CHOSEN YOU MAD GENUIS YOU 😃 the radiation noises were driving me NUTS and kept me from being able to enjoy the pack at all. I mean it when i say that you just single handedly saved this pack for me between that and the annoying/buggy textures thank you so much. I havent been able to find anybody talking abt those issues or how to fix them until now

Reposting this info here since I'm super early.
For Chosen and any others playing this pack: If you make a villager's job block a Create schematic table, one of their potential level 5 trades can be mechanical crafters, 3 emeralds for 2 crafters in my experience. I bring this up as its a super easy way to get the blocks necessary to make the crushing wheels, which in turn CAN CRUSH BLAZE BURNERS INTO POWDER. Blaze burners obviously already being purchasable through a lvl 3 villager with the mechanical drill as their job block.
Another useful job block is the alchemist table (not the one from Blue Skies, the other one), as one of their potential lvl 3 trades can be ghast tears or blaze powder.
3em for 2 crafters is an insane deal given how annoying it is to get far enough into create to set them up JUST to get access to the large crushung wheels, appreciate the tip friend 🙂 if you know any other villager tips id love to hear them bc the way they work in this pack is confusing as hell lol
Any tip on how I can run the pack? My laptop can't seem to run a stable 30fps while it can handle atm9 no frills!

@@hikari1690 for me i disable the faithless resource pack and its working bcz at first i having 165fps but eventually its dropped like crazy especially in the nether since the resource pack have so many animated texture , now it's much better
Since someone want useful comment, so let's talk about Tetra
Yes, there are also quests about Tetra
1. just like Tinker, Tetra tools won't break when used up durability.
2. Tetra tools can level up after being used for enough time, and will unlock some inprovement.
3. in the pack you can turn shovel into walking cane, which can give player Speed effect.
4. you can utilize your old hammer into a 3x3 mining hammer, since you need second hammer to upgrade the first one
5. Toolbelt can be useful for quick weapon access, auto arrow refill, and Life saving jet boost.
6. Holosphere can be use for finding ancient debris, it will make some noise when find one.
7. Geode are found at deepslate floor, and can craft into melded geode.
8. WarForge scroll can unlock WarForge, which can upgrade normal tools into powerfull weapon.
9. most materials can be settled, which give addictional integrity (upgrade slot).
Oh so tetra is kinda just another tinker alternative like silent gear? Thats kinda disappointing but ig ill give it a chance. Gotta say some of the creative choices the pack creator made are odd
Heck yeah! I've always loved how tetra did stuff, and was so happy to see it utilized to incredible effect in this pack
Don't forget the biggest boost with tetra. You can enchant them!

Big fan of the content changes you've made with this pack. The mini cutscenes are fantastic! Whether it's simple travel or falling down a big hole, they add a lot and help break up the episode. As they say "variety is the spice of life" and you, sir, are one hot tamale

Reposting since he didn't see it: You can put the create backtank and helmet on your baubles(curios, where you put the backpack and rings) and this works with the boots and engineer's goggles.
I had to batch record theses for a little vacation with my wife and kiddo but I will check this fir future eps :D

Finally normal texture, I was having a hard time understanding which block is which😅
Choosen those lizard is called komono dragon you can tame it with rotton flresh and it ride it, it is quite fast maybe faster than a horse!
If this works, you should look for a snow biome and get enough snow for a golem for infinite snow then carry a stack of blocks to place down in really hot areas to cool down

The encased fans will always push when the rotation at the back (while standing behind the fan) is turning clockwise and pull when turning counterclockwise. This might be common knowledge, but blew my mind when I realised.
I had guessed something along those lines was the case, but I never bothered to actually test and memorize which way was which - thanks for the info :D
Fans follow the Right Hand Rule, where if you curl the fingers of your right hand in the direction that the input shaft is turning, your thumb will point in the direction the air stream moves.
Hey chosen the the water suronded by dirt is twlight dimension and the sand stone is Egypt dimension

Not the fuckin atum... anything but that, im so tired of packs that just stack dimension mods... i hate having to go to 30 fuckin different dimensions to finish a pack, lags the fuck out of my game having THAT much terrain generated

I have to agree it was actually irritating to watch the playthrough with the replacement textures , vanilla is so so much better , especially the UI
The loot in the church graveyard is amazing. There are spawners in all the graves that need to be dug up. 8/10 highly recommended clearing it out.

