The filter comes out and there's a hinge you can open to further rinse...thanks for the video, doing our floor now. My wife uses this machine, 1st time for me, but I do clean it for her once used

You’re actually supposed to rinse the filter and let it dry in the sun before replacing it in the machine. I love my Bissel Crosswave. I have a bad back, so sweeping and mopping are a chore. Now, I can clean my floors in less than half the time by (sweeping/mopping) in one pass. I would love to have the new steam kind. @Bissell needs to send me one to promote for them lol😂
