Love Savannah! It is so beautiful! The river walk, the historic homes are so beautiful! Thanks for showing this beautiful city. Makes me want to go back.
As a resident of Hilton Head Island, SC for 3 years and who works in Savannah, GA, I've learned so much about this city in this video than in real life. I find it fascinating yet sad on my end lol
Hello and good morning, Adam! Fairly recent subscriber here. I love your personality!! Thanks for being so awesome, and providing videos fit for all ages. You're quite the inspiration.
I love that city. Those houses in the city like the one you showed and those streets and those restaurants and the waterfront and..... ok let me stop. I'm so glad you went to Savannah!
So pretty there. My sister went to Savannah once with her friend.... they were filming Forest Gump at the time.... she was able to get a distant picture of Tom Hanks filming the scene on the bench. She got some other shots of all the camera equipment and stuff... she said the only thing was, while cool to see a movie being filmed, it blocked off so much the city they wanted to see. So they went back a few years later........ only to find they were filming Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil..... they kind of gave up on trying to see Savannah.
I really miss Savannah. Had a job interview years ago there and was there early, so I was just wandering around. One of the lawyers on the waterfront invited me in to see the river from the balcony of the office. The building inside was amazing. People there are super nice. Didn't get the job though.
Loop, swoop, and Pull. lol great moment when you tied your shoe. Good morning ATW and everyone too! Savannah is awesome. One of my favorite vlogs so far.....
What an enchanting town! Beautiful architecture, beautiful gardens, so many historical attractions and the constantly changing beauty of the river and all of it's travelers. Just watching the vid, I could understand your point about it being a nice place to settle down. Just something about the way the whole own radiates a welcoming aura. How fortunate you are to be able to visit places like this Adam....and how fortunate we are that you can take us along with you! Cheers mate!
When I was a kid, none of the McDonald's locations (there were very few back then) nor any other fast food place had drive-thru windows. They all had walk-up windows or car hop service. Car hop service was quickly phased out to the walk-up windows. What's even more amazing was that this was the birthplace of fast food, here in the Inland Empire, but still no drive-thrus. The McDonald brothers in San Bernardino made the walk-up window popular. The first drive-thru I experienced was a new place called Jack in the Box, back in 1967. That was near LAX with its new theme building. The gimmick to attract families with children was that you gave your order to a talking jack-in-the-box clown. It was an amazing invention back then and it now seems remarkable that there was a time without drive-thrus. It was certainly a different time because it was even unusual to pump your own gas.
Brett Jeffries, I know what You're talking about, the walk-ups, drive-thrus in So.Cal., & like Jack-in-the-Box clown face, lol. Takes Me back to the easier times of living.. The only car-hops left now are Sonics. And, an ol' A&W in Mesa, AZ, that I know of.. I think I'll go for an A&W Root Beer Float this aftrn. c:
Betty Luckey A&W is awesome. There's only one maybe two drive in locations left remotely near me, that I have yet to visit. Even so, I'm glad they usually have pictures of old locations dining area, as well as other vintage looking decor even if it's not really vintage. They are trying to boost their appeal to younger people, but not at the expense of forgetting their history. I hope they make somewhat of a comeback. One drive in not too far from me closed a few years ago, and other locations have disappeared as well, some that were only open for a year or two. Now they seem to be getting back on the right track.
Good morning, Adam!! Back in 97, my girlfriend and I were driving south to our new home in South Beach, on the way, we stopped in old Savannah, we stayed two days, I fell in love with it, and seriously considered just moving there, as we had the U-Haul full of our stuff, I even bought a local paper to see what was available work-wise, we wound up going on the SB. Ah, the memories!
As much as I enjoyed your Florida vlogs, nothing beats the excitement of trying to guess "where's woo" each day Keep up the good work 🎥👍🏻 And thank you from the UK 🇬🇧
"If I was to do that, they'd probably ban me." Well said Adam seems like there's alot of truth to that here lately. Love the vlog Adam keep a the great work.
Adam - You may want to check out Downtown Greenville, SC if you get into that neck of the woods in North-Eastern SC. They have an epic cemetary that goes back to pre-Civil War and lots of Civil War Soldiers were buried there. Then there's downtown Greenville which is really charming, and Reedy River with this amazing pedestrian suspension bridge. I think you'd enjoy it. :-)
It has changed to "was" possibly due to Mandela Effect ... look it up... it said "is" originally....many changes to music as well. We are the Champions no longer ends ... "of the world".... but there are many changes according to mine and many others reality as well...
+Sora Song First off where is this coming from? Adam didnt say a word. Second, you are perfectly fine with insulting people's faith by calling it "mythology", but you are so sensitive to the mere mention of anything religious that you can't just move on? It's a two way street.
I went there with my former Girl Scout troop back in the summer of 2012! We went to every place you went to and it was so cool to see you venture to all of those places! Savannah holds a special place in my heart!
I sell hot dogs for a living. As the person putting them together, I'm not a fan of the Chicago dog, because they take a lot of prep work and require otherwise-not-used ingredients. But I've noticed that those who do love them, REALLY love them... perhaps even become a bit... obsessed. :-)
It just hit me....One of the key things that make your vlog so appealing to me - how early you attack the day. Every episode takes me on a mini vacation. Thanks so much.
What a lovely town. Really old world, but with a modern feel.............. that hot dog looked so good.... love the big wedge of pickle on the top.............. Happy travels Adam.
Just subscribed to the channel. Truly enjoy the tid bits, history, and sincerity. Will continue to watch and enjoy! Big Props Adam. Thank you for taking is with you!
I really liked the time lapse video of the boat heading down the river. Hope you visit Roanoke Island and make a video there - I've always been interested in the lost colony.
Back in the saddle again Woo, Nicly done! Didn't know how much I missed your creative side . Keep Up the Good Work! You can stay in any place you want and live there for a short time. It's called Airbnb spend a week or two and hit the road again.
If you stop in North Carolina, check out the Old Laurel Hill Church where General Sherman stopped over back during the Civil War. There are musket/ bullet holes in the door from Sherman's March. located in Scotland County, NC. Also the historic John Blue house in LAURINBURG. BOTH locations are located in Scotland County North Carolina.
Gotta love that paper mill smell in Savannah Georgia. Mr. Woo, Rochester needs you to do a video here;) Gonna post on every vlog until you come visit this wonderful city.
Excellent vlog today Adam! We enjoy all your vlogs but this one is up there in my top 5!! Thank you for keeping us entertained and allowing us in to your world
We made a trip to Savanah once and enjoyed it hope to go back - thanks for the reminders of the reasons why and the things we didn't get to see and will look for if we get back. - We had thought about getting up really early and going to Plains, GA and attend President Jimmy Carter's S.S. Class (he was in town that week) but we just didn't think we could get up that early and drive that far - so we hung around a little longer before heading home - nice little town - SCAD is the Art College and a big deal in the Art careers
The Hilton Savannah Desoto in the area is a hotel that Elvis stayed at during his tours in the 70's. As well as the Savannah civic center is where he preformed. It's really cool to take a look.
I love that "Where in the World is AdamTheWoo" feeling I'm getting again (even though your Florida vlogs were awesome!!) and I can't believe that's the Forrest Gump location! Awesome. Have a good day, Adam,
Hey Adam, if you end up going to Charleston, check out the Charleston Water Taxi! It'll take you from downtown to across the harbor where you can explore a WWII aircraft carrier. (I maintain the water taxi's facebook page.....had to shamelessly promote it lol)
Tampa has the Tampa Water Bike Company. I have video on my channel somewhere. It's like an exercise bike connected to floats and a paddle. You can also take it to explore the old WWII ship the SS American Victory.
Or you could always drive Large Marge over the Ravenal Bridge and park her somewhere, explore the aircraft carrier (which is about as awesome as it sounds.....name is USS Yorktown), then take the water taxi into downtown to explore (the streets of downtown Charleston are probably a pain in an RV). One water taxi ticket is good for all day with no limit as to how long you stay on the boat or how many times you get off/on the boat. AND I can almost guarantee that you'll see some dolphins eventually....sometimes right next to the boat. Enjoy dude!
Awesome! I was in Savannah just this past December. I do remember an aroma haha! And, I totally agree when traveling I picture myself living in different cities...I think my list is at about 10-15.
You should come to Danville, VA. On the border of NC and VA. Last capital of the confederacy museum, Wreck of the Old 97, US tank museum, a river that flows west-east instead of north-south, old tobacco district with cobblestone streets, etc.
I so want to go to Savannah. It's so historical. Smells do that to me. Especially cut grass reminds me of my dad. Thanks Adam!! Got my WOO FIX for the day whoop!!!!😀😀😀😀
I'm so glad your in Savannah! I live in Macon and go to Savannah every so often and always head to river street. The waving girl I believe was waiting on her husband to come back from war and never returned. And the smallest church you were at the day before burned down a couple of years ago and was rebuilt. I'm not sure if there was a sign saying that. I visited it the summer before it burned. Keep going Adam! I love the vlogs!!
you can park for free on sundays in the visitors center or first hour free other days. Across the street there is a railroad museum with free parking Although you got to get there when it closes when the gate closes it closes
Savannah Georgia is my dream city! I want to live there so bad! Thank you so much for this video - I always say I travel vicariously through you - and to see more of my favorite city just proves that! :) Thanks so much, Adam.
I love how genuinly curious you seem to be,and how respectful you are of the places you go. it says a lot about you. have you ever had a boot put on Large Marge?
the waving girl of savannah used to wave to her brother when they were leaving & also when they came back in, he was a sailor on one of the ships that left every day! You really should visit the pirate's house in savannah!
Love Savannah! It is so beautiful! The river walk, the historic homes are so beautiful!
Thanks for showing this beautiful city. Makes me want to go back.
When I was growing up, we went to Savannah and Tybee Island four times. We loved it. I always wanted to live there. Still do.
As a resident of Hilton Head Island, SC for 3 years and who works in Savannah, GA, I've learned so much about this city in this video than in real life. I find it fascinating yet sad on my end lol
SCAD is the Sav. College of Art and Design. They fixed up that old theater up to showcase student projects. Huge art college there.
Haven't been there since 2000, but I always loved going to Savannah. Just had a certain feel to it.

