What mods are you using? I tried the unofficial one but I can't get the ai to be harder. And they won't have many defenses on top of walls either unlike what I see in your videos. Thanks for the answer.
Wow, this was... a really bad game. Saladin was the only one with enough space to run his full economy, so of course he dominated everyone (and also by being Saladin, but that's besides the point). Sultan lived just off woodcutters, and Pig had enough space for cow farms, so they were doing okay, but still below their usual capabilities. Marshal eventually slowed down to a crawl and became unable to do anything besides recruiting his knights, Snake stopped completely after a while, and the other three just had too little space for anything really. Wazir couldn't bake enough bread due to having too little greenery for wheat farms, so it was just the matter of time before he would get overwhelmed - moreso by his negative fear factor than anything else. Caliph survived for a pretty long time despite everything solely because for once, he didn't have to spend 90% of his money on pitch. Wolf managed to hang on, because Pig's macemen were basically dead from crossbow bolts after crawling through pitch fields during every single attack. And honestly, the fact that he actually started to recover once Marshal's knights were no longer a problem was pretty amazing. It's a shame Sultan failed to stop Saladin's attack, maybe we would have seen... not a full comeback, probably, but at least a prolonged defense from the Duc of Volpe.
