it's like special or cheat for wolf, he can build castle and wall without stone. if u not believe this, just try make start source poor for wolf and let him make big castle, if u destroy wall he can rebuild wall, even if wolf no gold or stone.
He's a Prison architect, look at his first castle, the place where the houses are is surrounded by thick walls with no exits other than the gate towards the keep, lol
I remembered as a kid playing this game and copying all Wolf castle 1 by 1 just by the photo of it XD.... and damn I can copied all of them but takes time!! but also I remembered I need rat, snake, sultan,etc (non engineer user) as an enemies so I can built the castle for better. WHAT A TIME LADS!

The castle layout is the same in every game, but there is no way to know which one you get in advance. But at least having 7 of them increases the odds you get the one you want. And when you do you delete the other 6 or 7 placements. I wish the game could be better optimized for creators but it's old.

Inn place by stockpile, when you can place it on the other side of the map to be fair, since distance doesn't matter, while all workshops outside of castle, kilometers away from stockpile. especially hurts fletcher, since it needs to take 2/3 planks from stockpile to make 1 bow / cross
@Devayne It looks nice, as many of those design, but it doesnt mean itsefficient. Most efficient are those big type castles, like people do in multiplayer, just everything "inside" including farms and querry.
I also adopted that one & become my favorite castle, with all of those bad things ofc. Buildings outer from castle? doesnt matter cuz we are in 150% efficiency; and xbows shields & balistas are always protecting them. Just live with 58 people, gold will stonk.

It's because 99% of the map spots don't have enough space for the wolf to build them. Make a custom map with a lot of space and he'll build all of them eventually. Even the big rare ones.
How playing against wolf8 goes for me Plays a map where he is using that castle: "Hahahahaha, now it's in my favour!" Uses every possible legit strategy only to end up reloading for the 12th time: "Man, fuck you Wolf" Finally, resorts to 400 horse archers, 20 catapults, and 50 monks or whatever equivalent cheese strategy there is just to win lol

You see building big castle requires a lot of stone, number 8 is a fast and easy castle to make in games with 2000 starting gold, and it's also relatively good
@@popefrancis3571 yes because somehow his stacked swordsmen and pikemen took the hit instead of the crossbowmen so without bigger penetration on our side, wolf can melt our troops rather effectively
When he build no8 castle he has his best attacks and good defense and great Economie it’s my favorite and no6 is the same but better defense and a little worse attacks and economie And he build the rest of them in the wrong time and wrong place unfortunately and he bother his Allies some times

I think that it more depends under what environment he is, if you give him lots of space and resources nearby then he will defo build something good

Gytzero Just go to your stronghold folder and delete all the remaining castles ^^ But don't forget to make a copy of them.