Did your changing of the resource pack work correctly? Any chunks I haven't visited are remaining invisible when I go to them for some reason
@@Slaterr55 this is more for force loading chunks around your farms. Unfortunately the chunk loading issues are a. It tougher. I usually disable and then re-enable shader packs then reduce render distance to 1 then return it to normal. 90% of the time one of those 2 things works. On a related mote though if anybody knows how to increase the limit of force loaded chunks I’d be grateful.
Alright cool I'll try that thanks. Also, I noticed cobblestone and dirt in the sophisticated barrels are invisibile if its just them as one item in a barrel? Most other items are showing fine but for some reason those aren't appearing now after changing the res pack around as Chosen did. Any clue?@@RxDoc2010
@@Slaterr55 that is not a standard barrel it is like a drawer. If you notice it has a dividing line on it. There are a couple varieties of them and in JEI they are after all the various wood varieties.
@@RxDoc2010 Yup I know and have the exact same barrel types but for some reason it was hiding the icons instead of displaying them even though I had it set up correctly. I just had to re do it and it seems to be fine now

1 thing about rushers is that they quickly run around to not get shot by guns, that is why you kept missing most of your shots 😂

I am pretty sure now after multiple experiments choosen's voice makes me fall asleep, don't know whether it is good or bad lol.
not me crying when you found the sacks but didnt utilize them as a mini shulker box. that was my early game loot method. filled backpack of sacks that hold 9 slots increasing my overall carrying capacity by a significant amount, that was at least until i got imeersives storage boxes mostly from villages.
side note. the respirator is bugged and even when your durability goes down it wont break so effectively its infinite.
Those ghosts aren't hostile unless you attack them. They do drop an item that will locate a nether fortress. I usually grab those sacks as you can use them for portable storage. The Immersive crates also act like shulker boxes. I didn't know about the chunk loading. Nice tip.

The things in the Nexus were a bunch of old references to other dimension mods. Problem though is none of the dimension mods have ever been on the same version
Of the two you saw, the sandstone pool is for Atum, which is still at 1.16.2 and has always been on Forge. The copper blocks is for Eden Ring, which has always been on Fabric and never had a Forge version (haven't tested it with Connector, mind).
There may be a few more down there though...

I started playing this for myself and found out there is an item that you can’t use unless you have had the hardcore mode ring equipped for a significant amount of your total world playtime, just letting you know incase you were planning on fully completing the questbook
Edit: the only reason I say that even though I’m sure you can just get the item without using it is because I’m not sure if you can get it without that requirement first, the description of it was a little confusing to me
Ok ill explain how that all works to you rq bc theres a very good reason he isnt using it. Firstly the ring just makes the game 10x harder for very little reward, and actually comes with the potential for perma death bc you lose a max hp everytime you die (you can recover them but dying over and over while trying to recover your gear and heart is more common than you might think) the second issue is that the ring permenantly locks you out of every single item that uses the heart of the earth in its recipe bc the ring corrupts the hearts, this is bad bc the best items in the mod use those uncorrupted hearts, third issue is that with the ring you cannot farm bees without FAR more work than is fair and you cant use villagers in this pack bc they need the freedom to spawn golems which will ofc automatically attack you on sight. Overall the ring just isnt almost ever worth equipping unless you specifically want an insanely difficult playthrough which chosen doesnt. I hope my explaination helped you understand how it works and the reason hed be avoiding the ring
To add more to this, as someone who has done several playthroughs (and is currently doing a Steampunk playthrough) with it:
1. You are correct, you cannot craft (or use, in the case of multiplayer/cheats) any items that are locked to hardcore, unless you've spent (iirc, I don't have the game open right now) 99.8% of your world with the Ring equipped. In most cases, that means IMMEDIATELY equipping it, or else you'll have to AFK for several hours depending on how long you went without it. The longer you wait, the more AFK-ing you'll have to do.
2. I agree that some of the more powerful things in the mod are behind the uncorrupted HotE, but the Ring allows you to craft several (imo _more_ overpowered) items using the corrupted version.
3. The Ring does have the chance of causing perma-death, but only if you don't collect your hearts. I don't think this pack has a way to increase your hearts, but that would give you more chances. I usually find that once I have 2 or 3 extra hearts I'm able to reliably get my stuff back without too much issue. Resistance potions and backup sets of armor are your best friends before (and tbh after if you want to play it safe) that point.
4. There are several items that circumvent the neutral mob curse (I think it's the 4th?) for specific mobs, though none of them work on bees as far as I'm aware. However, it's fairly simple to work around it by using (even vanilla) beehive automation and quantum catchers / whatever mob moving tool you feel like using. If bees don't have line-of-sight on you for more than ~5 seconds, they'll de-aggro, so you can quantum catcher them, move them to a pre-set-up bee farm with no transparent blocks for them to see you through, and just wait. It's honestly just switching out glass for cobblestone, not nearly as much work as surr3ald3sign is saying. Obviously, just be careful not to let them sting you while capturing them.
5. Golems aren't a huge deal - even in this pack, as you can still trap the _golems_ without issue. Since there are golems in the area, your villagers don't feel the need to spawn more. Just make sure the villagers can _see_ the golems, as that's what the game checks for. They also don't spawn golems NEARLY as often if they don't see any zombified mobs, which the mod incentivizes you to prevent in the first place.
I personally love the Ring, it gives a fairly unique challenge to a game that I have played for an ungodly amount of time, while also having pretty decent benefits and some pretty sick gear you can make with it. A book that does the same damage as a diamond sword, ignores the halved-damage-to-mobs (7th?) curse, applies random negative potion effects to those hit, and can be enchanted like a sword?? Yes please! Obviously, if it's not for you that's fine, but I personally feel like it's not nearly as extreme as surr3ald3sign made it out to be, and therefore felt the need to put my two cents in lol
+1 to Kd the ring isn't game ending, it's just more difficult with more reward
Chosen you can water log drills and put the lava above to make it more compact
you catched my sub with this episode. that you show us the fix for the texture pack + the sound problem was the game changer for me. after that i knew this is not your normal lets play
Hey chosen! Just wanted to say premptively before you get a full storage system set up that the sophisticated storage barrels hold more than the sophisticated storage chests for whatever reason. Love this play through!
They dont tho? They both have the exact same number of slots at each upgrade level...

