It's always inspiring to see something that started out as a small indie title blow up into a AAA franchise. However, #FiveNightsAtFreddys Security Breach misses the mark for me in a lot of ways. I've seen people say that it would be an amazing game if not for the glitches, but I disagree, based on the design philosophy of the game. Not the visual design; I think the game looks quite nice for what it is. The audio design is the best the series has ever had. But gameplay-wise, there are so many baffling design choices that keep me from loving the game as much as I could. I really want #SteelWoolStudios to have another crack at handling a big-budget game like this, especially after how much I enjoyed Help Wanted.

I'm kinda surprised that you didn't mention how once you get to the doors at 6 am, Freddy and Gregory talk about 'disappearances.' You kinda mentioned this with how Gregory doesn't just stay with Freddy but, the disappearance thing really comes out of nowhere. Hell, I actually went and read through every duffle bag on a wiki to see if the youtubers I watched missed anything. But, nope, nothing talking about the disappearances outside of that dialogue and the Leave ending.
Also, no mention of what happened to Foxy, that was the actual reason I looked through the messages and uh, he's just kinda unmentioned despite a kids cove area existing. It's even weirder because they DO mention Bonnie, so did they just not have a Foxy? Why isn't this mentioned? It feels like I'm missing these seemingly important details, but then there's nothing there when I go to look for them.

Funny story: it wasn't until I had everything edited that I realized the thing about the disappearances too, and it's such a shame I didn't have the time to go back and talk about it. Ironically enough, I was going to ask, "Even if you stay, you're just a kid, what are you gonna do about kids who are disappearing?" But you're right; it's not brought up during the game, ever.

@@Charriii5 That's completely fair haha, I don't think I initially realized it until I thought about it and thought, "Wait, disappearances?" It's such a weird thing to just suddenly bring up, especially since people have found cut dialogue that talks about Gregory getting hurt and Vanny not having a knife despite having it in official art. Funny how they won't hardly talk about kids getting hurt, but they're fine with a walking corpse and a woman getting 'disassembled'. Seriously that ending is so messed up.

It’s kind of ironic how one of the most common questions in FNAF is: Why doesn’t the security guard just run away from the animitronics?
Yet in this game the critique is: Why doesn’t Gregory just stay in Freddy’s room until 6 AM?
Well, the animatronics usually attempt to kill the night guard in the FNAF games.
Since Gregory is a kid, the animatronics are supposed to be 100% friendly to him. Freddy is the only one that maintains his friendliness and has everything he needs to prevent an involuntary attack (charging station) in his room.

@@darky5335 Moondrop seems to have been activated by Gregory, since for some reason Fazbear employees kept the Daycare's lights on (Probably because of various accidents with Moondrop prior to the game). Only after Gregory triggers Moondrop, even if the lights restart, is when he becomes active
Vanny = Vannesa, Vanny clearly chases for places where Gregory clearly is (The Daycare after the alarm is triggered, the security station where Vannesa hid Gregory, etc). So, since Vannesa had literally 0 idea Gregory & Freddy were colaborationg prior to her suspicions during the introduction to the modification chamber, Vanny would have 0 reason to enter Freddy's room, especially cause that night she was reviving Afton

21:25 I believe Roxy's plan was to jump onto your go-kart or grab it from where she was, as most animatronics seem to be rather strong, and Roxy has been known to destroy other go-karts. The kart suddenly flipping towards her was unexpected and clearly has never happened to her before, and she was unable to react, thus.... No eyes.
She likely has stronger legs than...anything else. Her legs could probably take the hit, but since the kart flipped, it struck her upper torso. You can at least brace for impact, but once your feet leave the ground, you can't really brace for anything.

Kinda sucks seeing how Security Breach ended up the way it did. Not just because of the glitches, but also because of the gameplay and story. Hopefully the DLC fixes this.

