It won't work if you look at it and train it exactly how you see it in the game. It's a video game made for entertainment. Are the moves based on real strikes and martial arts? Absolutely

@@aaryanbhagat4852 The strikes a good actually. It's just that the vertical elbow is awkward and you need to change range with footwork in order for it to be effective. Also, it is always better to attack from the flank position, so setting up the combo is key as well. This is more of a finishing move, so stunning or damaging the opponent beforehand is best. Also, if your opponent has room to maneuver and has any notion of decent footwork, this combo won't work

Hey Joey I commented last time about thanking you for the video but actually started practicing this and I'm seeing some improvement but I must ask on the footwork I see that that's the most bothering to me how should it be done accordingly to the steps you've given us thanks and keep up the good work
The best way to usually enter in on an opponent is from an angle or the flank position. To achieve this, you must get off centerline and then enter. My favorite way for this is using male/forward triangle footwork. Then to continue pushing the opponent back, use the step slide

In the game the palm strikes are closed fists from what I've always seen. And looking at the video with the close ups it seems to be that. I think he sometimes throws palms but rarely. In the video it looks closed.

You're welcome! Yes, I should definitely do some from the Tekken series. I know of a combo from Kazuya that he gained in Tekken 4 that I really liked, and it's a fun one

Very nice demonstration. I'm curious, have you played/scene Arkham Origins? During the end of the game, there's a unique beatdown with Batman striking Joker and I'm curious how that one would be performed.

If you're doing palm at the same height of your shoulder there will be awkward on the wrist so I suggest trying this with punch instead.
I dont agree. I feel fine with a palm strike at shoulder level. I don't mean to strike with the middle of your palm, but the bottom part closer to the wrist.
@@JoeyBslash3 Ah yes, in my experience there is pain if the hit is in a straight line if there is a little upwards motion I don't feel pain.

Headbuts are usually never recommended by trainers, they serve for as a last resort countermeasure if all other limbs are restrained.
Well i wouldnt headbutt someone like batman does. You can get a concussion doing it that way. If you headbutt, it is best to use the area right above the forehead, since it is the most dense. And usually you bring your opponents face to your head, not the other way around.
How come trainerd would never recommend it? Why would they say as a last resort? A headbutt is a great surprise attack and a great finisher.
JoeyBslash 3 it's really easy to do it improperly and hurt yourself more than you're hurting your enemy/opponent
With the correct training, it's fairly safe in my opinion

In order to perform a beatdown you need to stun your opponent quickly just like in the game. Any idea how to that in real life?Also in arkham Knight there's move called the break-out when someone grbs you from behind. Would love it if you made a video about that
A quick eye jab would be effective in stunning your opponent. Just make sure you land it and hit their forehead lol. I think I know which move you are talking about. He elbows and strikes them to break the grapple from behind

Nah he has more beat down finishers like when he's by a ledge or when he's by a wall or a table you should add when he counters mid beat down because they are unique like when he's by a wall he'll jump off the wall and punch some one

I'd like to hear more of your opinion on batman techniques. Personally, I don't like the headbutt and find the palmstrike misplaced.
Headbutts are very useful and devastating if done correctly, however this headbutt is just for show and looks cool. Plus, Batman has a hard shell for his mask, so the way he does it in the game and movies should work.Why do you feel the palmstrike is misplaced? In reality, I prefer palm strikes, slaps, or open handed strikes over punches any day of the week. Punching is for entertainment. Our hands are not meant to hit that way, that's why boxers have to wrap their hands in tape and padding, yet they still break their hands often enough. You can always generate more speed and power with open hand strikes if you actually train them, and you don't really have to worry about your hands being broken.
JoeyBslash 3 I saw the palmstrike primarily for attacking the head. On the chest it has the problem of distributing the impact on a far greater surface.
+edi agreed, the palm strikes would be more effective if they were to the head. However that may not be the purpose of these strikes. Perhaps they are for unbalancing or distracting the opponent to set up the elbow and body shots

Cool! I'm all in for ambidextrous training! Hey, I always wondered, what does it takes to get a POWERFUL spinning kick? Because I can spin alright but wouldn't do much damage.
+TheDEATHHIT A powerful spinning kick requires balance, really good timing, and torque. Benny "the jet" Urquidez had a great spinning back kick to the liver of his opponents. That's the main purpose of a spin kick, to generate torque for more power. It's elusive as well, but you can make a roundhouse kick elusive with broken timing and fakes.
My tip is work on the first part of the motion without throwing a kick out. Just work the spinning motion, turning your head to look at the target, and replanting your foot after the full spin. Be sure to spin on the ball of your foot, meaning the front area. Then when you feel comfortable, extend the leg and put the kick in. Allow your body to do he work and just lift the leg

Do you mean in a real life scenario? The Arkham Knight beatdown is pretty much the same.

The strikes are valid, just not really in this combination. The two best strikes presented here are the palm strikes, in my opinion. The way he strikes the upward elbow is tough to land and doesn't lend itself to many targets. I have issue with the way he throws it, not necessarily that it is a vertical elbow.
So for a more effective beat down move I should leave out the elbow as much as possible use a punch once or twice and mainly focus on the palm strikes and if I could replace the elbow what should I replace it with ?

Then you have to adapt. If the opponent counters or interrupts this, then you will be countered. That's why Batman "stuns" his opponent first before performing the combo. Otherwise a counter is likely. So, it is always best to stun an opponent before trying some kind of combination like this

Eye jab is always a good stunning move. Ear slap or double ear slap. Eye jab is more reliable though, it will stop anybody in their tracks.

Well, in a self defense manner this could be very damaging, especially since you can hit open handed, which can cause concussions, and you are using an elbow strike. When using an elbow, you can create a lot of damage within one strike, and they are sneaky. The lower shot needs to be on point to the solar plexus or liver to do a significant amount of damage.

Probably not...hitting someone with these strikes in this order is not very efficient. But it all depends on where you hit them and how well they can take a hit
