    A receiving vault or receiving tomb, you found in the cemetery sometimes also known as a public vault, is a structure designed to temporarily store dead bodies in winter months when the ground is too frozen to dig a permanent grave in a cemetery. Great history thanks Adam x

    The wawa you saw is the same as Florida. That's just an older original style store. The new stores are updated tremendously. Wawa originated in Wawa Pennsylvania as a dairy farm so the northeast stores are the oldest.

      sora song: you are assuming and speaking *for* Adam. No one knows for sure that adam is gay or bisexual. He hasn't said yet and he may *never* say. That's his prerogative if he doesn't. Just because someone is single in their 40's does not always mean that. That is a common assumption and misconception. Anyway point is, don't speak for someone about their sexuality. Let THEM speak about it, IF they so desire. and if they don't, don't speculate. There we go, I have said my peace. :)

    Deep into EZpass land now. Sometimes those toll lines can get really long on those main roads. If you think it worthwhile, there might be a nearby EZ pass office in Delaware. If you choose to stop in their office you just give them your license plate number and a credit card to charge and they hand you a transponder. The tolls are reduced and you don't have to wait in the toll lines. Just like Florida Sun-pass.

    • @bryanfykes8670

      Kristin P actually no, that one isn't. just a cooling tower.

    • @yogirl74
      @yogirl74 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I should have said AT a nuclear power plant. I didn't mean the tower was the power plant. :)

    • @robhimself79
      @robhimself79 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Kristin P coal electric plants use the same towers. its not always nuclear when you see a cooling tower like that. for example, one can be seen from the Orlando airports terminal. that is the Stanton energy center.

    • @yogirl74
      @yogirl74 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good to know. I grew up around that area and it was mostly all nuclear power. In PA, I lived near-ish to two of them.

    Cool your heading further north. You'll get quite a treat in Maine if you decide to go that far. Cheap sea food (lobster for 5 bucks) and all the Stephan King lore. My dad was roomates with a book seller that helped King find some of the first editions of his books and that guy became one of Kings close friends in Maine.

Thanks for visiting!

    You're in my neck of the woods, I grew up going to AI DuPont Children's Hospital in Wilmington from my home in Pennsylvania, not every road has tolls, we never hit any on our way to my hospital for Doctor's appointments. They have NO sales tax, but the property taxes are very high. I also new a bunch about Baltimore because I used to go on day trips there quite frequently.

    Live in slower lower Delaware, no tolls down here, the tolls are for the enormous influx of cars on our roads so we can fix all the damage that the summer traffic does to the roads going to Lewes and Rehoboth beach. was excited to see you were in little Delaware....the first state1

    A receiving vault, or receiving tomb, was commonly used to temporarily store bodies during the winter months when the ground was too frozen to dig a permanent grave. Modern digging technology has rendered them obsolete.

    It's pronounced have er Dee Grace. I lived at Aberdeen Proving Grounds nearby. They used to have a large ordnance museum there, but moved it to Ft. Lee, VA. A new museum was supposed to be built, so all the tanks and guns are in storage. Also Havre de Grace has one of the smallest lighthouses in the country.

Interesting to see that they were bringing back the cobbled streets, but they certainly suited the atmosphere of the area way better than asphalt. That was AWESOME!!! Im a BIG NASCAR fan and that was cool to see. It's called The Monster Mile because that track eats up a lot of cars. That monument is a LARGE version of the winners trophy. just an FYI.
