I really did care much about painting rims but I got an 1986 about ten years ago and my daughter helped me piece about five trucks together to make it ugly but a working truck 4 years ago when she turned 16 she claimed it as hers which made me proud of her. To keep my story from getting to long I loved your video just because it brought back some good memories of my daughter so thank you.
Good job but it helps to clean and paint the back side of rim so dirt doesn't fling out to the painted side.learning do it yourself maintenance price less.everyone all ready commented on center caps.
I typed in "5x7 headlights circle" in google and some popped up by TrueMod. I also found some by Loyo. There are a few vids on YT with them installed in YJs and Cherokees.
That awesome you teaching your daughter. I did notice her long hair and thought she could put it up for safety reasons. It could easily get caught in a rotating tool or motor.
That is a great first vehicle for a young lady. One insurance is lower because of the number of passengers that fit in the truck. Two, this would likely get less damage in an accident than a car. Three, your daughter would likely have less chance for injury in the truck. Most important, it looks good.

It's awesome that you're passing on knowledge and skills to your kids, but honestly you need to take a chill pill dude. She was doing awesome and you spent more time telling her she was doing it wrong than teaching her how to do it. Show had the intuition to know the something didn't feel right with the window handle bolt all the while you're pushing her to just do screw it on. Then jump to "don't cross thread it." Like maybe she knew what she was talking about.
Nice truck. The engine bay looks clean and uncluttered. I'd be proud to own one like that. I actually thought that FORDS got too complicated and stuffed with unnecessary stuff after the 70s, but I was wrong.
I saw where Derek Bieri on VICE GRIP GARAGE, before head would inflate the tire or bead it, he used garbage bags to mask the tires when painting the wheel rims. Obviously, he'd inflate and bead the tire flush to the rims afterwards. It's a cool and cheap technique. No taping needed. In your instance for this episode you would have to deflate the tires to get them below the rim to stretch the garbage bags around.

Always go back and check the torque on lug nuts after installing. Never trust your impact to tighten them properly.

Center caps on first then the rims then torque wrench
And belt needs to be tightened

Take the bottom off of an old swivel rocker. Place the wheel on it and spin as you paint it will save you 40 trips around the wheels.
When you put the wheels on the blue f150 the center caps on the rear wheels go on first behind the wheel....not on the outside

REAR CENTER CAPS ARE PUT ON WRONG SHOULD BE PUT ON BEFORE THE RIM. LOL
Spray some WD40 on the fan belts to quiet them down.

Impack wrenches don't always get the lug nuts tight enough you may want to check the torque on them