Went to Savannah last year, beautiful place. When I walked down those Historical steps, I was scared for my life...
Thank you Adam.
As much as I enjoyed your Florida vlogs, nothing beats the excitement of trying to guess "where's woo" each day
Keep up the good work 🎥👍🏻
And thank you from the UK 🇬🇧
JF Grillo I believe someone on the "adam the woovians" Facebook page updates a map of his adventures too 👍🏻
So, what's your guess on where he is today? Inquiring minds wanna know. 😀 I think he is having a Tyler visit.
Eddie R That was yesterday's footage that was broadcasted today.
Probably another day or two in Savannah and then Charleston. I have a guess he is going straight up the coast
I like all of his vlogs, no matter where he goes!
Went to Savannah and Charleston 2 years ago, Savannah has to be my favorite city in the U.S. Great vlog.
Its crazy i was there for a week and i still didn't see all the things you saw in a day . forrest gumps bench is in the visitors center as well
Savannah is only 3 hrs away from where I live. I started to drive down there yesterday.
When I saw the photo & caption I thought "Oh no, what's Adam done now?!". Lol.
Cool, the music the busker was playing and you used was a piece written by Mason Williams is called, Classical Gas..
What a beautiful place! A sunny reprieve from today’s gloomy weather here. Moon River was my dad’s favorite song, brings back memories. Thanks Adam!
That bike is a penny farthing. I could see you doing some sweet jumps with that thing. Feature it in your next vlog!
"If I was to do that, they'd probably ban me." Well said Adam seems like there's alot of truth to that here lately. Love the vlog Adam keep a the great work.

