find things for it and it has a [good] chance of higer quest rewards and stacks with kirin [high] reward chance.
@@darkhero2 With the MH save editor on Nexus you can simply toggle an option "Upgrade Assassin's Mantle" or something like that, since you are on PC and not new to modding, It shouldn't be too hard

May if you mind share with your build?
@@mystoganlarsen1351 Find any HBG Spread shield build on YT and put anti blast on it, you'll need one with the Safi Burstcannon as a weapon !
can confirm, we are able to 3 man tempered teo in about 3 40 mins
I never understand why people always do toaster. Me and my buddy always did the kushala one and with our spread builds even solo, you can kill it in about 3m and with proper skills and timings you can keep it perma stuned so no fear of ever getting hit or him flying it's quite easy
Love the file city bgm lol
this was extremely enjoyable, I hope you do this again 😊
btw there's quest for astral ticket the name of the quest is mew are number!
I think I saw your video about Frost Frostbite when it came out❤
Amazing! Thank you so much!
Sonic Unleashed music played ! LET'S GOOO
Thank you DarkHero2 . You are really a hero for me :D. Guys if you don't have any good decoration. You can farm with kinsect dps build just like me.
love guides still no hunting friends of ps5
How do you have the monster part highlighted with a “monster” icon? Sorry if it’s a known thing I’ve played quite a bit of MHWI and I’ve never seen that
Its a mod on nexus. I want to get that one too
For the Quest "Wrath of Thunder Descent". Can you recommend a HBG Build?
Could you do a video on your sticky build?
Can we see your fashion in the game for male?
I want you to think about what you said here, you need the Kirin 3 set, but you wont have access to Kirin at MR3
Hi, great guide specially for a complete newbie like me! I just have one question, when you were viewing your decos @5:34, your decos have a number ex: Expert Jewel +4 *_[4]_*
What does it mean and why mine doesn't show it? Thank you very much!
The creator uses mods! So they have extra UI effects that base game does not have. It's probably one of the more detail mods! Idk the exact name
I have 3k hours in this game but still watch hahaha, thank you for making it easier for newbies when I had to figure things out myself (reason I have so many hours) but seriously I appreciate you doing that
I feel like this comment is more of boasting than it is being kind for some reason, like nobody cares how many hrs you put into the game. You could have just said it's awesome this guy is helping others. "you appreciate him doing that"
@@deciduousoutdoors436 Im sorry if it came over that way, wasnt meant that way, and I guess I did beat around the bush but yeah, I just wanted to say I appreaciate what hes doing
@@MisterT.2962 oh okay 👍
@@deciduousoutdoors436All. he did was say that he had a lot of hours from not understanding where the best places to get better decorations from. I think you're the one who has the issue, chill tf out
@craniumdiode1263 I definitely have issues as does everyone, so get off your high horse. You think I wouldn't have wrote what I said if I hadn't thought someone would defend em? Like I said, he could have worded what he said differently, instead he didn't n mentally tried to make other ppl feel different. That's what I think, maybe not you because you choose not to because his reply is a calm reply to mine. Its obvious he feels better than most because he "had a hard time early game"
I was there too since the start and I can say not much has change.
Hello there. I saw your 6 Things Every Player Should Do Before Iceborne video and I wanted to know what layered armor you had on for that video.
Not me being HR100 with absolutely no good decos, and using the defender lbg V 😂
Do u have to use a specific build to get more jewels at the rewards?
*gasp* A fellow fancy wiggler, what a wonderful day!
The flora frostbite quest is available at MR3, but you don't see the first MR Kirin until MR24
true 😂
Yeah I meant to say that if you want to have a headstart and farm before getting the Kirin set that''s an option 😅
I hope you can answer this question cause I’ve genuinely tried to search around but nobody explains how to add that and idk if it’s a mod or not, but how can see the materials icons on the floor and how can I add that??
Trying to get through all of Base World’s content before moving onto Iceborne. This’ll be helpful once I actually reach HR50…
Can either of the two quests you mentioned drop a Guard Up jewel? That’s the one I need most
Check the wiki which feystone has the highest chance to drop it then match quests to feystones. On my main I only have one Guard Up... this is a severe RNG system ;)
Hey how do you get your item drops to have that pop up style banner on them? Is it a mod on pc or is it something on PS consoles?
