I'm almost 40 never dated and my dad viciously and violently beat me for 30 years, and l absolutely hated his guts, and when he finally died two years ago, l didn't shed a tear now l chose to forgive him because l didn't want that dark cloud always hanging over my head and let it go and doing so l was able to grow closer to God.

      I disagree
If someone makes you angry, you need to look at it, study it and learn why
It might be your own trauma
I am reconciling with my x girlfriend
When she makes me angry I catch it now and express it in a way that is helpful to her and me
You can shift it and grow

My father was a middle weight boxer in the 40s.And he told me a man is more of a man.If he can walk away from a fight then get into it. Because it takes a lot of self control Not to react but to step away.
And you think about it, it's so easy to react. It's so easy to lash out and get angry and lose your sense of control. But how much hardor is it to be in control.
The more you practice the better you get at it

I am still occasional feeling angry to what happened to me in my last relationship. I had been blind of believing and giving all and help as much 😢and once I was all empty in the bank, that evil woman left. I picked myself up and being angry really had done more damaged than making my life move forward . It was poison and toxic to us if we dont control our anger, now ive learned to control my anger more and those past were just a cloud that went past or just a story that I ve read. Thank you for more wisdom, Ijust wish I had come across with STOICISM before. You are really a good guidance to all🙏🙏🙏👌👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

3:35 Would it not be better to say, 'being kind is the best way to get back at someone.' Nice is a social mask people use to interact with the world, where kindness is an active choice to pour positivity into someone else who needs it. Surely that's the more stoic way?

Being stoic in a nutshell is actually being able to control every single emotion we have in a neutral fashion, we all need hate anger happiness sadness depression indifference it’s what makes us human, being able to identify those and handle them is stoic, emotions are inevitable so is the outcome the thing we have control over is us, how we react, once you understand that about YOU, you’ll be on your way to your version of stoicism

There is a lot of truth in this video, but as I settled back to listen, I had to rewind and couldn't believe my ears!!!!!! "LOVE , ANGER AND GREED ARE THE THREE GATES THAT LEAD TO HELL." Whaaaaaaat? How does LOVE lead to hell? The time stamp is : 17:56. I replayed it to be sure. "Love is one of the three gates to Hell." Sorry, I can't go along with that. Love is the most important thing in life.

I find anger can help me get things accomplished like when my brother was murdered. This video is a bunch of slogans for pillow stitching.

Should we keep quiet when people take advantage of us for their wrong intentions, most of my family members take advantage my kindness and if I say something to stop them I’m the one with problem but yet I am the one who have help them always financially whenever they need it, they expect me to hand out every time they need help and never think if I needed help, any advice is greatly appreciated