In other words, style over substance.
One of the biggest sins, to me, is that most of the “story” is completely optional and confusing to anyone unfamiliar with the series when present. An example being the Afton ending. Anyone who is unfamiliar with the game would have no clue who that was and just assume it to be Bonnie. Bonnie is the only story element of the game that is directly alluded to outside of those bags. Freddy mentions there is no bunny anymore, but the player can clearly see the image of Bonnie in Bonnie bowling. So when they spot the bunny in the Afton ending, Bonnie would be the first to come to mind. I don’t think Afton is even mentioned once, and that is the sin. When your story is both optional and relies heavily on past stories, it cannot stand on its own. It ostracizes and confuses the audience you are trying to sell to.
It's a sequel, obviously you need to play the previous games in order to learn and recognize the current story, though I do agreed they should have alluded to some story parts better.

Its a game with the (almost) typical characters but an entirely new lore behind it, but to understand the lore you need to play a VR game (which a lot of people don't have) and read the books. That kind of history, that needs external stuff to understand is crap to say the least

@@coolgamer2964 a good sequel shouldn't require you to not only play 5 to 7 games leading up to it, but also lore dive into videos to get the actual story since FNAF doesn't like to directly tell its story, meaning that relying on others to know Optional story in a series to a T is outright self sabotage. Not that the story bits in SB is even finished. A lot of the oddly placed dialog is proof of that

You forget that this is Fazbear Entertainment. The company that will only call the police after they cleaned human remains of the equipment and other surfaces. If that is the policy for dismemberment and other stuff then burglary and vandalism will most likely be ignored.
Fun fact: the fnaf games partly serve as commentary on how bad working conditions are for menial job workers in modern society. This is why management takes money from kitchen staff for something that's not their fault.
I am stupid and somehow never thought of that. I never made the connection of "Fazbear assholes" to any real-world occurrences, even though said people were written by someone who worked at a Dollar General, a place that's known for horrid working conditions, so thank you for bringing that to my attention
I'm a bit confused here. This game has nothing to do with the soul possession story right? Because if so, I find it interesting that these robot AI are so advanced that they are capable of holding a conversation as if they were 100% human.

Eh, this game takes place in like the 2050s, and the animatronics have always been decades-advanced from where technology was at at the time. I'm totally fine with the characters just being sentient now, it's one of about four things in SB that isn't complete garbage.

Fun Fact: Standing and balance algorithms are some of the most complex equilibrium systems in robotics, even though humans make it look easy. It's likely that Freddy could crawl under the gate, but whether or not he can stand back up is another story entirely. Regardless, the center of gravity of Freddy is a fascinating topic given that his chest is hollow.

Feels more and more like a genuine question each time I hear it.
So, with the items being collectable again (also applies to the driver-assist head): My personal theory is that they wanted to have an inventory that you could put items into and also take items out of, but didn't spend the time to fully implement it. So, what they wound up with is a set of true/false flags for each item. In that case, putting an item into your inventory is easy (set item to true), and the opposite for taking it out. Additionally, for the vast majority of items, you only pick them up. So, it's really simple to tell if the present that corresponds to the item should be open or closed (just check if you currently have it). This system falls over when you start taking items out of the player's inventory (hippo magnet and driver's head). This is because after you've used the items when you next load the area the game checks what state the item spawners should be in (free gift box and the interactable head in the raceway). Because you've used them, the game has removed them from your inventory. So, the game thinks that you've never picked them up, and spawns in the collectable gift/driver-assist head.

Wow, never thought of it like that. That's definitely a good explanation for the respawns. I'd guess to fix it you would make the item's use a trigger for not respawning the item anymore (i.e killing Roxy removes the driver assist's spawn trigger, and getting the daycare pass removes the Mr. Hippo magnet's).

1. There are no windows in that entire mall. Isn't that a fire hazard?
2. How does Freddy not know the replaced hands are Monty's? There isn't any parts in Parts and Service, you'd think he'd recognize his friend's parts.