How did you get the element weakness to show on the monsters when you're checking the quest board. Aswell as when I'm game to see the slinger drops and parts on the floor?
Mods
Would you be able to share your sticky HBG build?
How do you get the decorations to have those icons hover above them when they’re on the floor?
It’s a mod he’s playin on pc with a PlayStation controller
@@mx218n7 gotcha. Thanks
I want more vitality/other skill decos, but the ones i have the most of are useless to me
Those mods are beautiful, especially those that put the weakness over the monster icon 🥲
**cries in console**
Whats your bowgun build for farming zinogre?
:( I was hoping for another method besides day of ruin. Its fast...but after 750 something teostras its so mind numbingly boring. I am still missing expert 4's and not a single attack 4 drop yet.
i feel your pain....MR 755/504 and no Attack 4 😢
I guess a question I have is what decorations are the rarest? not like which ones are the best but which ones are hard to get? I wish I had a slot 4 power prolonger but don't have one yet
My knowledge inquised from this video.
I see what you did there
The build you recommended for flora frostbite is deco heavy and I don't think new players who went to Iceborne early has all those kinds of deco.
Good news, you don't need armor skills to do that quest it's just slightly more convenient.
you don't need most of those skills, they simply help and there are many armors you can craft that come with those skills, even from low rank gear sets
The build recommendet is not very helpful for a MR3 newbie, thats right. Also camp 15 is not accessible at that point in the story but thats MH veterans blindness. I only saw it myself because i started a new playthrough.
Get Master Gatherer (Either through low/high rank gear or the talisman)
Get Geologist lvl 2 (Low/high rank equipment is easiest)
Go to camp 7 and turn left when you exit it.
That way you farm close to optimal, don't need to farm MR Kirin and you can even use low or high rank gear for a very cheap and potent gathering set.
thank you for the guide! I´m trying to kill alatreon so this guide is going to be useful!
I´m also portuguese btw :P
Awesome video! How do you get 250 silver tickets in one go in the steamworks? I usually get 2 or 3 in one full cycle
I had fuel stored up for like 1 whole year so I just let it be there afk for as long as possible 😅
Can you please help me. Im getting error 400 MW1 and cant do event quest. Its so frustrating :(
Hope someone can help you with this
a mi se me soluciono cambiando el DNS a los de google, eso me soluciono el problema, 8 8 8 8 y 8 8 4 4, creo que eran
What are those yellow numbers within the deco's name? Is that a mode? What does it do?
Lucky Cat doesn't stack with Lucky Vaucher.
Im surprised they dont let you craft decos like the good old days :(
Question, the special symbols that show where items drop from the monster. Is that a mod or a setting? It makes it much easier to notice when parks break.
Mod
Why is it with none of these gathering sets I hear about no one ever mentions the [Guildwork] set, it litteraly has EVERY thing without needing decos bar geologist and so many slots you'll struggle to find things for it and it has a [good] chance of higer quest rewards and stacks with kirin [high] reward chance.
Out of topic: how do you set that you can see monster elemental weakness from quest menu?
it’s a mod
Hey there since this is recent are there any mod managers that work well? Cuz some mods work and others not in 2 I tried
I started recently so I'm at HR 45 and I'm at gold rathian, can't farm due to the 50HR cap
Hi, why haven't you upgraded the AC mantle yet? (I mean with the editor) some decoration slots could be handy for some stamina draining abilities
I forgot to do it back in the day and I believe the AC quest to upgrade it has since been remove which is a shame
@@darkhero2 With the MH save editor on Nexus you can simply toggle an option "Upgrade Assassin's Mantle" or something like that, since you are on PC and not new to modding, It shouldn't be too hard
oh true I'll have to look into it. I never used a save editor before because I've heard from a couple of friends they've lost their save file that way but if I back up my saves it should be fine@@boh6575
@@darkhero2If I remember correctly there's always a backup of your save in the Mhw folder too other than the one in userdata (Edit: It's here "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Monster Hunter World\savedata_backup.') but yeah make one manually anyway, better safe than sorry
Does puke farming still work? Cause my jagrass doesn't puke like that after eating an animal?
I do have a question which isn’t about decos, i wanted to know how you can see the weaknesses of the monsters before you can select a quest? Like when you showed the lavasioth we can see a water icon an also a fire one when you show the great jagras ?
Wondering this as well. I also see number beside decoration name surrounded by [] which I don't have in my game.
