  • I had the worse seborrheic dermatitis flare in my life and it lasted almost 4 months. During this time, I also developed another skin issue on my cheeks. The persisting and worsening condition made me question, what might be fueling this and that led to some interesting questions and interesting discoveries. I finally was able to take certain actions to stop it and now I have to monitor myself for reactions to specific supplements, stress, changes etc, during this health journey. Don't miss this eye opening video.

    The vulnerability shown in this video is exactly why I am such a fan. It makes you so relatable. Happy to know that you were able to hone in on the issue and are able to work towards getting your skin back to the state you're pleased with.

    Seborrheic dermatitis is a symptom of candida overgrowth. Heal your gut to address the symptoms.
    And mind you it will not be an easy journey. You might have to completely change your lifestyle and food habits for a lifetime if things are serious for you. But that too will be for good and it will be an enjoyable, learning experience.

    Most of us that have seb derm have a fungal overgrowth in the gut, that's one of the things you can target in your treatment plan.
    Fungal overgrowths usually have an underlying cause like mold or heavy metals so that is also worth looking into.

      The silver eliminates the Malassezia which is what makes us react in the surface of the skin, perhaps the vitamins help feed the good bacteria on the skin that will keep the Malassezia under control and the correct skin PH.

    Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. I’m so sorry you had to endure such an unpleasant experience. Thankfully you were able to walk away with more knowledge in your pocket; but unfortunate you were left with hyperpigmentation - we all know how stubborn the healing process is for melanin skin can be. Great video as always, love your voice and charming personality 🤍🫶

    I have SD in my scalp, however I dont have any dandruff. My scalp is very clean. Its hereditary. I recently had a severe flare up. I am treating with steriods, keto plus and another medication that my doctor recommends. This is my 1st week in doing the treatment. Thanks for sharing your journey.

  • @ShidsYT

    I’ve experienced Seb Derm flares but it’s localized to my hairline. Over 2 years it was migrating to my forehead and it was only when I started going to a new locitician she was able to determine that a particular edge control product from Pennywise was causing build up and overgrowth of bacteria.
    Glad you were able to resolve it and I’ll be needing to add colloidal silver to my regimen 😉😂

    • @SheriApproved
      @SheriApproved  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Whew thank goodness you were able to figure that out. That's the most important thing because you have a starting point to manage it. I still have to watch my stress cause it's that silent trigger you know.
      Girl I'm low key afraid of stopping the collodial silver 🤣 but I will and take note of what happens.

    Hi Sheri a few years ago I experienced that it was on my both eyelids and the skin looked liked pig skin and it was itchy my Dr gave me a prescription steroid and that helped a lot he said it was the chemical they had sprayed in the AC vent of my new car. So I know what you went through, I’m happy that your skin is getting better 😊

    • @SheriApproved
      @SheriApproved  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I've realized that stress, the dust, certain edge controls and recently peppermint oil contributes to flare ups for me with Seb derm.
    Thankfully for your advice, I have a great shampoo and topical cream for when those flares get out of hand