4. Along with the lack of story line. How'd Gregory get into Freddy without anybody noticing?
5. There was really no point in Gregory getting their parts. All Freddy used them for is to get into places, not even to fight the staff bots even though he could've used Monty's claws to tear them in half. Plus, it's not even like Gregory killed them so they're still a major threat. Especially Roxanne, who can see clearer with no eyes.

Number SIX. The fact Gregory is homeless just comes out of legit nowhere. Yes, you can use 'he wasn't in the datebase' or something to go against it, but otherwise, there was really nothing leading up to it. Just...one of the endings where he's in a box. Sometimes I wonder if it was used to get people feeling bad for Gregory.

Well... in that bad ending, you can see something written about missing children in a newspaper. I guess it's expected that you are going to leave on your first walkthrough. Though, yeah, at least Gregory should've brought this up.

1. The entire front wall above the entrance with the neon heads is a window, but I see your point.
2. Bonnie must have had the claws too, since he was the original bass player, so he could have assumed they could have been found elsewhere.
For 2, I like to think that Freddy actually *does* know where the parts are from, but just asks Gregory for confirmation for... some reason.

I used to think that whenever Moon said "knock knock" it meant that he was about to pull you out of Freddy. Because, he has this weird habit of launching you out of the latter and that always counts as a "death" even if he manages to knock you several feet away from himself.

Vanny has three voice lines.

I like how the video picking apart only Security Breach is substantially longer than the one that did ALL 5 OF THE FIRST GAMES
a few other things that i thought was weird:
why doesn't Monty have a section like Chica and Roxy where he chases us while being broken down? i get he's just a upper half, but he's still alive, and you never get to know that unless you find him in the true ending
Why is Monty the only one with an actual boss fight? Roxy could've had a very cool boss fight where you need to keep hitting her with the cart in the track
Why is there an Ennard cardboard cutout? Fazbear Entertaiment wouldn't have known about their existence as Ennard had stayed hidden from any humans, and the only time they get in contact with a Fazbear pizzaria is during fnaf 6, but at that time, Ennard was already molten Freddy
Also, why do they have access to animatronics like Circus Baby? she was made by Afton Robotics, or at least advertized being from them, did they buy the rights to them? as far as i know this was never brought up in the series
About why Roxy doesn't get a boss fight. I think they were going to make a an actual boss fight for her but ya know cus of budget, time constraints, and other stuff they didn't have enough time/money to make it
@@bigman69420. which is actually an issue in itself, games, especially to the size of security breach, should NEVER have release dates, because it forces developers to work as fast as possible, leaving a buggy mess that was also delayed, release dates should only exist on late stages of development, games are only ready when games are ready
It’s important to note that there is a Funtime Freddy, Foxy, and the Bonnie puppet Bon-Bon, so Fazbear Entertainment already has some legal connection with Afton Robotics. And that’s disregarding the fact that both companies are owned by the same person.
Plus, I read on the wiki page for Afton Robotics that William apparently sold the company (and therefore rights for the Funtime animatronics), although I’m not 100% sure how true that claim is or where it would’ve even come from.
Iirc, in universe the FNaF games pre-HW are all actual in-universe games, though they depict real events. HW is also a game, but in universe it never got out of the beta stages bc glitch trap was inside. Basically everyone would know who he is bc he was in HW.
Monty does appear broken down before the true ending boss "fight", but he only spawns in certain areas, at that point of the game, mainly in the fazcade, but he's so slow and silent that unless you bump into him he goes unnoticed by most players.

This game has issues and you had a field day with them.
Personally, I can't bring myself to say it's god awful. Needed more time in the oven, yes. God awful, no. It's a bunch of really good ideas and sequences stitched together with fetch quests.
That is literally word-for-word my opinion on this game. It's not fundamentally a bad game, it's just that it needed design choices that enhanced things for new-time players, and it dropped the ball on that. This would probably be one of the best entries in the series if not for the minor details that really add up.

