- This channel has always tried to put forward star rail lore theories that at least makes some sense. Maybe they arent entirely logical but theres some parts thatll make you go huh that is possible. But every so often id get a brain fart that eventually becomes a theory that is so bad that I question if it ever should see the light of day. This video is one of that, its a star rail theory that is kinda dumb but I still think I should share it with you, dont say I didnt warn you though
Also its mostly about xipe, the harmony, the family and penacony alongside some IPC sprinkled on there as well. Wanna see how dumb this star rail theory is? Better get watching then
Some part of this video comes from the actual lore while others may be speculation on my part as we currently do not know the full story. As such take it with a grain of salt as the point of this video is just a deeper dive into Honkai Star Rail lore.

Assuming that Aeons take the meaning of their Path to the most extreme definition, Order could lead to the eradication of free will, for free will is the source of all chaos. Another bad way Order can be seen is through Dictatorship like say North Korea. As oppressive as that place is, Order prevails there.
So maybe Xipe and the Path of Harmony beat Ena and the Path of Order just because Harmony is more popular due to sounding a lot nicer on paper.
(Though I still think that the endgoal for the Path of Harmony is to fuse every living being in the world into Xipe as part of a universal-sized hivemind. Hence THEIR jigsaw puzzle-like design. THEY are slowly collecting new pieces for THEMSELVES)

I think xipe absorbing Ena is not make Ena dissapear but coexsist with them as Xipe and Ena harmoniusly exist togather
And if I remember correctly, Xipe themselves is merged together by different spirits who want harmony and become one.
Theres also that part in SU where both Ena and Xipe were talking, their dialogues are indicated by blue and red colors

Its possible, which brings up the question of who is the "main" personality within Xipe or do all the absorbed aeons have an equal level of control 🤔

I just noticed the Eye behind Ena is the same as Adventurine, and im guessing by extension, Gaiathra Triclops
Yeah, so with this additional eye Ena has three and may be Gaiathra Triclops. Also, when you look at the jewelry at Xipe’s head, it is distantly similar to Ena’s third eye. It may have been left after their fusion, but placing it at her forehead makes it seem like a real third eye. Maybe Xipe is the one who Sigonians worshipped as Gaiathra? Who knows, I’m just rambling

Ena's design exists in Xipe if you look closely. The golden headbands with Ena's eye, the eye behind Xipe, Gold, White hair resembles the veil. If the eye cintrolled the puppet, maybe the eyes control Xipe
I have another theory about Xipe that is also a bit crazy (but that right now I don't think would be disproved by anything we know)
we see xipe has 3 faces, 1 is likely xipe herself, the other is ena but who is the third one?
my theory is that that is Idrila the aeon of beauty that also got absorbed by the harmony, if you think about it kinda make sense for something like beauty to also collide with harmony

I never questioned the existence of Ena's motiff in Penacony, cuz we already had examples of Aeonless factions that still carries its culture/ ideology like the Nameless and the Knights of beauty.
So I thought they were designs originally made by the group that was previously part of the Order faction.
The thing is that they always says "Engulf", "Assimilated", "Absorved" and etc so I assumed they never really disappeared and their characteristics still remains in the main Aeon.
This theory has some interesting points tho!

However, if a single bug loses it's ability to propagate further, and all other bugs are dead, The Propagation will be born the same way the first one was, from loneliness.
Order needs Harmony to exist, and Harmony can only be born from Order. However, when Harmony isn't enough to keep Chaos away, Order needs to brought on stronger than ever to keep things harmonious. So, it's logical how Order became part of Harmony. After all, if something is born from you, you should help it grow, right?
Harmony and Order are two sides of the same coin. Both strive for the same things, just that Order is more forceful and restrictive. Both mean similar things, but with different ways of telling you that.
It's just like Voracity and Destruction. Both are sides of the same coin. Both are about annihilating things, just in different ways. The Voracity wishes to consume all existing matter, and then itself, while The Destruction wishes to destroy all existing things, and then itself. That's why I think these two will, or already have, come across each other and one will assimilate the other. I mean, Ouroboros has disappeared from the radar, and we know that Nanook still exists, so there is no actual proof denying this, although there is no solid proof agreeing with this either. But still, even if it didn't happen yet, it will likely happen some day.
Something to consider is that Ena *is* the eye (or at least, the being who owns the eye, hidden behind the angelic doll). Note that the prominent figure in Ena's illustration has strings like those of a marionette, which indicates that it isn't the Aeon, but rather an intermediary for them. This puts a spin on The Order that many may not have considered: Ena is very much about control, and may be exerting far more influence on Xipe than had been let on. For instance, that swirl of color behind Xipe's head looks a bit like a distorted eye to me.
I also have to wonder if the timing of Ena's disappearance and Nanook's emergence is less than coincidental. After all, Nanook seeks the destruction of everything for the sake of eliminating the chaos of existence as much as anything else, and an Aeon with as much influence in the universe as Ena may well have been too big to have been entirely absorbed by Xipe. Maybe the aspects of Order that were incompatible with Harmony were ejected, only to coalesce around the will of a man who sought the destruction of those who destroyed his world. All of this is to say that IMO Ena still lives on in the Star Rail universe, and if they ever "come back" as Ena, they might "come back wrong", or at least in a different form from what they were.
The eye behind xipe and also golden headbands with Ena's eye on themmm. That's what im saying. Hoyo must make a good script first, then the design. Also hinting so much, I think its possible that order controls Harmony

