Great idea with the extension! But just a heads up for future references, always try and pump grease in the the primary hole before inserting the clutch pulling tool and it’s always a good idea to instal the inner cover from bolts starting towards the front of the machine and working your way to the rear torquing the hex bolts to 37 ft# then the rest to 50 ft#, also never unbolt the rear trans isolator, the shafts for the motor and trans should be 10 and 1/2” center to center
Reminded me of an old doodle bug transmission with a little bit more complication. Good to see you Mickey Mouse. I knew you’d make it into a couple videos and thanks for bringing that lovely wallpaper back I really missed it. LOL hey Johnny
Awesome video. I have the shaft and gear to install in my General 4 seater. I thought the extension in the vice is the best idea!. Really enjoy your channel. You do a great job with your video’s. Keep up the good work. Thanks
@@GrimRZR I'm thinking the same but have a 2021 xp 4 1000. I know I can do the work but just want to gear down the low end as far as I can go and keep the high at only about 12% reduction. Confused on what to get. 🤔 I see alot of comments for turbos, not alot for 1000 xps. I've also heard the 1000xp is already geared down a little. Any help. Is appreciated. Oh and keep up the good content 🤘😎🤘
@@XDecrypted Im not sure the difference in a 1000. If you can try and contact the guy from Crash City SxS. They do a lot of them. Super helpful and great videos too
Excellent video. Nothing more satisfying then working on your machine with friends and family.
Thank you. My dad is super smart. Learn something every time we work together

Great info. I didn't want it to be a 2 hr video though. Really just a few tips for the diy type. Hopefully they still look up torque specs.

I did the wallpaper just for you.

Thank you for the video. Very helpful.
Glad it helped you out. Appreciate the feedback

Sorry. Looks like the number should be 3236132
Thank you. Very good video. Appreciate your time
You're welcome
Great video! Thanks for answering everything.
You are welcome. If you think of anything just let me know
Hey am I going to have to have a press to remove and install the bearings?
no but it makes it so much easier. If you are carefull you could tap them off and on
Nice job that will save a lot of belts.
Man it drives so much better for my type of riding
Where does the 4th gear go? I saw you replace 2 gears and that shaft with the mid gear on it, so 3 total
I'm trying to remember. I'm going to have to look and get back to you
All the gear part numbers would be same for my 21 xp4t right?
I'm pretty sure but I haven't done one of them.
@@GrimRZR alright. Thanks!
Good stuff man 👍
Thank you. If you run into any questions feel free to ask
Did you ever have any issues with the alignment?
I haven't yet
Will these gears work in a 21 xp4 1000??
I'm not sure. Haven't done a 1000 but I know some things are different
How did you decide how much of a reduction to go with?
I watched a couple videos and talked to some people that had done it.
