Hi charu i want to ask, i think you make vid about pokemon xy say something about shounen and serena and xy companion am i delusional or the vid is gone i cannot find it ?
I get Ash doesn’t have Greninja on standby but that doesn’t mean he can’t go and find it again. He made a special trip to find Greninja in a random forest in Kalos just for it to help train Lucario. I get Greninja doesn’t have the biggest defeats when compared to Lucario but I do think it’s stronger than Lucario for sure.

Solid team. It’s very different than other ultimate teams which typically only consist of Aces. I like how u explained ur reasons for the choices u picked it made them make sense.
You make a good point, and this will definitely be ash's ultimate team. love this video, but i gotta wonder if ash kept his Greninja and maybe his other released pokemon
When Ash went to Johto for the first time, he realized how unfair it is to bring his overleveled Charizard and pit it against a Chikorita of a trainer who just started her journey (lmao). Since then, Ash always only brings Pikachu each new region. If he brings his original team of 6, we wouldve probably steam rolled the other regions. Oooor maybe not because Leon was still very strong.
Great picks and solid points. Personally I would’ve added Dracovish somewhere on the team. Just to have the Grass, Fire and Water combination. Plus it’s shown to be pretty bulky in its fight with Leon and has the strong jaw ability. The only thing I would change is its move water gun. Maybe give it rain dance to boost Fishious Rend or rock blast or stone edge just to have a projectile move.
Replace Gengar with Dracovish. Sirfetch'd deserves a spot as well (Its literally impossible not to include Sirfetch'd, Dracovish and Dragonite on Ash's ultimate team anyways, considering they defeated Champion and Elite 4 level opponents without a power-up, unlike Lucario and Gengar, who needed the power-up and even then Mega Lucario got made Leons Dragapults bitch). The problem is that Snorlax needs to be included as well (It literally solo'd a Frontier Brain). I am sorry for Sceptile being left out then, but you really don't need Sceptile at all for coverage when you have a Dracovish (For Rock and Ground coverage) on the team as well.
@@nickdentoom1173 I really wouldn’t say Lucario was made a bitch, it just got hit with paralysis. Plus with Sceptile,it just doesn’t make the team as vulnerable to ground moves, not just ground types and gives extra resistance against electric types. Plus it gives a bit more speed. Yeah Snorlax soloed Greata but it’s not like Sceptile’s feat with Spencer isn’t impressive. Either one is a good pick
@@nickdentoom1173 Calling Lucario Dracovish bitch is a bit of a strong word as it only lost to paralysis. As for Snorlax, it can easily go either way for Sceptile and Snorlax. I just feel Sceptile should stay due to its speed and resistance against both electric and ground attacks.
The Problem is that its not about Winrate at all... but about feats (If we take winrate into account, Pikachu and Charizard won't be on here at all). Lucario and Gengar are literally the weakest members of the Journeys mons, if we look at the feats. Sirfetch'd - defeats an Elite 4 Mega Evolution without a Power-up (Unlike Greninja). Dracovish - Defeats Champion level opponents without Power-ups (Iris and Leons Rillaboom - who is the second strongest member on his team) Dragonite - Solo's a Mega users and defeats Champion level mons without a power-up Lucario - defeats Champion level mons with a Power up (Mega Evolution). Gets made Leons Dragapults bitch, despite the Power-up (ergo, Lucario isn't as strong as people think) Gengar - Defeats opponents (Who aren't even champion level) with power-ups, the only one it defeated without a power-up was Stevens Aggron. Melmetal is an issue in itself as well, especially since Lycanroc was clearly supposed to be the strongest Alola mon (It even Solo'd a Kahuna). Like... thats literally the problem for Rankings like these... the Journeys mons should be in his top 6 overall strongest, since they battled and defeated Elite 4 and Champion level opponents and even then you can debate about Gengar and Lucario, because they needed power-ups to do so. So his ultimate team Charizard Pikachu Snorlax Dracovish Dragonite Sirfetch'd (Sorry for Sceptile, but while Darkrai is a legendary, it wasn't a 1v1 and it took 4 other mons to weaken Darkrai, which takes away from Sceptiles feat).
Alright If We're Going Off Of Feats Then I Think Infernape Should Be Up For Debate. Infernape Fought Both Moltres And Charizard Who Are Legendary Level Mons Without His Blaze-Form And Even Sought Out Moltres For A Greater Challenge After His Battle With Charizard, Infernape's One Of Ash's Most Durable Mons Tanking 10+ Air Slashes And Getting Slammed Into A Boulder By Moltres And Still Wanted To Continue His 1v1 And Likely Would've If It Wasn't For Gary Getting In The Way. His Second Best Feat Is Mastering His Blaze-Form With Zero Training Required Contrast To Mons Like Ash's Greninja Ash's Lucario And Corrina's Lucario Who All Needed Some Kind Of Training To Master There Form's While Infernape Didn't And Like How Lucario Can Use His Spirit Bomb Aura Sphere In Base Or Using Mega-Evolution Infernape Can Use His Special Move Blue Flare Blitz In Base Without Using His Blaze-Form Or Just Use Regular Flare Blitz Since Journeys Showed He's Capable Of Using Both Similarly To Greninja With His Golden Water Shuriken Or His Big Regular Water Shuriken.
