My name is Karol Devaney and I'm a Hill Farmer and Sheep Shearer from Sligo in the Northwest of Ireland. 💚
Every week I put up Vlogs of what I'm getting up to on the farm, plus the odd podcast with special guests. 🥰
If you enjoy my videos and like watching regular farming content, you should subscribe to the channel!

Please do not feel you need to apologize to your viewers for capturing the reality of your shepherding life. I personally find it all very interesting. I'm not a farmer, but I hand-process sheep fleece, spin and knit it. I appreciate following the steps involved in shepherding whether it's for wool production or meat.
No apologies! You’re working. I appreciate any videos you have time for. Lambs come first. 😊
You think that it is just the same again and again but we like to see you walking and checking each ewe and her lambs. It's great to see little families together on the hills.
Don’t apologize about your content! I am a silly city lass from Across the Pond, living north of Atlanta, Georgia USA and not from a farming background - but I really appreciate seeing how farmers from all over the planet, do the work that feeds the world. A couple years back when my husband and visited Ireland, we saw Mayo Blackface sheep for the first time - and they remain one of my favorites for all the reasons you have mentioned, plus the fact they look like the sheep little kids draw when they imagine any sheep. Seeing how your flock and ground differs from others is interesting, even for us city folk.
OMG - 'The Lambulance' haha....
Showing your every day jobs is brilliant content
I totally agree. Great video.👍🏻
A sheep crook would be very handy for catching lambs. Enjoy the videos thanks for sharing.
I was thinking the same. Great content here for sure, and nice people in the comments section.
Good god Karl, you must be exhausted. Well done for getting the lambs home along with Mam. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
26:31 aww them little lambs were truly enjoying the ride on the quad.
Hope the weather gets better for further lambing.
The first Sheep with the longer wool and the black face was so adorable.. love the sheep on the bike, they took it like it was an everyday occurrence
You are you doing great on the videos lambing is a very busy time don’t worry if your videos are not everyday.
Wow , how do you keep them sorted !? What a job . Thank goodness only once a year .
The land scape is so different all over .
You are doing a constant job .
Be safe take care .
Great video. Love the shot of you having the ewe beside ya on the quad.
Love watching these lambing videos, thank you for putting in the hours to share them🫶
Thanks Fer explaining everything that is going on.
On another farm the Lady suzann she gave her premature lamb colosterum a couple of time like you are .it took a couple of days but the lamb came through .
Another interesting and hard work .
Take care thankyou .
This longer vlog made up for any missed days Karol. Every upload is great for us, especially when lambing time comes round, but the sheep come before videos.
You could just put the camera in the pen with any pet lambs and most people are happy. Then you can go about checking the fields and not worry about vlogging.
So glad you checked up on that last one. And it is the best feeling knowing you saved the little one.
That look following the bikers! 😅. Great video!
Love your content - anyone else found themselves new to the channel and now binge-watching?
Thanks so much Alexandra!
Hope you get good weather to make things a little easier ❤️😊
Loved the look you gave as you passed the bikers 😂😂 we feel your pain 😬
🚴♂️😤👍😂
Wow, moving those Crystalyx tubs is a lot easier when they are empty!
Could see how really happy you' were saved the lamb great video
please do not apologize, your vids are interesting no matter what you do
Thanks for the vlog. Enjoy them all .
So happy that your day ended on such a great note, the lamb is living! Thank you for taking the time and the extra energy to film during the hectic lambing season. Much appreciated!❤❤🐑🐑
Beautiful ewes , gorgeous lambs. Love the black and whites.
Luv your videos no apologies necessary. Appreciate all you do putting out videos at one of the busiest times of year.💞🍀🤗
Good save on the last lamb ❤
Brilliant work ❤
Thanks Karl that was good, surprised you get joint ill on that ground, you would assume that is as clean as you are going to get and looks dry ish given the rain that’s fell.
I hit the like button after seeing your face following the cyclist 🚴, I feel your pain from Australia
Well done! A tough few days! 🐨👍
You have much better lambing ground than the barnastooka lads. A bit of shelter when it’s wet and wild is so important 👍🏻
I laughed at the look you gave following the bikers. Made me laugh.
Great videos Karl and I guess you are in Co Sligo as the mountain in the background looks like Ben bulben . Best of luck to you with your farming and hope the wet weather will go away soon .
Job looks good mate. 👍 I have a command for my dogs, in behind, they just stay right behind you and follow you everywhere without going past you. They are kelpies though, super dogs 😜
Great stuff Karl I appreciate all the time and effort you put into producing the videos on top of carrying out your work, I too share your love of cyclists 😂
my experience when you find them flat out is that they belly is empty and the cold won out. they need warmed up and feed and usually fair pretty well.. good luck mate
That lamb probably has cerebral palsy.
Cracking video as always. Keep up the good work. Lambing is not an easy job
Thoroughly enjoyed the video, always great content 👍
Excellent video again thanks for sharing keep up the good work
Great video Karl your flat out no bother to you 💪👌
This reminds me of A Christmas Romance (1994)
Really great job done
Good man.
Good stuff karl great content 👍
Yes
The one that couldn’t stand was probably cold and needs to be warmed up and given colostrum and it would perk up
Great.vido.as usually.busy man
🇨🇦 Good save❤️
Good stuff
Just finished watching Cammy - he used a shepherd's crook to catch his sheep. Do you ever use one?
Yay for saved lil lambies!!! I lol-ed at your LAMBULANCE and took a screenshot to show my son, who's an EMT and he laughed as well! Looking forward to the next and thank you for this one!
Yes. Lambulance.😆😆😆😆
I don’t know who is harder the sheep or the shepard
He had 2 out of 4 feet in sheep heaven😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
0:55 This reminds me of “Little Bo-Peep” & “Mary Had a Little Lamb” from Nursery Rhymes (1983)
Lambs are so cute why do they grow up to be sheep 😂
Lambs are cold
“Only 40 kilos” 😂😅
I carry two 30 lb buckets at once about 100 feet and then I am done 🙈
Any problems with the fox
Would you put a blue Leicester ram with yer ewes
The reaction to cyclists 😂
It's the side glance at the camera 😂

You are always in great spirits and that is why I like the videos that you make! 😊
Why don't you keep some of the best ewe lambs for breeding
