keeping your hormones healthy/balanced can't be understated, especially when entering perimenopause/menopause. I have a health condition that effects my hormones (and therefore my skin), and balancing my hormones has helped a lot.
Completely agreed. It's not something alot of doctors discuss with women going through perimenopause/menopause unfortunately so many women just suffer through it and taking it earlier rather than later is very important
@@SheriApproved I'm seeing a Naturopath who's knowledgeable in women's issues and she's helped a lot. Physicians don't really care about women's issues, unfortunately. When my estrogen was really low, I looked 15 years older (face & body) and that was while using the same skincare, including Tretinoin. I'm 35. This included joint pain, muscle loss, etc. Menopause is definitely no joke! It's so important to take care of your hormones.
wow thanks so much for sharing that. I am sure it will help others and I am also glad you're seeing someone who is helping. @@tiffanyrussell5040
@@SheriApproved Thank you, Sheri ❤. And thanks for always making informative videos!
@@afeshiareyes1068 I live in Nova Scotia, Canada, so I'm not sure if she would take long distance patients. A lot of women see her for hormone issues (and suggest her to their sisters, friends, etc.), so she treats many patients for that, making it somewhat her "specialty". A lot of women resort to more natural healthcare when Dr.s won't listen, that's for sure. It's not a bad idea to call naturopaths near you and ask if they're experienced dealing with hormonal/women's issues. It's their job to be well versed in MANY health concerns, including mental health, and after the 1st visit you'll realize just how knowledgeable/thorough they really are. I was impressed.
