It's a lot of steps and there might be an easier way, but that's how it would have been done originally.

Really excited to see her tackle B/W - Honestly, Unova's easily my favorite gen. Completely brand new Pokedex, two rivals, and an actually compelling antagonist.
I feel like Avalanche was the right move there. Even at 4x super effective, it would’ve taken two Ice Shards to kill it, versus the guaranteed OHKO from Avalanche. Regardless what move you’re using, Mamoswine is taking a hit there.

Nope, there are 3 options. A ditto transformed into a clefairy (low odds of repeating the gambling win), a regular clefairy (moderate odds) and a shiny clefairy (high odds). No clue how likely each option is, but it's not a 1/8192 chance

Can i be honest? I love how much suspense to the battle is added because of the slow health bars. That makes those few seconds last for ever but with your heart bumping not knowing if the hit is enough to ko.

Seeing her play it all for the first time and discovering them make me want to relieve the magic, pokemons are with me since 1997 and they are no mystery to me. This warms my heart so much and makes me so happy to see people still experiencing the game. 31yo woman and im still gushing at all the grass pokemon like back when i was a kid, they are so damn cuuuute that at every game. im a monotype grass user, gotta have a gimmick when you play since forever haha

Nope, there are 3 options. A ditto transformed into a clefairy (low odds of repeating the gambling win), a regular clefairy (moderate odds) and a shiny clefairy (high odds). No clue how likely each option is, but it's not a 1/8192 chance
OK but the background changing when Giratina appeared was just another example of this channel having superior editing!

I think that would be great because doing the first ones would limit her to just the gen 5 pokemon and she would really get to put her team building skills to the test. Then she can put it to the test against all 5 gens with the sequels.

To be fair, the Palkea/Dialga and certain other Legends you capture are just Avatars of their full power - you could see the fight to capture them in most games as gaining their trust/proving yourself, something that we often see in the Anime

Watching these videos and watching how excited she was playing made me want to play the old games again. I really don't like gen 4 or gen 5 at all. I was super critical when they originally came out and I think the mindset just stayed. Gen 3 is by far my favorite generation.

Platinum is my favourite Pokemon game ever and it was so fucking cool to see Tarny get as invested as she did and to overcome what is considered the hardest Champion fight of all time. I think what makes her such a great person for this series is that she's so emotionally expressive with everything she experiences! I felt the lows and I definitely felt the highs watching this.. :D