i think the existence of bug swarm also lends some credence to this theory cause even though the aeon of propagation is long dead remains of it still lives on through the bugs
Also Fu Xuan was presented a piece of Tayzzyronth and she was unable to divine its future, so she concluded Tayzzyronth is never truly dead

Xipe never glanced and was never associated to Penacony at all. Penacony was firstly a Preservation domain and eventually turned into a Trailblaze haven. Ask yourself where the Harmony plays a role? The Sweet Dream was a masquerade of the Order, passed off as the Harmony. The Order would have been rejected if they were transparent. Robin is the first true representation of the Harmony, so we dont really know many followers of the Harmony yet.
Its par for the course with Penacony though, we’ve been conned on so many levels.
Edit: Xipe glanced at us and we obtained the Path of Harmony as a result. We are the 2nd TRUE Harmony character in the story, Robin being the first. That means that other planet mentioned about being under the Family/Harmony?
Its bullshit. That planet is under the spell of Ena’s Order as well, probably under a dream if its in the Asdana star system. Hopefully we brawl with this problematic organization as we continue with the story. The Family is clearly of the Order and lying to the entire cosmos in its attempt to usurp the Harmony.

It may not be as crazy as you think - in the previews we’ve been given for the boss fight in 2.2, we see what looks like an Aeon reaching down and touching the boss. If you really look at it, the light blue purply space of Xipe’s skin is shown, but THEY seem to be wearing white gloves, which we’ve never seen in THEIR art. Although they are not gloves, Ena’s hands are white. After pondering that on my own for a while, I theorized that it COULD be Ena either trying to break free or take over. Not to mention the blatant puppetry image of that boss.

Because Order itself has inclinations towards extreme bad, all in pursuit of Order. Equilibrium isn't necessarily Order but a coexistence of both good and evil, strong and weak, chaos and harmony, past and future, etc. Sunday has always proclaimed that the strong must protect the weak, but never what the weak can do for the strong, therefore, creating an imbalance.
@StranglerSix the aeons don't have a moral code. Their followers may be good/evil but that doesn't reflect the aeon's motives. Ena's only goal was to preserve balance and prevent calamities, which is basically the same thing HooH does.