I could watch Moon carrying the player all day. That feels more genuine to his role and character than jumpscares.
I would literally rewrite that section where Moon catches the player and keeps putting them in the "time out nap pen" which is frustrating for the player and then later makes it easy for Vanny to catch us. Maybe have time out nap pens spread around the Pizzaplex for lost kids?
I actually love this idea - dunno about nap pens around the whole place but if the daycare was more central or had more access points that'd work so well

How did Gregory get into Freddy’s room in the first place? I find it strange that he was able to squeeze into a tiny chest compartment, but my bigger question is how did he get into Freddy’s dressing room BEFORE the game starts with seemingly no photo pass?

@@sharkshrek4154 Better question: When did Gregory get into Freddy’s chest cavity? Was it before the show? Was it while Freddy was being taken to his room after malfunctioning? Was it moments before Freddy woke up? The first option wouldn’t really make sense since his body would likely be discovered once Freddy malfunctioned, since I imagine they would have to open up Freddy to put him on reduced power, or his body would be absolutely screwed since this is before Freddy malfunctioned and was thus immune to the Glitchtrap virus, which would likely mean the chest cavity would crush him the moment he hopped in. The second option wouldn’t really work either, since Gregory would probably be caught before he could do so, or would have to run away before he could try. The third option couldn’t work either, since, as stated by the comment itself, he’d need a Photo Pass to get into Freddy’s room… although, he’d probably have found one at a convenience counter, like he does in the game, but then that would equal a continuity error and be rather stupid, since Gregory has to get a Photo Pass to let Freddy out, unless unlocking the door takes your pass permanently, but that wouldn’t make sense should accessibility still be plausible after that segment in the game.
Even if I entertain the notion of a vent somewhere in the room that may have been hidden somehow; how did Gregory open the chest hatch of a powered down animatronic without breaking it or powering it up?
Thankfully, the game is getting updated constantly. It runs much better thanks to loading screens in certain areas, the subtitles have been shortened, The party BOTS now physically leave instead of disappear, Comedy BOT actually speaks now, the AI is slightly better, the new lighting is cool, the furniture in the daycare was removed to not make Sun and Moon stuck, the animatronics don't despawn when the lights go out, and best of all, there is a SAVE STATION in the Atruim at 6am!!!

Surprised you didn’t mentioned how you apparently get Monty’s claws and are intact, despite that we see clearly that after the fall one of the hands lost it’s shell and then even after taking them Monty still has them after.
Could also point out that after getting the claws from his body he straight up disappears unlike Chica or Roxy with their own parts.
It would be a better if you heard a scratching/metal noise as you hopped up for the vent to get out and if the player turns back, they see he’s crawling away and then unload the model in a dark corner
Supposedly, he still would have chased you but due to some glitches or stuff not working, if you find him, he just stays still and you can walk into him for him to attack you.

For Gregory’s objective, I have a theory.
I think he was a homeless boy who had decided that for once, he was going to go inside the Pizzaplex and have fun. Either that, or he saw the potential for taking food and money in there. Point is, he went into the Pizzaplex, successfully sneaking in, but then was found by Vanessa. This was a little after Freddy crashed, and he was chased into Parts and Service by her. With his chest open, Freddy looked like a good hiding spot, so that’s where Gregory hid. However, Freddy was then taken back to his room to rest and recharge, with Gregory still inside him. That’s when the game starts with Gregory inside of Freddy’s chest, and with his goal to get out of the Pizzaplex, knowing that he wouldn’t be able to take any food or money now that Vanessa knew about him.
That’s my theory though, not confirmed canon, but it would explain a lot of things (how Gregory got there, and how he knows Vanessa, for instance)
I like that theory.

in that specific instance, though, it could be just that he didn't expect someone to come up behind him, and then he couldn't get up in time after falling to avoid the Bots coming to tear him up.

