Currently I'm unemployed, so waking up in a bit of a mood is normal I reach for the phone to check messages or missed calls NOPE...but I see Carnage has uploaded, grab a coffee now the day is not so bad. This day I've been waiting for in particular very curious what numbers this combo would produce...WOW.
Chin up mate, there's still plenty of opportunities out there for an honest man with a good attitude who can handle a day's work.
Those are attributes which anyone who's employing people will tell you are getting rarer and rarer by the day.
Good luck man, hope your fortunes turn around as resoundingly as the Lexcen's have.

Finally a Commodore with a proper V8 engine that fans from all sides can respect.
That said that last shot when you hit the booster less brakes ... yeesh the nose dive and pull to the left, it's gonna need suspension work Soctty.

@@Low760 Yeah, I watch them both, but I also watch 150 other channels, so unless I watch them often, then I usually miss the notifications.
@@Brock_Landers the skid factory started with the 1uz 5 years ago in the Fairlane and nugget garage was like 2 years ago. There was less Australian content then. But definitely there is more American video junk.
Just finished binge watching the Lexcen series yesterday as I'm doing my own 1UZ turbo swap. And now this comes out, Perfect!!

Awesome result Scotty, inspiration for my SC400 project. I noticed the Skidfactory 1UZ Fairlane ran hot also and they deleted the thermostat which fixed the problem.

Wagons and roof racks aren't that great, you put stuff in the cabin. They just damage the roof paint.

Congrats Scotty, you've really kicked some goals this year and that's a great way to finish the year. I'd sort out the heating issues before taking it to the Nats tho, everything gets hot there and you dont want to hurt the motor you just sorted.
1UZ has a cool note anyway and the turbo adds a really nice edge. Very cool car, and yes very much a sleeper!

Put a better set of either twin thermo fans or an fg single fan in it! Even setup a water sprayer system onto the radiator to keep it cooler in the hotter weather !

Should get in contact with the lads at hartley engines and motorsport for some big boy internals for later. If they can take the hammering the superstock guys give them, they can handle a turbo throwing boost at them.

nice one scotty. Thats mint.. I had many cooling issues with my old setup. Ran twin au falcon fans and extansion tank (ran more volume of coolant cause toyota soarer has one factory). thats what kept it cool for me.

Mate, can guarantee you it won't be hot at Summernats this...er, next year. Up in Canberra, we're still waiting for summer to arrive. Oh, and congrats for getting the thing moving!
Yea, thatten's gonna be a handful!!!! Bloody strong power out of that set up!!! For the heat maybe look at shortening the fan shroud? Wondering if having it sit that close to the front of the engine with the turbo x-over pipe down there isn't allowing the air to move around the engine and out the back of the engine bay easily.
That thing sounds so awesome, we all need some more street driving footage 😍😍