Nope... waterlogged leaves are no longer a feature of minecraft, removed in either 1.18 or 1.19 bc it no longer works

you can store a Lot of ammo from the gun mod inside the toolbox, currently running around with 216 shotgun shells in my tool kit. dont have to make the ammo pouches and can carry a few stacks of ammo to save space.

I feel like adding the replay mod they have in hermitcraft could help you a lot with making vids. I like all the extra effort you do with the little 3rd person clips

Brass not so hard in this modpack. Immersive engineering alloy kiln simplest way to do it.

Just a heads up those "giant blocks" on the filter slots/storage drawers is actually due to a Forge bug, you need to update the forge version of the pack.

Bc its a create modpack 😐 create does NOT play nice with most shaders and given that even without them create will lag your game HARD later on, you just cant afford to run shaders on top of it
Yea... Shaders and create just don't work well with each other... Well more like Oculus which is the shader mod and flywheel which is the performance enhancing mod for create don't really work well together

Yeah... overall im getting the not so great feeling that this packs creator has never made a modpack before now bc theres LOTS of terrible design choices they made, like using tetra instead of something like silent gear which is 1000x easier to deal with, or making villagers damn near useless with villager comfort 😐 and several mods that feel like they were thrown in with zero balancing or prethought as to how they fit the pack
@@surr3ald3sign I mean, I've played this packs creator's other packs before like Better Minecraft, I know for a fact he makes good stuff, I just think the resource pack he chose was dumb. I felt the same way about the resource pack in Fear Nightfall as well
@@drrichardew7878nah. This creator is well known for throwing mods together with very little testing, cohesion, proper quest management, or thought in general. Better Minecraft is liked by new modded players but quite frankly it is a mess of a pack when compared to other ones.
Yesterday I try the mod pack. 5 generation of world every time spawn on a different biome but so close to pillager tower or stables. 😭😅
Same, every single time 😐 between that and the radiation noise issue he showed up hkw to fix i pretty much just threw the modpack away in favor of playing thru ATM9 bc its a VASTLY higher quality pack. This pack just feels like a mess made by an inexperienced creator

THANK YOU for the info on how to fix the stupid oversized blocks on storage drawers and filters! I was pulling my hair out trying to find a setting or config file that would turn that off because it makes storage drawers completely unusable.
I am not in the slightest a fan of texture packs that are meant for vanilla (like faithless) being put on modpacks, because then all the vanilla stuff is changed but the modded stuff looks normal and they clash
Yeah, i gave up on this pack... so many terrible choices the creator made it just feels like they have no idea what they are doing and its not fun