Straight up, I’ve seen everyone have a love-hate relationship with Freddy. And I love it. But it’s mostly to do with just really bad writing and glitches. But at the same time it kind of matters is personality, since he doesn’t seem to see the danger and literally everyone and everything in this building trying to kill children. He’s like one of those people in a dream you try to warn about danger and they are just unrealistically doubtful of everything you say.
A few extra in terms of logic:
Why is Venessa the only adult human in the building? I get that they have security and cleaning bots, but there should be some other employees there like kitchen staff who clean up. We know that the pizzaplex closes at 11:55 since the intercom announces they’re closing. Where’s all the employees?
How did Gregory get in the building in the first place? They have all these passes you need to buy to even get to the main stage and any other staff opening would have been locked or guarded.
Why is there only one of each animatronic? In a place this big, you’d probably want more than one so more guests can be entertained. One for stage, one for individual rooms, and one for their designated rooms like Monty golf.
How did the animatronics get so dirty? I get maybe Chica from eating trash but still, are they dumpster diving?
Why does the daycare attendant turn into a child killing dark version of himself in the dark? How does that aid the caring for toddlers?
Why are generators in the play structures? Again how does that aid the care of kids?
Why is there so many security offices but no security guards?

Bots have such advanced AI in this game that they can take care of it all. That and Vanessa is blatantly bad at her job...which is perfect for Faz Ent!
Gregory is a very small, sneaky lad. Disregarding all robot theories, likely disproven by Cassie in RUIN, he probably just snuck in and hid in Freddy when he was being put back into his room post-reduced-power...which was probably ALSO automated, considering they have personal elevators.
Fazbear Entertainment. They'll spread everything thin if they have to so they don't have to spend change for the extra animatronics, especially the multiplied repair costs. And that is dumb...but that's Faz Ent.
Chica makes sense, yes, and she gets even dirtier while she's stuck in that underground area with Gregory after the compactor. Monty seems to be the least immediately dirty from what I remember, and probably holds a lot of pride in that, because he's the most confident in himself. Roxy? She's the hunter. She's probably the one going into all the dirtiest places the most.
I've seen theories about this one. What it amounts to is that since the Pizzaplex goes through hourly shutdown, the virus that infected everybody else only hit MOON, not Sun. Or, the alternative: Sun wasn't important to, assumably, Vanny, but Moon had the perfect attitude. Moon seems like he's supposed to be a ruthless nighttime guardian figure, probably the only smart thing Faz Ent has done for children considering...how people are. Unfortunately, the plot has other plans. It does seem to be precedented, though, because I've seen lore notes about children being scared of the lights turning off after the Daycare.
Fazbear Entertainment. The fact that they can only shill out for several of these tiny ass generators says a lot to begin with. What better place to put them than where children can get PTSD from their built-in trauma bot!
You've seen the scale of the place, right? Also, they're probably being overly precautious considering they're Fazbear Entertainment. Probably just don't want another Afton...not that it matters, since they probably just use STAFF BOTS ANYWAYS!
Either the Pizzaplex has absurdly advanced and robust AI for the animatronics, or they're straight-up sentient.

AI actually, very very good AI to the point where the animatronics can be angry and super jealous, doubt themselves and have a meltdown when they are destroyed, have an eating disorder, and become a dad. There’s the blob with dead kids and possibly Freddy (in the Afton ending) but other than that? No hints there’s anything possessing them nor stuffed in them.

So, there is actually some logic to leaving more running than the security systems. It may cost a lot in electricity, but for a place that presumably is open at least 5 consecutive days a weak, it would be a lot easier to leave most things on. Which further justifies locking the building itself down to try to prevent break-ins. If I recall, too, some real life companies also leave certain machinery on because constantly turning it on and off can be rough on circuitry. I could be wrong on this last point though, very easily.
I think what would really help Security Breach would be one definitive ending, entailing Afton, Vanny, etc in a nice, long, bow. Solving many complaints, including the missed potential of Vanny, and the meh of the Afton ending. I loved the game, and hope that it can be even better!