I adore Savannah. The Riverwalk is awesome.
I grew up in Savannah. The church you went by with the bells ringing is where my high school graduation was. the school was right next door! so cool!
Sonny Shroyer was Bear Bryant in Forest Gump. Tom Hanks was star struck when he saw Sonny on the set.
I think my lunch today will be of the hot dog variety... That Chicago dog looked so good!!

I could see you living in one of those awesome buildings for sale! Beautiful town thanks for showing us Adam! Be safe and thanks as always
Your lunch entertainer was playing " Classical Gas". Will now forever be known as "Woo-gas".
Just came back from vacation and we found Dole Whip at Belmont Park in San Diego. That stuff is really good👌
That town looks like it would be a nice town to live in, looks really peaceful and beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
That square does look similar but it's missing the crows! Lots of history in that area!
It just hit me....One of the key things that make your vlog so appealing to me - how early you attack the day. Every episode takes me on a mini vacation. Thanks so much.

There were so many cool things here. I hope you return for a longer stay. And perhaps vlog from the river boat.

Michael Dudley that's what I thought
"I thought the paddle wheel moved the boat, but alas, it was just a PROP".
The Hilton Savannah Desoto in the area is a hotel that Elvis stayed at during his tours in the 70's. As well as the Savannah civic center is where he preformed. It's really cool to take a look.