They're not "basically the same." When sadness is excessive, Equilibrium creates happiness. Likewise, when happiness is excessive, Equilibrium creates sadness.
Note that the moment Ena disappeared, "the Equilibrium's duties have only grown greater." HooH didn't assimilate Ena but took on THEIR duties because the lack of Order signifies an imbalance in the cosmos.
I understand why Order and Equilibrium can look interchangeable, but they can't be anymore fundamentally different. Order will punish disobedience for the sake of Order. Equilibrium will welcome both disobedience and obedience for the sake of Equilibrium.
@StranglerSix ah I see I see. So order is more about doing the "good thing" at all costs while equilibrium is complete balance, so both good and bad. I still don't get why xipe was the one who merged with Ena tho - Harmony and order are two opposing ideologies, and that contrast is even seen in the penacony story.
Edit: turns out it's another localization issue where the translation didn't have enough depth. Apparently Ena's name in the original Chinese version is 太一, which means "primordial unity of yin and yang" or supreme unity.
I can't explain clearly here but, if you read the novel "I Shall Seal The Heavens" by Er Gen, you'll understand a bit about aeonhood and why some aeons get absorbed or killed by other aeons. I know there's no such thing called aeon in that novel but, the concept is very much the same. Some people gain power, understanding the law of the universe, the requirement met, ascend to aeonhood, there's other people with different but same understanding or conflicting law. When first HSR mention people can become aeon, ISSTH is the first in my mind.
This is what I’ve been saying for a while now… I left comments on other videos about this exact theory.
I have said it that Ena has dominion over Xipe to some degree and Xipe’s path of harmony that it represents wouldn’t go out of its way to destroy another Aeon since that would go against the path.
Worlds created by Ena and follow this order also fall this is stated in a sim uni entry. It relates back to what Welt was talking about with Acheron. And is exactly what is happening to Penacony in the memoria, the Family is trying to stop Penacony from falling apart and hiding it from the public. But there is also the enigmata of Penacony, whose entire purpose is hiding the “truth” of penacony, since that’s the pony of the path of enigmata, it also explains the history of Penacony with cartoons which relates to history fictionologists.
It’s obvious in design that Penacony is built on the order, Ena has the dream bubbles and the eye guy in her art meaning Penacony is one such world that will get destroyed… even the title Watchmaker I assume is based on The Watchmaker Analogy which is a teleological argument for God that states that a design implies there is a designer… but the Watchmaker in a readable states they have abilities of the enigmata.
But the enigmata and order don’t have to go against each other, hiding things to keep power over a situation works for the order who has dominion over the harmony, but it’s obvious the order also needs harmony as harmony is the broader path which implies that Harmony doesn’t need order but Order requires an amount of harmony to not lose control… Ena is stated in the sim universe entry to be a control freak.
So the Order and Enigmata may very well be working together on Penacony, to keep a level of harmony even if through dishonesty, which will inevitably lead to the planet’s fall, even in history Penacony started as a prison planet which is about control.
In my opinion, Harmony needs Order. To some degree. For example, there needs to be Order for Harmony to be born. But Harmony doesn't need Order to exist after that.
And The Harmony might have absorbed The Order in the same way chlorophyll was absorbed by early single-celled organisms, creating the first actual plant cells.

i wish i saw this a bit sooner but it not crazy from honkaverse lore perspective, assimilation don't destroy a path so Order still exist within Harmony is 100% true even without knowing the newest story, the process that would destroy a path is cannibalize, where a path will devour another path
they could also not be trying to "bring ena back" but instead "bring the path back" by someone trying to ascend into aeonhood and becoming the aeon of order, maybe they think order is better than harmony because of their own goals, since order at it's core is made by control, while harmony don't.

aventurine whole plan would make so much more sense, given that originally I believe Opal was the one tasked for Penacony but was swapped by Diamond,maybe Diamond knew that he has something related with Ena after all (meaning the theory of the eyes is also valid)

I do believe when one Aeon deceased, the influence and power isn't really gone. It either create or influence a new path and aeon.
Right after permanence gone, abundance shows up and become stronger. No wonder people in xianzhou gather and to get the blessing. The people who are decendant of Long still exist.
Meanwhile Aeon trailblaze and Beauty is long gone. I do believe Idrilla also gone. But the people who believe in their aeon are not gone as well.
Same with Aeon Ena. I think the factions simply merge into other factions or act in shadow.

I have a crazy theory, near the end of the peakony story, there was a planet that was of the beauty, idrilla, and we know we will get March 8 this year or next year, what is March is an emanator of the beauty, or maybe even idrilla herself who disappeared after being trapped in ice, march has already said she has a special connection with all things cute in the high cloud quintet companion story
Well, with the way penacony is going any thing can be a possibility as good as any other... the next part of penacony is going to be a wild ride so this might be the wild that will happen...
I think a lost Path could resurface, since the idea behind a path does not need an Aeon to exist (take for example Argenti and the Knights of Beauty). So if Order is indeed to return as a result of the events in Penacony, I would wager we'd have a new Aeon of Order spearheading the Path.
I believe Ena is still alive inside xipe theory mostly because of the hand in the boss fight with Sunday in phase 3, it looks like xipe hand in some parts but it also has this white color in some parts. What if it's like a sign that Ena is slowly taking over xipe?.
It'll be cool if there is a story about an aeon who is taken over by another aeon inside of them or maybe they will merge

I love this theory! And I find very suspicious 3 stonehearts are involved in just returning 1 planet. In Jarilo-VI case it was only 1 stoneheart. So I guess there's something bigger in their plans than just returning 1 planet to the IPC.

