    It's not all about adding new plays....it's about calling the right play at the right time and not being predictable

      Ohio St DB said exactly that. He couldn't believe how predictable the play calling was.

    We had a palmer type deep threat last year...his name is Lloyd and he hasn't gotten nearly enough playing time this year.

      I don't know why they don't alternate Lloyd, Coleman, Barney, and even Brice Turner (I know he's a DB now) and have all of these guys alternate and always have a deep threat or two on the field to keep the defense loose.

    Hey guys, talking about deep receiving threats on the roster why aren't you mentioning Jaylen Lloyd? He was our best TD threat last year and into the spring game where he caught another TD
    . Why isn't he getting the reps as he obviously has the speed to beat any defense? Why not have him and Barney on the field at the same time too?

    • @hooskerdu1
      @hooskerdu1 8 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      And Coleman. Coleman has the same speed as Jaylen Lloyd. And hell, why not even use Brice Turner as a receiver, even though he has switched to a DB. He's the fastest player on the team. Run him down the field and make a CB cover him, then have Neyor and Banks run shorter routes and scheme them to be covered by Safeties.

    I don't think you can add many plays at all that are different than what we're already running. I think this is going to be choosing the plays that we are already running that we are best at. I think a key difference will be that we will utilize Haarberg more often this game.

    You’re right about “soon enough” that’s just people finding something to complain about and nothing will ever make them happy. We could win the National Championship this year and they’d be complaining that Raiola didn’t win the heisman. It’s never ending with those people. No coach in America is going to start firing coaches after starting 5-1 with 1 loss happening in overtime. 1995 was 30 years ago. The era of concentrated talent, needing to be undefeated is OVER. There’s going to be 2 loss teams in the playoffs.

      All that to say, Rhule knows all that. He knows how college football is today. He already had Holgerson in his back pocket and waited until the right time to make the call. He’s steps ahead of the fans because the fans don’t know what’s going on.

    UCLA played LSU, Indiana, Oregon, and Penn State. That’s 3 top 5 teams. Husker fans did it to themselves when they talked all week about how UCLA is bad because they’re from California and don’t have a winning record. Husker fans need to learn how to respect other schools.

    You can’t really say “we were 5-1 coming out of the first bye” when it doesn’t take much to see the offensive regression after the Colorado game. Not to mention the fact that all three of the hosts of this show have mentioned the fact we haven’t played a full game quite yet offensively

      While partially true, it's not the whole truth. Colorados defense had improved drastically and he lit them up. Illinois has proven to have a good defense as well, and as stated, he had a great 1st half. It's not always the "well on paper" idea.

    Well these guys circle the truth but then sort of back away from it. Satterfield. Ruhle was hiring. Did he hire the best OC candidate available? No. Why not? Ruhle wasn't doing his best to help Nebraska. Plus somehow Satt got 3rd best OC money in the Big Ten . That just isnt rational. Why did Ruhle hire McGuire ? Was he the best available? No. If your not hiring the best available you don't respect the job. Finally, Neyor and Banks. Two guys. Portal one year left. Sip and Sean said last year we had to go with guys that couldnt get it done. Why? I thought Nebraska could recruit across positions in the Big Ten. But on the show your basically telling us they can't. If Nebraska cannot recruit for the BIg Ten other than the U making money why are we in the Big Ten? Is the U supposed to be a money making entity? The fans are being cheated. They support like their is no tommorow but its like Sandy Creek playing a Metro conference team. We need to get out of the BIg Ten. Jayden Maiava is going to roll.
