  • Hey FIT-GAMERS,
    With this FIT-GAMER Fight Move episode, we are looking at a combo takedown from Nightwing! He first enters into range with a backhand strike to the hand and a forehand strike to the head. Then he uses a basic technique to break the elbow joint to finish the opponent.

    Hey joey B, love your work bro. Big inspiration to my work outs. Was hoping you would do a batman arkham Knight- red hood, because when he's not shooting up bad guys he's often using escrima with his guns similar to what nightwing does.

    • @JoeyBslash3
      @JoeyBslash3  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Rubin Schutz-Wagland Awesome! I'm glad I can help. Lots of people have been requesting red hood recently. And you're right, he does use escrima moves like Nightwing does. They actually reuse many of his animations in the game.

    Nice one Joey!! Good control with those Komagongs!! I like idea of Nightwing using the Karate block/strike Osoto uke (outside block) to hyperextend the elbow. Awesome job Joey!! High fives!!

    • @JoeyBslash3
      @JoeyBslash3  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Karasu Muhammad Yea, I like the idea as well. I prefer to use the weapon itself to contribute to the lock/break/throw

    Now I finally understand what rightwing does in this particular move, it was hard to notice in gameplay. Nightwing must be as strong as his papa to break that arm with a stick in hand!
    lol I said "rightwing"

    JoeyBslash3: Would you do one on the knife fight from Sinners & Saints? I know some things, but I'm trying to find out more on martial arts- so I'd really prefer some videos on kali principles (ex: biomechanics, the fact that the body doesn't resist circular motion very well, the fact that a lot going on visually or with tactile sensation diverts the attention which can the effort, etc...) or things on other martial arts like that.

    Nice. Can you do some moves of Sam Fisher from Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell video games? Every game in that series is different, so there are different moves, so you may want to try to do takedown moves from Splinter Cell Conviction or Blacklist because he doesn't have those moves in previous old games in series.

    • @JoeyBslash3
      @JoeyBslash3  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      For sure...I did a move from Blacklist already. There are some others that I want to do...

    another option is to put your inside wrist on his inside wrist and pull it to your body. i also like your punyo suggestion, but it seems like connecting at the wrist, them wrapping it with the stick would be more secure

    • @JoeyBslash3
      @JoeyBslash3  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Tyler Staley ah I see what you mean. That might be a good variation. Things get complicated with locks and breaks when you have an impact weapon in your hand. Maybe I will do a video to show how to use the weapon for a lock or break, instead of using the forearm.

    Another great video! Well noticed about the grab! Hey, I know this is silly as fuck, but maybe do some Saints Row 2 combo sequences? There are like 4 martial styles with many movements, they are pretty quick and easy to understand so I'm not sure if it's worth your time, but I thought it was worth mentioning :-P .

    • @JoeyBslash3

    amm does your partner know you're not going to actually hit him?
    because he dodges and goes backward
    I assume it makes things more complicated for you when explaining

    • @JoeyBslash3
      @JoeyBslash3  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks! Yes, he does know, but it doesn't hurt to have more safety. Plus, when we spar with rattan sticks, we sometimes spar with no gear and at full power and full speed, with control of course. Sometimes accidents happen and you get hit, so we know how it feels. It's just a natural response lol

    I really need to learn how to defend myself with escrima and my bare hands if I don't have em on me...and to ME nightwings fighting style seems to fit me more me honestly I don't know how to fight other than do deadly choke holds to break a neck or bone...

    • @JoeyBslash3
      @JoeyBslash3  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Gameboy Jotaro Nightwing's fighting style is known to be Escrima, which is what I have exclusively trained for years. However, he does very acrobatic moves that i would not recommend for real life. In real life, simplicity is key, especially when working with weapons. But the fitness aspect is definitely there, even with the high kicks and all.
