Thanks Tijmen for showing Gery how we perform our MPG testing! While I realize this isn’t our highest quality video we’ve ever produced, I still thought it is a great way to show you a bit of the behind the scenes testing we do for every car we review. Some of the results are shown in our written reviews and sometimes they end up on this channel and others! Gery, welcome to the team and I look forward to seeing more videos with you included!
This is awesome, and kinda fun too! Thank you Tijmen and Gery - please do more IRL effeciency tests. Time to know who's on target, and who's missed the mark. 👍
Wow! Infiniti continues to be way out of touch with reality and public. For years and years people complained about the gas mileage and now the latest generation is even worse? Not to mention you must use premium fuel! Still haven’t addressed the fact that you have to literally climb into this vehicle so it’s definitely not for everybody who would otherwise want to buy one even when they can afford to? Third row continues to be abysmal. And the styling was better with the 2017 model. Infiniti used to be my favorite brand but looking elsewhere.
FWIW, I took my Infiniti in for service two months ago and was informed they were closing the dealership. They are merging them with Nissa dealers. This is the tough position Tesla has pushed ALL legacy autos in. Cannot wait for my model S (August delivery). Honestly no complaints about my Infiniti or the service centers, but the EV movement is happening much quicker than I believe some legacy autos assumed it would.

Good work guys thanks for the info. That is a beautiful vehicle.
My Infiniti QX80 (2020) is RWD and used 25mpg on highway and 18.5mpg in city. Florida state.
P.S. …better if used regular fuel!!!!
Makes me feel better. I just picked up a 2024 and on way back from dealership (2 hr drive) I averaged 21mpg.
Will regular fuel harm the truck..
I have a 2019 qx80....ill use super if need be, but I wasn't sure if it's mandatory or recommended?
@@bignoiz08 regular is good. Engine doesn’t have a turbo.
@@konstantyndewlad2112 thank you🙏🏽
Always enjoy the efficiency loop test. Looking forward to more content from Gery!

Just did another today! Stay tuned and thanks for watching :)
2133 Wh/mi ( 33.7 kWh/Gal)
I think it’s funny you guys were shocked at the mpg, it’s a naturally aspirated V8 in a vehicle that weighs around 7000-8000 pounds, it’s not an EV.
With temps.above 50 degrees the mpg would be alot better.
Nice guzzler
I would look at the Lexus GX460
It’s a patrol. They are Rock crawling all over the world
What you pay in low gas mileage you make up in low maintenance costs with this vehicle…

What a joke. Lame channel still features Polluting automobiles. 👎
We do cover ICE vehicles as well as EVs
