Not very often you see a big ol 4 seater XP 1000 enter a hill climb competition. Gilbert Hollingsworth brought out his brand new XP 1000 Turbo 4 seater to Dirt Nasty Offroad for the Southern Rock Racing SxS challenge. Gilbert made several of the hill before he finally blew the front Differential up and had to quit.
Before I watched the video, I was thinking "why would anyone bounce a 4 seater, they are so much heavier and they are way too long for how low they are." But after I watched it, I guess the length and weight helps a ton on these relatively smooth steep hills. However im sure it would be pitiful on hill with ledges and crossed up ruts. Anyway, great vid madram!

Wow.... I was really impressed by it!!!! The 4 seater seems too long w/ a weak rampover angle but I was really suprised at how well this did!!!!! I gotta say tho, it'd be sweet if Polaris came out with a mid-wheelbase RZR, with slightly larger wheels to keep a good rampover angle, while being more planted on the uphills. And once again, great vid MadRam!

Wow! Looks like the long wheelbase machine with a wicked high strung turbo is pretty much king!

i knew these diffs were gonna have problems with the extra power from the new turbo xp. I have enough trouble with my diffs in my 14 XP 1000

I've witnessed these 4 seaters go up stuff that the shorter ones could not, especially if it was wet.

+MadRam11 you cannot strip the Sprague carrier out, there's nothing to strip. he more then like busted it into a bunch of pieces or he has a stripped gear

It's a turbo or it's a 1000 but there is no such thing as a 1000 turbo from Ploaris.
