This one was a bit complicated so I opted for some post commentary for once. Hope you like it! (I'm still doing my regular style of videos normally so don't worry)
Smallant1 it was fun watching the stream every week! Well not just this stream but all of your streams!
I love this style of video!!! Please make more like this! The commentary adds an extra level of personality and detail to what is otherwise just a stream highlight.
I love the balance on you channel of clips goofing off on steam and the more in-depth speed runs! You’re rad :3
This is cool i hope you make more vids like this
Yes, I actually prefer this post commentary, though clips and highlights from the streams would make some good content for a different video as well, because with this format, we do miss those chat gems.
"We came up with a fool proof plan to defeat the Zubats" is probably a sentence that has never been spoken in Pokemon.
Idk, I could see Team Rocket saying it.
I had my Pokemon Platinum Nuzlocke ended by a combination of Jupiter's Zubat and Skuntank. I was going to use Geodude to kill Zubat and Skuntank with rock and ground moves but Zubat one shotted it with Giga Drain, then my other Pokemon fell to her team. I'm sure I had other Pokemon in the PC but I was going on the rule that if you black out once you lose.

I mean, he isn't wrong. I spent just about an entire 8 hours grinding a volcarona up to level 100 (starting at level 60 something) off of the first time you go to beat the elite 4 in Gen 5. I can only imagine how long it'd take to grind off of level 20's, for the three Pokemon he got to level 100
Since he is playing with an emulator he should have just set up some key-makro going up and down / left and right on an area without fight potentials and leave it running
There needs to be some way that you can AFK that. Perhaps cheats, code it to automatically bike up and down up a long strip of land. Just set it down, then go do something else while your Pokémon is grinded up to Lv100.

Aerial Ace on that roserade was actually a 30% run ending move due to its ability poisoning on contact with that probability...
it wouldn't matter, it was the last one
Actually, it would matter. Since he has to save at every gym, and since poison does damage while walking, he would be unable to exit the gym without taking damage, meaning he would be softlocked and must restart the entire challenge. He would need an antidote or a Pecha berry to avoid this, which would be unlikely for him to own, considering the rules of the challenge.

These scripted videos are so much better than the ones where you just talk with chat. I really appreciate the ones you've done like this one. Keep up the good work
I love how he casually said "I hopped into another dimension really quick and caught giratina"
how did i read this exactly as he said it lol
So basically you traded your life so that your Pokémon may never feel pain? Now that’s a great dad in the making right there, everyone.
Lol
He gave away his pokemon to be raised and cared for by others then came back when they were all grown up and useful to him.

That TH-camr covers Stuff that even Experts like Distant Kingdom never covered and shows that the Skill-Level has LITERALLY and not figuratively

Nice baseless assumptouns, but its natural for people to recommend people to people.
If i know continue and say Arlo, Radical Soda, Distant Kingdom, and others, are also recommendable - does that make them also Alt accounts of me?
?
@@loturzelrestaurant I never claimed you were their alt (which to me is indicated you thought that at the end of your message), and it was a joke.
Anyway, what made me make that joke in the first place is how your previous message holds no similarity in any way to the original commentator’s message.

Best part about this is finding a way to make use of Natural Gift, of all moves. Well done!
There is actually one single scenario I can think of where Natural gift would be useful over any other move of Ghost type for Giratina, albeit not in Platinum but later generations. As you know, Ghost is one of Giratina's weaknesses. If you are running a Physical Giratina, it's strongest physical Ghost type move it can learn is usually "Shadow Force" with 120BP. However, this move can open you up to hits during the two turn attack, as any Pokemon with the ability "No guard" that is also Ghost type (such as Honedge or Golett) can 100% hit you with a Ghost type move during the transition stage of Shadow Force. Using Natural gift (and holding a Custap berry) Giratina will use an 80BP, physical, one-turn Ghost type move, stronger than any other one-turn physical Ghost move it can learn. In this scenario, Natural gift is the strongest possible Physical Ghost type move with 100 Accuracy.
RuneCraftPC I salute the thought behind this. I’m thinking we need a Natural Gift video

Shiny hunters: *confused screaming*
Can you beat it without taking damage?
In game: yes
Mentally: no
Good thing the sturdy ability didn't exist untill gen 5 or this challenge would have been impossible..
@Blue Fire Is Cold Unless he uses a monotype team, weather would damage his own Pokemon as well and there is also risk of taking damage while setting up hazards and the multi-hit moves would have be really, really strong and hit more than twice to OHKO many bulky mons.
@Blue Fire Is Cold Rock, steel and ground types are the only 3 that don't take damage from sand. So unless you don't have a team full of those types, you definitely take damage. Same in case of hail and non-ice types. Also, setting up hazards while expecting a non-damage move is again taking a gamble.
Laughs in double kick
Skill link cloyster would like to introduce itself.
Do you are have stupid
Looks like Quick Attack was the most problematic move for this playthrough until you got Giratina, but I'm pretty sure in Platinum you can catch Gastly and Rotom very early in the Old Chateau inside Eterna Forest.
True, but there's always the risk of getting hit during that battle. Even if you use a normal type, I think Gastly will know Curse by that level
No, the biggest problem is that the elite four members still use freaking quick attack
why would that be a problem if you have gengar?@@CoffeeHype7356
