Cantata Review | Too Little in Too Much

Cantata, developed by Afterschool Studio, is a tactics game with grand strategy elements, where you control regions across a map to generate units and resources for your army. While the art direction and concept of Cantata each caught my attention, the game itself slowly soured over time. In fact it's one of the few games that I didn't finish prior to writing this review because the problems I personally had with it were so glaring and consistent.

this game looks cool but i wish there was a bit more flare to the unit combat, not super exciting to just watch hp numbers go down when fighting in a strategy game imo
good review tho this helped me figure out if i wanted it or not :)
