Love these videos. Topics like the No-Lift Shift, Oil Changes, and disengaging traction control are great! Especially for our Camaro 1LE's! Keep it up!
@@The_Drive_Inside enjoying all these camaro videos!! thanks for posting.....what do you guys think on plans to scrap the camaro going fwd? sounds depressing!!
@@Jay-fy7bn right!! I've disengaged my traction control (all the way) and I've been sliding around like Disney on ice😂 But seriously when it's disengaged, you can feel that full power. It's exhilarating 😅
@@The_Drive_Inside the car has stage 3 comp cam, LS7 lifters, long tube headers with full exhaust to stock muffler, 2 step launch control and a few other upgrades. Do you know of a good tune shop? Asking because I don’t know who tuned this and afraid to get on it yet until a tune is dialed in.
The car is trying to match the engine speed to the chassis speed so however fast the car is going when you clutch in and 0% throttle it will just hang at the predicted optimum rpm
Do you know what the max rpm that rev match will rev to? The other day I was going 70 and tried to downshift to 4th but went to 2nd (didn't engage it) and it revved the motor really high but I instantly went back over to 4th.
With rev match on, if i pass a tunnel and i wanna rev high can i clutch and bring gear closer to first it will rev high without putting it in to the gear, and then put back to regular or proper number of gear? is that okay. Or just go neutral and floor gas or clutch in and floor gas
Auto revmatch great way to ruin your transmission since its bringing engine RPMs up only, not transmission gear RPMs like a normal double clutch would.
The timing is a bit off... I’m aware lol!! I can’t be the only one who thinks this feature is awesome***LONG LIVE THE MANUAL***

I agree... this is what saves the manuals. Makes it more fun and easier!
Just purchased my first LS, 2020 camaro 1SS 1LE with tons of engine upgrades. Going to need help and I am in Iowa also
Nice… ask away

Your exhaust sounds amazing, were you able to accomplish that without any check engine lights?if so what did you have done exactly
I sold this car a while back it was TSP 2” long tubes…that’s it
I heard if you reach 5k rpm you can keep gas in while clutching to next gear, more for racers

Awesome Content, Thanks for going in-depth with explanation. I have never driven manual before but my dream is to get a 6th Gen 1LE
Jack Vale thank you!... I hope you get it too! They are ridiculous amount of car for the money
Subscribed, freaking awesome. Drone footage and everything.
TurgBurglar thank you I really appreciate that!!
Do you need to hold the clutch at the bite point or apply constant gas while you release the clutch after the downshift?
Smooth and consistent clutch/gas. You want it to be a seamless transition of power… good question

Should be redline 🤔…lol
You don’t like the PDR either? I did not spec it on my 18 maro. Bit of a potato cam.
I noticed a difference on up shifting to when in on ? It must do something
This video is old…yes it does help a bit on the upshifts too! I love this feature
@The_Drive_Inside your not the only one it's awesome ! Thank for the reply!
0:08 evil laugh you got there, Reminds me of chucky 😂
Damn…it’s like you know me already 😂
Active rev match saves the driveline from damage
Agreed
Also, side question, is this car for sale in Des Moines?
Yep.. did you see it? It might be gone it might not idk
@@The_Drive_Inside I was about to purchase that one but purchased a white one from Illinois.
@@The_Drive_Inside it did sell yesterday though
Isn't a con not being able to double clutch to slow down?
I don’t see it as a con… it’s awesome because now it’s one smooth fluent motion…
You can always turn it off so I don’t see that as a con.

This is like 3 questions…which one? 🤔
Does that work for first gear ?
Yes!! I forgot to put that in my video BUT it doesn’t work until 16mph. Good question!
Do you have stock exhaust or after market? If after market, which one you got?
You mock my videos and want me to answer your questions 🤨
@@The_Drive_Inside I did not mock your videos. I provided critical feedback so that you could improve.