The staff bots are arguably the most frustrating aspect of this game, I'd be fine if they all didn't have a jumpscare and have the animatronics appear behind you. Please steelwool, remove some of them or fix their pattern.
I’m not even ok with the spawning behind you because as charii says it’s hard to explore a area you’ve never been to and then you get found by the hundreds of security bots and have to panicky hide

I believe the staff bots are a cool and believable concept, considering the Plex's reptation with human staff and their affinity for robotics. Yet the sheer amount of security bots present completely ruins the whole "exploration" aspect of the game and turns it into a near constant cat and mouse game. You can't stop and look around or scope out and learn the place during missions without facing dozens of bots. And the fact that the mopping bots also alert the animatronics is stupid, as it isn't their programmed job and there is already more than enough security. They should act like the counter and chef bots. It'd also be a lot more terrifying and believable to have the animatronics run to your location than spawning behind you, as their sudden appearance ruins the immersion. It also makes it impossible to hide especially in the new patch where they refined the animatronics' finding abilities. I was stuck in the Fazcade for hours because I would get caught, Chica would spawn, and I'd either have to try and outrun her on limited stamina (rarely worked) or pray that I get lucky with hiding. And then top all of that with the bugs and it makes doing anything frustrating as hell.
Tbh it probably would’ve been better if they had more actual characters wandering the pizza plex like for example perhaps a proper comedian animatronic in the place of comedy bot I imagine a character somewhat like Funtime Freddy and you have to be stealthy wandering through the daycare theater or the animatronic will start to chase you. They should feel okay to add new characters to improve gameplay. The only reason their are so many security bots are because their are so few patrolling animatronics
Honestly this game had so much potential and many people including myself have been in the franchise since fnaf 1 was released. The trailers had so much storyline and so many people were excited for it. People from the trailer seemed to have more storyline and lore to them that they never got. Monty was barely visible besides being bugged in the DJ area. Vanessa had no screentime along with Burntrap. I know they ran out of budget and time but they should've delayed the game further so it would be just as good and maybe better than the other games. I hope they at least try and either make a new game with no promised date or at least a DLC with better storyline and stuff we were at least shown in the trailer. Such as help from Vanessa or more screentime for characters that were designed to have more than what they were given.

I always thought that the sudden comic style endings were indications that they weren't the canon ending. I mean, with the previous games, there would be some form of it. Fnaf 3- in the canon ending, lights are off and golden Freddy is gone. SL- red text meant canon blue meant non-canon. PS- hand unit (the only name I have for that guy) narrates every other ending, but with the canon ending, Henry gives his badass speech first. So I think steel wool wanted to implement something like that. Especially with so many other endings. But hey, that's just a theory

it's weird how much was cut out from the game honestly, from what I can hear from the dialogue and from what I saw in the OG trailer for the game there was clearly supposed to be MORE to the game then what we have now. there were even hints that it was gonna go on for five nights rather than five hours. there was cut dialogue found in the game that would imply that Vanessa was going to help Gregory and was slowly getting corrupted by the glitchtrap virus over time. and even in the trailer, it was heavily hinted that Monty was going to play a MUCH bigger role in the story as well. I'm curious as to why they cut out so much from the story.
I think they were rushed to get the game out for a certain release date. It seems like they scrapped the bigger ideas they had and threw something together to fit the deadline.
Release dates are a curse on developers, it just makes them peddle out unfinished garbage.

I have some problems with the fazwatch:
1) Why does a commercial product for children have access to every single security camera in the building, even the workers only sections? Like even if this was to be used solely in the centre, why are you even able to see the cameras? What if a suspicious person stole a watch, could they look at lavatory cameras? Why would you spend time adding this useless feature to a childrens watch?
2) the screen size is too small, even if this was an adult sized watch looking at full messages, browsing the cameras and operating the ui it’d still be too small, but since it’s a child’s watch it’s way too miniscule for these tasks, however there is a version made by the devs that have the watch interface make sense, why they didn’t use this baffles me-
3) why can i see the torches battery? is the torch magically blue tooth now? does every watch have the ability to see a random torches battery? why does it need to see a torches battery? wouldn’t it make more sense to show the watches battery rather than the torches? unless the place was made for torches to be used in tangent with the watches this would make sense but it’s not
4) why does a childrens watch have the ability to download a variety of different versions of third-party mail? like if it was designed for usage purely in the facility it wouldn’t need this ability but since it does it seems like it should be used outside of the facility, but then the cameras, maps and missions wouldn’t make sense outside the fazplaza, and why can it download mail in the first place when it’s supposed to be a children’s watch?
I have theory that the cámaras and the map are not official and Freddy just hacked the system. That's why we can see massages and why vannesa doesn't use a fazwatch to catch Gregory.