I have a crazy theory that there never was a Xipe! It has only been Ena. Ena wearing a disguise. Harmony shouldn't trigger Ena's Prima Mobile because it is a form of order, albeit a softer one.
I subscribe to this because of how controlling Sunday is, and because of the hints we get from the teaser. Those aint just Watchmaker clockwork robots!
It is unlikely. The Aeon of order cannot tolerate any disorder. If it will still exists, he will not allow IPC, destruction, hunting, and fertility to be born.
I mean, the goal of the Harmony is the assimilation of all things to be part of a harmonious family. And the Order most likely wanted things to be rigid and together, in a way that Harmony (a broader subject) was able to subsume. In this understanding, Harmony itself is the Order that Ena used to embody, because Harmony itself encompasses that idea. While Ena may still exist within Xipe, the role Ena has is effectively rended useless because it's been outsourced to the Harmony. I think that while Ena coming back is unbelievable, the presence of Ena certainly is relevant. Maybe we'll see her or something idk.
In the new sunday boss that is coming you can see enas hand that meets sundays hand before going to burst, you can also see that ena is the eye controlling the doll through strings and the Sunday boss is like a doll

Considering that Xipe is a pluralistic, thousand-faced entity which has its own avatars exist in the form of the Harmonic Strings, it wouldn't actually be too far-fetched that Ena was merely downgraded and intergrated into this plural existence. Like you said, if Ena does manage to resurface even briefly, we'd be seeing an event that turns knowledge about Aeons upside down. A Black Swan event you could say. Something that's only obvious in hindsight; just because there's no solid proof of something doesn't make it impossible.
Despite Kafka using it as an example as one of the ways for an Aeon to die, Xipe/Ena is the only case of its kind told to us... and Herta herself expressed how they don't know nearly enough about how the dynamics of similar Paths work since many other Paths that overlap don't end up like Xipe/Ena. In other words, in the same way that Finality existing didn't prevent Nanook from rising, Equilibrium just existing doesn't really stop Ena from returning.
Since you mentioned the Qliphoth-debt theory, I imagine you might have read a certain post in reddit... so I'd just add by saying Jing Liu might be right about the chess game between Aeons. 'Paths' are written as 'destiny' in the original chinese, so mortals walking the Paths are indirectly taking up a piece of destiny in favor of one Aeon or another.

I mean Ena "returned" for a split second in Sundays boss fight lending the Embryo of Philosophie her power. She as an aeon is as far as we know still a part of Xipe and that probably won't change.
As for the IPC thing we just have to wait and see. Patch 2.3 will be about the IPC's/Jades arrival in Penacony so who knows maybe they actually bring this up.
The idea of aeons existing even after death is something I could see, BUT I personally think that that's only the case if an aeon got absorbed by another aeon. If it gets killed by aeons like tayzzyronth did, then they will probably be dead forever. I think that if a aeon gets absorbed that the aeon is just inprisioned in the aeon which absorbed it and not straight up dead, therefore still existing in some form.

The new boss next patch looks suspiciously similar to Ena, and has a similar theming as well.
Honestly i believe it is order that absorbed harmony and not vice versa. And history fictionologists basically work with the family to spread to whole world that order died and now its just harmony that is around. Reason being is to look cuter to the whole cosmos. Order is hated by basically anyone because order was forcing themselves on everyone. The Family acting with Ena rather than Xipe checks this out.
Trailblazer managed to catch the Glaze of Xipe, and there are countless other worlds directly blessed by Xipe mentioned in the story in general, and Penacony itself.

Harmony is a form of order they follow the same principle but they function differently. Also i highly doubt the IPC has any plans regarding aeons, they literally go against their aeon's desires; that's why Qlipoth is not interested whatsoever in the IPC as a whole.
EDIT: the reason why the harmony path converged with order is because they are very similar to each other, they flow from the imaginary tree in the same direction following the same principle. for example, destruction will never meet harmony because they flow in opposite directions to each other (it's like ying yang, black and white etc.) hence why the "natural merge" will never occur. they could kill each other tho...this being the second method on how 2 aeons can merge.
Also, something to take into consideration regardind Qlipoth. THEY are not interested in the IPC but THEY aided the MC by granting them the power of preservation. In the cutscene, when the MC is about to grab that fiery lance there is a very brief moment where we can see Qlipoth's hammer hitting an anvil; it's like a flashback.

Honestly aeons are probably more an physical manifestation of ideology and not an actual force and even if the aeon that represents said ideology is gone that ideology can remain

Here is even dumber suggestion. What if Eno or the Dreamchaser was created by the Stellaron. We know a Stellaron can grant wishes, is it possible that somebody on Penacony wished for Aeon of Order (or for its power)? judging from events on Jarilo-VI and Loufu, everything is possible.

@@cn005ckrmy tip, survive......the only way i did it, after hundreds of times.......it tooked me 2 hours, i did 1%damage per round, i was using like 1 attack from 1 caracter.....the rest where focused on survability
(I was also having marth 7th follow up attak as damage provider)