In the unutilized dialogue of the the game, Freddy say "there is a bottom in this room, but I programed to ignore it, it has to be somewhere" so the animatronics can't even use the elevators or leef there green room without a Human, what's make you think they have free access to the cámaras?
In the game, Gregory gains access to the cameras in the first security office. I forgot the exact way, but the Faz Watches don't come with this ability. My guess as to why they're capable of the whole messages and cams thing is because they're also used by STAFF. They could be some communication device of some sort, think like a work messaging app (i.e. Remind). It'd be just like the company to cut corners and have STAFF use a modified version of one of their products. I think this is alluded to in the game through the existence of staff messages being easily downloadable into the watch and Freddy being able to communicate with you through it. Though the fact that you pick messages up in duffel bags is odd, but hey. And the missions page could be a modified "To-Do" list for staff, or for things like itineraries or Wolf-Lodge-esque quests for guests. The watch's size isn't justifiable, honestly. I much preferred their original interface for it.
As for the torch/flashlight, I think it's just a game mechanic as it has been in every other FNAF game. Though if you'd want to tie it to the real world, the presence of many flashlight charging stations indicates that they're used by staff. As for the short battery life, I'd say they're some sort of Fazbear-specific technology. They may have such a short life and are only rechargeable through stations in the Plex to prevent the stealing of them. The battery life indicator may only be displayed on the Fazwatch because they're both Fazbear technology, and so STAFF knows how much power is left before needing to recharge it. If all else fails, the display can be chalked up to "future Bluetooth technology" reasons.
Sadly all the above is just speculation and justifications that makes sense to myself. Likely Steel Wool isn't that thoughtful, and just put these in as an "immersive" game menu (Fazwatch) and for convenience (torch battery).

At the very least Steel Wool seems to care about this game enough to patch it. While not being the only thing holding the game back, when the glitches are gone it’ll be a way better game.
Not to mention the ludicrous amount of cut content, and yet the game _still_ hardly runs for a lot of people, even on the lowest possible graphic settings because the game's disk size is just way too much.
Although, I can forgive it since I understand Steel Wool is a very small team, and the developers were under a lot of pressure to get the game released on time. Besides, they've already addressed a lot of this, and are planning to fix these and add some DLC later on down the line. You can tell a lot of love went into this game, despite its many flaws.

Over in the EU and some other countries, if a good with a name isn't produced in the origin country/region of the recipe, it can only be called -style, since it's not truly authentic. However just calling them tortilla chips after saying they're in that style invalidates the legality of it and is not what you're supposed to do.

It also provides an element of trade protection, allowing artisan goods to not be edged out of the market by big business. It encourages craftsmanship (which we are severely lacking) and provides benefits for people outside of the corps.

Uhh, it's been a while since I watched security breach playthrough, but I also recall Gregory said something like "It's her, she cut you off, she won't let you call for help until she finds me". It feels like the more I dig into dialog, the less sense it makes.

Bonus sin I found!At the very start of the game,Glamrock Freddy tells Gregory he cant find any guest info on him,but when he was supposed to let him out of his room with a Photo Pass,he assumed he had one. How would he have a Photo Pass if its a guest only item and,as Glamrock Freddy said,Gregory isnt a guest at the Pizzaplex?
I honestly think that Freddy just isn't used to people not having Photo Passes. Everyone he interacts with is either a member of staff, or a guest with a Photo Pass. Since Gregory obviously isn't a member of staff, his programming automatically assumed that he was a guest and therefore had a Photo Pass, even if consciously Freddy knew he wasn't a guest.

considering how gregory easily gets a photo pass from the convenience counter moments after getting out of freddy's room, i'm more confused how he doesn't have one at the beginning of the game. if i'm remembering correctly, gregory says he climbed into freddy while freddy was asleep, and i'd say it's safe to assume that freddy would have been sleeping in his room, meaning that in order to get in to even be able to climb into freddy in the first place, gregory would have needed a photo pass. but then, when he goes to let freddy out of his room at the beginning of the game, he suddenly doesn't have a photo pass at all? another thing, how did no one see gregory going into freddy's room in the first place? sorry this is so long, and if i got anything wrong here, please feel free to let me know :)

God that sentence was perfect. Not only since it's the haha funi Vanny line, but also because it encapsulates the game itself perfectly.
FNAF SB is a game that tries everything to make itself look good. And on the surface level it is that. Just like the line, the assets are pretty, the design is great, like the glitchy filter on her voice. But then you get deeper and everything falls apart. It becomes hollow, all as Vanny's one single line, which is cool and a good line on paper, reverberates infinitely inside your head, trying desperately to make you enjoy the flawed end product.

Doesn't him being just a head give him even less power and stuff?? This is such a bad continuity error that it hurts my brain.

What would have been nice if we get to see Freddy and Gregory bonding a little more and the game actually hints us of what the true ending is, which is the Afton ending. Because the Afton ending has two starts and another ending is three.

Another thing I noticed was when Vanessa says "Come to the main stage I have a suprise for you" but there is nothing there. Going back, there shows nothing, Vanessa doesn't say anything nothing happens.

This was by far, without question, the single most disappointing game I have played not only in 2021 but in my entire life. Three years worth of build up completely wasted.
I'm a massive fan of this franchise, so I went into this game with excitement and optimism only to walk out of it with confusion and emptiness. The story? It's too vague for its own good even in this series, it just stops progressing halfway through and then suddenly ends in a variety of endings that are all equally unsatisfying. We know next to nothing about our protagonist and our two main villains, who had been built up for these three years as the center of attention of the story, barely have any screentime and don't have a single conversation despite their close connection with each other. Hell, Afton doesn't even get to say a single line. He has more lines in the _trailer_ than the actual game. To say nothing of the fact that both Burntrap and the Blob come completely out of nowhere and flat-out shouldn't exist, since they completely ruin the ending to Pizzeria Simulator and make the concept of death meaningless.
The mediocre gameplay and glitches are big problems that form a large pile, but the story is by far the most disappointing thing in the game. And unfortunately, this isn't something that can be addressed with a patch. People are saying that DLC is probably planned and that it will fix all this, but if you need DLC to fix fundamental issues with the game then clearly the game shouldn't have been released yet in the first place.
I have no doubt that Steel Wool is passionate and put a lot of work and love into this game, but unfortunately that's not something that can excuse the way this ended up.

I’m glad that I never knew this game was coming until Markiplier started his series on it. I went in with zero expectations and just happy to see Mark play a FNAF game that I could eat to lol. Of course, all the bugs and the no saving towards the end was frustrating just to watch, so that’s proof enough that it must have been way worse to play

You know what I think was a bit of an influence on this game? Metroid Fusion. You're trapped in a facility with someone stalking you, you're guided by an AI/robot, you can collect upgrades from the bosses you defeat, you have to get security clearance to open certain doors, etc.
The only difference is the developers care about the game and took their time making it. Not only that Fusion is way scarier then security breach, and it's not not even classified as a horror game

Showbiz pizza actually had an attraction called Orwell: A robot you control. It used the Endo of Uncle Klunk, and you could use the controls to control him.
I like how they made Freddy an interesting character by changing his motivations and him being friendly instead of antagonistic. Also, it helps that he is voiced by Kellen Goff
